There was no such thing as a free lunch in the universe. As long as Zarek and his sister or family whatsoever were not a threat to him and his loved ones, he didn’t mind them riding on his coat-tails in the future. He’d repay Zarek’s investnt and support.

"Anyway, you might want to check the news when we get back. A surprise awaits," Zarek said to Kailen, then bolted off.

Curious about what he ant, Kailen caught up.

"This will take too long. Let’s teleport," Kailen said.

With that, Kailen used Umbral Replacent to get them both out of there.
