Kailen observed quietly. He was studying the jagged terrain, the map—crumbling cliffs and scorched fields which highlighted past conflicts.

"This will be a solo mission," Boro said. "Your track record speaks for itself. We don't need to send reinforcents. The Frontlines are stretched thin, and this kind of situation, you are the perfect operative for this kind of mission."

Kailen nodded in understanding.

Boro added, "You get in, neutralize the contractors, and make sure this sector doesn't beco a staging ground for a full-scale attack. Report to HQ via com for permanent reinforcents as soon as your work there is done. You depart effective imdiately."

Kailen nodded. "Sir."

After that, he left the room.

Boro watched the retreating back of the young man.
