"Mr. Anvilheart, please, let lead you to the lab. I’m sure you have already familiarised yourself with the mission details, so I won’t waste any of your ti," the first young master said.

Kailen nodded and followed him. Very soon, they reached the lab.

"Please, proceed. We hope to have satisfactory results in twenty-four hours."

"Alright" Kailen entered the lab.

The first young master left as he shook his head "At least I didn’t send him off disgracefully"

The lab was extrely large; several artifacts hovered in the space.

"These guys want to make 5,000 rune-inscribed artifacts by morning, huh? No, technically, that guy thinks I won’t succeed. He didn’t want to sack disgracefully," Kailen mused inwardly. "He wants to try and fail and leave cordially, so that it does not look like he has offended soone from the Runesmith Association. What a sly fellow."

Several artifacts hovered before Kailen. He started working.

anwhile, in the conference room, the first young master and the other leaders of the Morrow Chamber of Comrce were staring at a large holographic screen that appeared before them.

Although they knew Karag Anvilheart would fail because of the enormity of the task, it was not every day that one got the opportunity to observe the work of a runesmith with such high rune skill proficiency. They still decided to observe him.

When he began, they saw that his movents had the air of a runesmith veteran. This was natural because he was a rank 7 runesmith; after all, he was at the universe level. This ant that he had been a secondary Carrier professional for a very long ti. Also, to get to the level of a rank 7 runesmith was not a small feat. So, they were not too shocked at his work.

But very soon, their expressions started changing.

Karag Anvilheart’s movents seed to be evolving. The way he inscribed runes on the artifacts—the speed of his work, the fluidity—was too exceptional. Also, he was using both hands to work, and his movents were effortless.

That was not the only thing. The number of rune-inscribed artifacts... he had already made fifty.

"How long has it been?" one muttered, shocked.

"Just a few minutes. What the hell?"

As they watched, silence hung in the room. All eyes were glued to the holographic screen. Everyone was watching what was happening in the lab.

100... 200... 400.

Karag Anvilheart was moving very fast in the lab.

How the hell was he inscribing runes on the artifacts so fast? What sort of mastery was this? Was everyone with rune skill proficiencies of 90 percent and above this extraordinary?

No. The previous runesmiths they had hired to make the products they had lost to pirates had a few with rune skill proficiency of 90 to 91 percent among them. They had paid a very high amount of universe coins to get them to work for them. Even they did not accomplish what this fellow was accomplishing in such a short ti, nor did they have this level of mastery.

No one was saying anything. They were just staring at the holographic screen dumbly in shock, trying to process what was happening.

500... 1,000... 3,000... 4,000... 5,000.

The conference room was still silent.

In the lab, Kailen simply nodded. He checked the rune skill proficiency displayed by the appraisal artifacts.

Sigh. It seed limiting his rune skill proficiency to 93 percent was very hard. He had been carried away a bit.

"I suppose I need to keep it at 94 from now on, till I find it necessary to reveal my actual identity," Kailen thought.

After that, he left the room. His work here was done. He checked the ti; it was roughly 5:00 AM. There were even a few hours to spare before the ti for completing the mission was up.

The first person to co to his senses was the first young master. This fellow was a prodigy—a prodigy they needed to befriend.

"Prepare the high-tier cultivation chamber for Mr. Anvilheart," the first young master said to his secretary. After that, he bolted out of the room. He would be a fool if he did not get in the good graces of soone like this. This young man was a prodigy who would make a na for himself in the empire sooner or later. Even if he was not interested in befriending the Chamber of Comrce, the Chamber of Comrce had to, at least, be in his good graces. What if he took offense with how they treated him and he cos for revenge in the future when he was more powerful?

In the conference room, many finally processed what had happened after the first young master regained his composure and bolted out of the room.

"He actually did it?"

"Does that an we have escaped this unfortunate situation?"

"Look at the rune skill proficiency of all the products."

"Why is it 94 percent?"

"It’s actually 94 percent?"

"Wait, does it an that his rune skill proficiency of 93 percent or sothing was inaccurate?"

"It’s more accurate to say that he was hiding his actual rune skill proficiency."

"The universe is indeed full of many mysterious and terrifying individuals."

"This is a miracle. We finally managed to turn the situation around thanks to him. No wonder the First Young Master decided to reward him with the high-tier cultivation chamber."

"Our Chamber of Comrce is saved."

"Quick, quick, let’s go out and greet him, too. Such an expert deserves our respect."

***

The mont Kailen stepped out of the lab, the hallway was packed with the higher-ups of the Morrow Chamber of Comrce. Before he could walk past them, the leader—the tall elf—bent at the waist level.

"Thank you, Mr. Anvilheart. Our Morrow Chamber of Comrce will always be in your debt."

The other higher-ups followed, repeating the sa words.

Karag Anvilheart simply nodded. "Nothing personal, just executing a mission. Please, no need for the dramatics."

The first young master nodded. The other higher-ups left, leaving him and Karag Anvilheart alone.

"Sir Anvilheart, we have prepared a high-tier cultivation chamber for you. You can take as much ti as you need over there."

Karag Anvilheart simply shook his head. "As much as I’m grateful for the offer, I have sothing urgent to do."

Kailen would have loved to spend ti in the cultivation chamber for a while. However, he had spent too much ti in the Infa Solar System. If he managed to get into the Imperial Capital, he would have access to denser universe energy for cultivation. If he fulfilled his part of the deal with Legoland, too, he would get a slot to the RiverBlood Empire Academy and access to better cultivation chambers, secret realms, and cultivation mountains.

This was why he had rejected the offer.

The first young master’s eyes flashed. He has rejected their offer? Was he displeased with them for how they had initially treated him? Had Mr. Anvilheart seen through what he did earlier?

"Sir, then let provide you with a bit of useful information. My sources tell that the first ranked on the ranking list of the Runesmith Association branch of your solar system is planning an assassination against you."
