He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact Chapter 657. The Great Erasure
The emperor’s eyes squinted. His figure flickered. He disappeared from the hall.
His gaze scanned the Imperial Capital. Dead bodies. No signs of injuries. None was left alive. The only place life remained was in the hall he was having the eting at.
His wife, his children, his concubines, the imperial family. Everyone was dead. No signs of injuries. Just lifeless bodies.
His gaze shifted upwards. There soone stood. A feminine obsidian figure. She was calm. Strange flas flickered around her.
The elders stepped out of the eting hall. What had gotten the Emperor so riled up that he left when they were having a serious eting? One of them recognized the floating figure.
"Feral."
Panic spread. This was one of Kailen Darkhaven’s strange creatures. A shadow creature, they said he called them. Deed the leader of the legion Darkhaven commanded. If she was here, then their worst fears had co to pass. Darkhaven would not let them off.
Everyone turned to the emperor. What would they do? He was their leader, after all. What he decided was the next step. He chuckled dryly. A helpless, hopeless one.
"What do you all expect to do? Everyone in the imperial capital is dead. We are the only ones alive."
The words of the emperor crushed their hopes entirely. They could not believe it. They spread their perception outwards. It was true. Everyone in the galaxy/capital was dead.
The figure floating before them. How powerful was she? From the nature of the dead bodies, it must have been spiritual attacks that killed them. Their wives, their children. Everyone was dead. Darkhaven’s shadow creature had spared none. He didn’t want to leave any seeds of future revenge alive.
Wait... Did that an they were helpless before her too? Wait, they had rank 8 spiritual power repelling artifacts on, right? Her spiritual attacks won’t work on them. This was good. This would buy them enough ti to flee.
They had to flee. They had to flee as soon as possible. Their lives mattered more than anything now. They could forget about the empire, cultivate, and start new lives in the future, right? As for revenge against Darkhaven? They had learned their lessons after what he just pulled off in the RiverBlood Empire. One had already lost the mont they targeted him.
Feral smiled.
"These bastards. To think because of people like this, the master had to hide behind masks of different identities." She sighed.
Her spiritual power spread outwards, heading towards them. The target was not their minds, but the artifacts. She erased the energy signatures of their rank 8 spiritual power repelling artifacts with precise ease. Then, their artifacts vanished from their bodies.
Panic spread. No. Were they really going to die? Each one of them stared at the emperor, in the sa predicant, with bitter expressions.
Why had they decided to follow this bastard into offending soone like the Mad Tactician? Had he listened to them to not threaten Darkhaven with elimination if he refused to marry the first princess and join them, none of this would have happened. These were the last thoughts on their minds before Feral’s spiritual attacks shredded their consciousness into nothingness.
Lifeless thuds resounded. Each bore looks of dread and regret on their faces in death. The emperor included.
On to the next...

The universe was in an uproar at the mont. Soone was conducting a clean-up exercise. Kailen Darkhaven.
He was not moving. He didn’t need to. His shadow creatures were extensions of his will. They moved on his orders. At the mont, many were chilled at this guy’s level of ruthlessness once again when crossed.
The Crimson Veiled Sect. Erased.
AshenBorne Sect. Erased.
Dusktooth Empire. Erased.
Covert Assassin Syndicate. Erased.
Each of the factions that had that in one way or the other threathened him or targeted his life were being erased overnight. Those that were at the supre stage universe level were not attacked because Darkhaven’s power, and that of his shadow creatures, had not reached that of a supre stage universe level powerhouse.
However, they resolved to never offend him again. Their pride would not permit them to openly admit they had threatened him into joining their factions, that they had even sent rcenaries and assassins in search for him across the starry sea when he refused to join them. But they would never offend him again. Also, they lived in fear, wondering whether or not he had so sort of sche coming for them. They didn’t dare underestimate him. He had used cunning to erase an imperial faction headed by a fellow rank 1 supre stage universe level powerhouse. Soone like this was dangerous, whether at their level or not.
Many of these old monsters fled their factions, empires, and clans to distant regions, changed their identities, and began new lives. Whether or not their empires or organizations perished was not their concern. Their lives mattered to them more than anything. They could only sigh for offending a youngster who could not be viewed with common sense—soone they should have not underestimated.
Streaming sights recorded obsidian creatures wiping out empires, chambers of comrce, and rcenary organizations with swift and chilling ease. Poisons of different kinds were decimated on star systems like bombs, claiming lives. Rank 8 spiritual power repelling artifacts and runic attack repelling artifacts were rendered useless. Energy signatures were erased. The artifacts vanished. Forr bearers fell like rain.
Those who were weak enough to be slaughtered with law attacks fell by the law attacks of the shadow creatures.
The universe was currently silent. Streaming sites were experiencing traffic. Everyone was watching. When was the last ti soone shook the universe like this?
When Darkhaven entered the high-tier civilizations, many had deed him unfortunate because he lacked the backing of the supres, unlike the forr arbiters who beca the disciples of the supres. At the ti, he was deed either a threat to be eliminated, or an asset as an ally, or—to be more precise—a subordinate. They could not have access to the forr arbiters or eliminate them because of their backing. But this forr Arbiter, the one with the most terrifying potential ever, was without a backing. He could be bullied into joining them, and could be eliminated if he refused without them having to face any consequences.
However, reality had proved otherwise.
He had stood alone against them all. Without the backing of any supre. He had outwitted, outplayed, manipulated, and clawed his way to the top. He had played a dangerous ga of power. Now, his predators had turned prey.
This day, forr Arbiter Darkhaven, the Mad Tactician, had shown the universe the cost of targeting him. He was not one to let grudges go. He would not co looking for trouble. But if anyone dared to think they could threaten him, attempt to kill him, and not pay the price, then they were delusional.
Many factions who did not target him sighed in relief. Their foresight, their ability to ta their greed, had saved them from such an occurrence.
This event was recorded in the Virtual Universe Archives. The event was nad, The Great Erasure. 70 high tier Empires, 200 rcenary and assassination organizations, 490 chambers of comrce, 300 sects, among others, had fallen in a single mont because they had offended one man.
Those who were fortunate had fled with fear, not daring to show their face again. The universe would forever rember this incident. It would be one for the history books.
