Now reading: Chapter 455. The Iron Fang Syndicate from He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact, a Fantasy novel by theartisan3.

The chaotic zone x77 was alive with movent and noise.

Even after the destruction of the Davy Jones Pirate Agency and the Barbosa Crew, whispers spread across the expanse like wildfire.

Kailen Darkhaven floated calmly in his spaceship.

He had co across a new target, an organisation that fit the requirents of the mission completely.

His attention fell on the Iron Fang Syndicate, a group that had grown dangerously fast in the last few months. Their leaders were powerful , at the interdiate stage galactic level, and therefore, he was physically not a match for them.

That however didn’t an he couldn’t eliminate them.

From what Kailen’s shadow hounds observed, the Iron Fangs were ruthless, organized, and highly dependent on their communication rune-inscribed artifacts.

Every plan, every heist, every territorial adjustnt relied on these artifacts. Their prioritised ssages resonated constantly between towers, ships, and field operatives, maintaining a facade of unity and coordination.

The syndicate’s work was simple but effective, as they raided trade convoys, captured rare resources, and enslaved sentient beings for labor or sale.

Their specialty was timing and coordination; no single antagonizing factor was strong enough to challenge them alone, but together, they moved with extre efficiency.

They were also cunning, using misinformation and staged betrayals to sow distrust in neighboring groups, further solidifying their power while keeping the zone unstable.

These guys were really cunning.

Kailen studied them through the shadow hounds’ eyes, noting every practice , every patrol pattern, and every flaw in their network. They were strong, yes, but overconfident, overly dependent as they trusted their communication system more than their own instincts.

He smiled lightly.

The plan was simple.

Two of the shadow hounds infiltrated, moving along the outer periter of the Iron Fang Syndicate, observing patrols and noting weak points.

The third shadow hound entered the syndicate’s main tower, where a dozen high-ranking mbers were discussing their next moves.

The room was large, elite by the standards of x77, but humble compared to the estates of places like the Astral Empire.

Holographic displays lined the room, communication rune-inscribed artifacts placed here and there.

Without a sound, the shadow hound, well-versed in runes like Kailen’s other shadow creatures, tampered with the communication rune-inscribed artifacts.

A slight adjustnt here, a gentle interference there—no one would suspect an outside force. Orders intended for one captain were sent to another.

Ti-sensitive coordinates were ssed with, disorganized and contradictory as alerts contradicted one another.

ssages arrived late, then repeated, then vanished entirely.

Confusion spread instantly amongst the mbers of the syndicate.

The Iron Fang Syndicate’s leaders shouted over each other, calling for reports, trying to decipher which orders were real.

Subordinates, unable to verify commands, hesitated or acted based on wrong instructions.

Ships left docks without coordination. Teams sent to raid the sa target collided mid-space.

Guards were reassigned unnecessarily, leaving actual points of interest undefended.

It was pure anarchy, disorder, and chaos.

Kailen observed it all, through the eyes of the shadow creatures, satisfied.

The Iron Fangs had trained for unpredictablities—but not this kind.

Over the next few monts , the syndicate collapsed under its own miscommunication.

Field leaders accused one another of betrayal. Patrols turned back the way they ca , wasting hours that should have been spent on attacks.

Strategic points were left unguarded. So factions within the syndicate mistook misdirected orders as evidence of insurrection and struck each other down before confirming the facts.

From Kailen’s view , it was like watching a predator calmly feeding on a herd as it turned on itself.

He didn’t touch a single syndicate mber.

The shadow hounds and his subtle manipulations were enough.

In the control tower of the Iron Fang Syndicate, a lieutenant slamd his fist against the desk.

"Why are our ssages coming in scrambled? Did soone interrupt with our communication signals and ss with our runes?"

"No, our secrets are our secrets. How could soone get to know about our communication runes?" another shouted, "it must be internal sabotage! One of our own has betrayed us!"

Argunts erupted. Leaders shouted, accusing each other.

Conflicting reports caused hesitation, and hesitation in chaotic zone x77 was fatal.

Entire squads were caught unprepared as patrols clashed by accident, allies clashing with allies instead of enemies.

anwhile, the shadow hounds left the wreckage, unnoticed, returning to the shadow expanse, ensuring Kailen’s interference remained invisible.

Every ssage they intercepted, every machination of disorder they initiated was untraceable.

No one could even imagine the mastermind behind the chaos.

In a short mont, the Iron Fang Syndicate had destroyed itself almost completely.

The few survivors fled, abandoning the syndicate entirely. Reports of betrayal, attacks from within, and total collapse spread through the territory and x77 like a storm.

Other factions ,individuals , whispered in awe and fear.

"Did you hear about the Iron Fangs?"

"Yeah... their leaders turned on each other overnight. None of them survived."

"Crazy... who could do that?"

"I heard soone tampered with their communication network."

"Yeah, no one knows how it happened but it occurred."

Kailen watched the whispers spread from his spaceship, completely unfazed.

No one would know it was him. No one would ever trace it back. And yet, the zone had just been thinned of a dangerous, growing faction.

He leaned back in his chair.

He muttered. "Let’s see who else needs cleaning."

And in chaotic zone x77, another story suddenly began to circulate—an invisible hand turning allies against each other, leaving nothing but destruction in its wake.

The Iron Fang Syndicate was not the end.

Kailen artifacted different thods, operating from the shadows, using sches, thinning the zone.

Kailen Darkhaven did not pause.

Two weeks later...

"Seriously, the Ghost Hand has struck again. The mysterious person destroyed a Black Market Station "

"Whoever this mysterious person playing God is, they are really dangerous."

"At this point, no one can deny that soone is behind the sudden disappearances of these factions in the zone."

"The thods are different, but the outco is clear. It’s definitely one person, or one organisation targeting the others."

"People are calling whoever is behind this the Ghost Hand, because they operate like a Ghost."

Kailen, seated in his spaceship calmly, sighed.

"Ghost Hand huh. Seriously, what’s with people and their cliché naming sense?"

The ti dilation artifact hovering around him clicked her tongue.

"Oh co on kid, you are enjoying this."

"Fuck off."

" What you say little bitch"

" I was dreaming, golden finger"
