The mont Kailen stepped on the battlefield of the simulation,he didn’t feel like he was in a simulation.

He was on an actual battlefield. The scent of blood lingering in the air.

Corpses and mangled blood were littered here and there.

Kailen quickly tried to use Umbral replacent to leave the battlefield,but he realized it was not working .

Quickly, Kailen ignored the ti dilation artifact , summoned all his shadow creatures into the shadow expanse then summoned them unto the battlefield .

Before he even had the chance to use the umbral replacent skill on one of them , his head was severed cleanly of his shoulders ,his blood splattering everywhere .

Kailen reappeared again on the battlefield.

This ti he activated Umbral replacent again as soon as possible.

The young man appeared on a portion of the battlefield then quickly activated his shadow sense and elental mirroring to heighten his awareness of the battlefield.

A shadow katana materialised in his right hand, pulsing with profound darkness.

Then, his shadow creatures ford a thick pulsing obsidian armor around him.

His obsidian form grew larger as shadows migrated towards him, encroaching his figure.

His stood ,towering, a collosus-his katana,massive.

Then... He moved...

His collosal form seed ethereal as he moved, weaving in and out of the battlefield -simple yet ingenious and unpredictable.

Within grasp-yet ethereal.

Each slash reaped the life of an Asura-those that were in his league for him to take on of course.

He mimicked the movents of his enemies perfectly, struck before they struck and countered attacks perfectly.

All the elves could see was a collosal obsidian being ,turning into streaks and phantoms ,weaving and reaping the lives of their enemies across the battlefield.

The phantom fought with dramatic finesse, unpredictable yet straightforward -with deceptive ferocity.

Kailen thrust the katana into the eye of a collosal asura, the katana ’s edge crackling with lightning as he slashed diagonally , the creature’s head cleaving into two.

" That’s for cutting off my head ,fucker "

Not far from Kailen , a female asura was fighting a feminine elf warrior -who was surprisingly attacking the asura with a bow and arrow in one hand ,her movents very agile as she also attacked the asura with sword in another hand at the sa ti.

For a while the feminine elf warrior seed to be clashing on equal grounds with the female asura until the asura chuckled maniacally as she mocked " Enough playing, ti to get serious, little elf "

Th elf revealed a helpless expression, knowing full well that giving up was not an option. It was better for her to die with honor alongside her comrades on the battlefield that to surrender pathetically to the enemy .

The Asura decided to use all her nine hands in the battle from this point on.

Several tallic battle staffs appeared in all of her hands at the sa ti.

She started striking the elf with the staffs , her movents so fast that her attacks produced

after- images as she laughed maniacally, clearly seeing the elf’s futile struggle aganst her attacks.

The female elf gritted her teeth, then perford so incantations.

" Alu shamu ,skar ara....."

Her hair started glowing with white intensity as she chanted and tried to hold back against the attacks of the Asura at the sa ti.

The Asura seemingly unbothered by the elf’s futile attempts kept attacking her with grueso ferocity.

Suddenly , a radiant ginormous gate shimred to life above the elf .

The gate flung open as a large bell glowing with otherworldly light appeared out of the gate and chid ,resounding in the ears of everyone on the battlefield.

Several Asuras started losing their bearings on the battlefield, suddenly becoming weaker on the battlefield and granting their opponents an advantage over them-The weaker Asuras of course were the ones subject to this effect of the chiming of the bell

However ,others ,stronger ,were not victims of this, attacking their enemies with more ferocity than before.

One of such parties in question ,was the female asura engaged in a battle with the elf.

No matter how many tis the bell in the sky chid, she remained unbothered. It was like the more the bell chid the more she found reasons to tornt her opponent. It was clear from their exchange that the Asura held the upper hand and could defeat the elf in a few exchanges, yet like any other Asura, she was a battle maniac who enjoyed pumling her opponent as much as she could.

Finally the elf coughed a mouthful of blood ,having co to the end of the rope.

" A pity ,little elf " The Asura’s feminine guttural voice echoed.

"Perhaps if you were stronger , I could have the thrill of enjoying this battle for more than I have . What a boring battle field . Such weaklings " She spat as she stared disdainfully at the elf struggling weakly in her hands.

The elf was just about to activate her self detonate chanism, in an attempt to at least kill herself with the Asura when sothing unexpected happened.
