He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact Chapter 358.Pan’s genius
Lian Yu and Esimo, units fighting side by side, charged through the horde of approaching monstrosities, unleashing their strongest moves.
These were not creatures they could take lightly.
"Descent of the wind sabre!"
Szzzzhhhh—
Lian Yu’s rune-inscribed sabre, shimring in a silhouette of condensed sabre intent, and enveloped in condensed wind, floated above his floating form, casting a looming shadow on all beneath it.
Shhhhooowww!
The sabre shot towards a couple of approaching spawned creatures with preternatural speed, tearing through the air like a sheet of paper.
The attack and several cataclysmic ones of the monstrosities t, causing several shockwaves to erupt—only to reveal several dead creatures, and so completely uninjured, from the exchange.
Simultaneously, Esimo’s elental titan—made of lightning, fire, and ice—manifested around Esimo, equally wielding an ethereal hamr like Esimo himself.
Then he charged. The attack landed across the expanse, clashing with the approaching horde of creatures and their attacks.
Naturally, so of the creatures perished, whereas others boasting terrifying speed, higher rank, and physical defenses remained unhard.
Brief silence.
"Charge!"
"Fuck them over!"
Lian Yu and his unit, alongside Esimo’s, pressed forward—affinities flying through the air.
The unit mbers, each resolving to prove themselves through the society wars, with their loved ones and the whole empire watching, gritted their teeth and pressed towards the monstrosities.
They rembered their president’s words.
He didn’t explicitly make it clear that he would co to save them. But he made it clear that he wouldn’t babysit them.
If they wanted to be worthy of the Sword Tribunal Society, they couldn’t be weak.
If they wanted to keep enjoying the resources of the society that had boosted their strength to this level, then they had to survive this hell hole first.
If they wanted to be strong—so that the dog-eat-dog principles of the universe did not overwhelm them—then a place like this couldn’t be their dying place.
So they scread and fought.
As a day roughly went by, changes were noticed in the mbers of the Sword Tribunal Society.
Cowards who hesitated to face enemies prior to the society wars were pushed to their limits—they had no choice but to kill or be killed.
Those with poor battle reflexes and experiences evolved.
Deanors of naivety were starting to shift into that of seasoned, hardened warriors.
Rivalries disappeared, replaced by the sole desire to survive and improve oneself.
Swords t claws.
Sabres t limbs.
Axes t carapaces.
Halberds t heads.
Weapons of different calibers t the creatures—spawning endlessly and relentlessly.
Affinities t affinities.
During this movent, Pan Halfoy and unit were tactically fighting on the battlefield too.
Yes, that’s right—they were fighting.
But were they not told to distribute universe energy recovery elixirs and healing elixirs?
Yes, that’s what they had been told to do, and Pan had done just that—no, he was doing just that.
Instead of manually handing over universe energy–recovering elixirs and healing elixirs, Pan had employed a different thod.
A couple of small nanobots he had bought from the academy stores before the society wars and had slightly adjusted with programming could be seen swarming the units with these alchemical products, distributing them.
Not just the mbers of the Sword Tribunal Society and Kailen observing everything through the eyes of his shadow creature were shocked at his ingenuity and genius—even the spectators from across the empire couldn’t help but be shocked.
When did the witch race have soone who was interested in technology?
Witches were archaic individuals who preferred solely focusing on their curse affinities, right?
Was technology—especially the area of machinery—not the stuff of the machine race?
So why would, not just anyone, but soone from the last race they’d think about producing soone like this—the witch race—be so gifted in that area?
Honestly, the witch race themselves were currently confused about the whole thing at the mont.
It was pretty much obvious to the witches from this that Pan had hid this aspect of his abilities—related to his expertise when it ca to technology—from them because he knew he’d probably be branded as unserious for focusing on sothing that would have seed like a distraction other than focusing on honing his curse usage, and he decided to showcase this ability now because, unlike the Narga Galaxy, there wouldn’t be anyone here to berate him .
As for Pan himself, little did he know about the uproar his demonstration was causing outside.
Coupled with his profound use of his curse affinity, he was already getting a fan base in the outside world.
Pan was currently engaged in a battle with a large arachnid.
The creature lashed towards him with its pincers, which caused a gaping hole to appear at where the pincers landed.
Pannngg!!!
Huffff!!
Managing to narrowly evade the creature’s assault and appearing in its blind spot, Pan shot several dark balls of energy towards the creature.
When one observed closer, one would have noticed that Pan’s attack suddenly slowed the creature down—courtesy of his curse affinity—although it literally did no physical damage to it.
Its movents beca more sloppy.
"Talk about perks of leadership responsibilities."
Pan sighed, having to deal with the bigger fish and leaving the small fry to his unit mbers because he had to demonstrate his abilities as a leader and boost their morale.
He’d have been better off in so alchemy lab concocting pills and elixirs—but here he was, fighting for his life.
Well, he knew that in order to be the great alchemist he wanted to be, he had to be alive first to do that—and in order to be alive, he had to ironically risk his life to get stronger. So here he was.
Not that he had a problem with this anyway.
After all, he was now a rank 2 beginner stage ascendant level lifeform, which was quite fast compared to the fact that he had beco a rank 1 beginner stage ascendant level lifeform just recently— which was a consequence of the rune oath he broke with the Arcane Empowernt Sect and society to join the Sword Tribunal Society.
Also, his alchemical knowledge had broadened compared to before.
He had indeed made the right call to join the Sword Tribunal Society.
With the way things were going, he’d say he’d outgrow his previous self from before he left the Arcane society very soon.
These thoughts flashed through his mind for rely a second, after which he sighed, then muttered—
"Estrangent of Virgos."
The mont he said that, large dark tendrils that seed like so sort of grotesque ropes shot from Pan’s body and appeared around the now-sloppy arachnid from its blind spot, bounding every part of its body.
After that, the creature started screeching in pain for so reason.
When one looked closer, they’d realize that the creature was becoming weaker as a result of the dark tendrils completely binding to the creature’s figure.
A thick scent of burning flesh wafted in Pan’s ear and pervaded the surroundings for a while as the creature struggled weakly.
No one in the environs and the spectators from all across the empire could actually see the creature burning from the outside—but they could sll the scent of sothing being roasted.
Estrangent of Virgo was a skill of Pan which, when used, burnt the opponent from inside out and also weakened them by causing debuffs to their strength.
Very soon, the monstrosity scread weakly—after which it bloated and burst apart, its charred innards scattering across the desert floor.
"Now that was sothing."
Pan muttered, completely unaware of the uproar his performance was causing outside!
Of course ,not only Pan was having a sensational following , Esimo and Lian Yu too, had a lot of fangirls right now.
