La replied, "We can't back out now. No matter how strong he is, he cannot take on the two of us at the sa ti, right? Rember, he is the one behind the death of our friend. How can she rest in peace if we let him live?"

Tui nodded. La was right. They could not let Kailen Darkhaven live.

On becoming a transcendent, she left the edge region of the universe to join her uncle here. On the surface, she was a mber of a rcenary organization, but it was not easy to know she's a mber of an Assassin Syndicate."

Dexter sent a thought transmission to Kailen and Dawnseer, who listened with realization. "After all, what's the point of being an assassin when people know you are an assassin? To think she died by your hand. Her uncle probably had his ways of finding out and decided to eliminate you," he added with a sigh. "Even I cannot get involved with them. They could not do anything to help because they simply couldn't. Even if they could have been able to help him, did they need to? It was not like they were his family mbers.
