He Became A Monstrous Genius After Obtaining A Time Dilation Artifact Chapter 664. Chaos wrapped in stillness
The students stared at Professor Darkhaven with shocked expressions. Was he really asking them to co and try?
The students chuckled dryly. Professor Darkhaven was really different; he sounded genuine, too. But no one in their right mind would test the array. Before Mistborn Filis even stepped forward, they already knew it would hold.
Also, what was this level of control over the law of space? One had to know that among the three special laws, space law awakeners were the rarest. Also, the law of space was the most troubleso among the three. Naturally, it was also the most difficult to comprehend.
They had already watched videos, heard rumors, and tales of Kailen Darkhaven’s uncanny execution of the law of space. But seeing it with their eyes was sothing else entirely. They didn’t know how to describe it, but watching him use his law was like watching space itself operate.
Yes, each one of them were at the universe level, and their laws were now one with them—extensions of their will. But there was sothing strange about Professor Darkhaven.
What sort of terrifying connection and understanding did he have with the law of space during his consummate law state, during his breakthrough to the universe level, for his use of it to be this terrifying?
As these thoughts swirled in several minds, the professor’s voice snapped them out of their thoughts.
"That’s the end of the lecture. The next ti we et, each one of you will work in groups of 50 to co up with runic arrays of your own. Those who succeed can consider themselves to have bonus marks for the theory mid-sester examinations. Good day."
"Good day, professor!" The students responded in unison, their voices full of admiration and respect.
They had expected so many things during this lecture. But never did they expect the Professor to be so receptive. It seed they had judged him a bit wrongly; the rumors of his deanor were too exaggerated.
He was definitely ruthless—no doubt. The universe had witnessed that. But he was not so statue who gave people cold glares all the ti, like the rumors exaggerated. So of them had expected a very overbearing atmosphere during the lecture. So even thought they would be too scared to communicate with him, to the extent that they would even piss on themselves. Others thought they would be too intimidated by his presence that they would not be able to focus.
However, they were wrong. It had been a very impactful and healthy lecture. Of course, none of them were foolish. Professor Darkhaven was still the Mad Tactician: chaos wrapped in calmness. That image of him still remained. Yet, they couldn’t help but deem him as one of the best educators they had ever co across. They couldn’t help but look forward to the next lecture.
Kailen observed as the students left the lecture hall. So shot several looks his way. He could figure they wanted to co and talk to him, but their common sense held them back. Very good. He didn’t want to have any sort of ntees or disciples. He had too much to focus on to waste ti disciplining soone.
After exchanging a few whispers among themselves and deciphering the professor would not entertain having ntees or disciples, they joined the other students—currently dividing themselves into groups of 50—before they left the hall. They intended to prepare themselves for the next lecture with Professor Darkhaven.
Kailen’s gaze scanned across for one last ti. He lded with the void and disappeared from the lecture hall.

Professor Darkhaven’s first lecture in the RiverBlood Empire Academy was not just a normal lecture. For soone of his status in the universe, several individuals—staff mbers, students in the academy, empire-wide audience, and beyond—were curious about how his first lecture would turn out.
Many had their imaginations going wild. Like the students before the lecture, many could not wrap their heads around how soone who could end civilizations and organizations in the universe overnight could create a lecture-friendly environnt to lecture students.
However the outco had been entirely different, exceeding expectations.
Currently, Principal Theodora and the academy board had gathered. They were in a living room in a villa. A video was playing on a large holographic screen before them. It was a video of Kailen’s lecture. They all had smiles beaming on their faces. It was a resounding success.
So of the board mbers who were runesmiths even cursed themselves for not being students. They would have really loved to sit in that lecture and the next one. The level of understanding and insights they had gained into runic concepts after following the lecture bordered on the preternatural.
What else could they expect from soone with a rune skill proficiency of 99.99 percent? This person was simply too exceptional. And to think he would go on to perform a legendary feat wrapped in a re demonstration in the lecture.
The Lleo Sruge Protective Array. He had executed it in re monts.
"We were really fortunate about making him a professor," one of the board mbers—a runesmith who had appeared on the Empire Hall Of Fa list a thousand years ago—said. "A runic array that requires 50 rank 8 runesmiths with at least a rune skill proficiency of 88 percent to make was constructed in re monts, like he was taking a walk in the park."
Another nodded with a smile. "This feat of his will shake the universe again. The empire has really lucked out this ti. Emperor Legoland RiverBlood really has foresight. His association with this person has brought this empire a lot of fortune."
"Indeed. I have never seen so many students attend a lecture before," another layered on the words of the previous person. "The level of understanding the students have obtained is worth a thousand lectures. The kind of improvent they will make in their runesmithery from just this lecture cannot be underestimated."
"Indeed, I really want to join the next runesmith lecture he holds. Principal Theodora, is it possible?"
The Principal chuckled lightly. The runesmiths among the board in the room were staring at her with pleaful looks.
"Very well. We will make an exception the next ti he has a runesmith lecture. Staff mbers can also join. Now, it’s ti for us to talk about the Inter-Empire Secondary Carrier Alliance conference happening two months from now. Who will be representing the empire?"
