Seeing the sharp arrow in Shen Tang’s hand, Shen Li’s face suddenly darkened. He ordered coldly, "Surround this area!"
The Leopard Beast hiding in the dark turned pale with fear. He had barely made it to the point of leaving this hellish place, unwilling to end up in prison, he abandoned the assassination attempt on Shen Tang and fled like a shadow.
The patrol team of Beastn were a step too slow to catch him, they only found discarded bows and arrows in the bushes.
Shen Li walked over, showing concern for Shen Tang, "Are you injured anywhere?"
Though Shen Tang’s face was sowhat pale, she calmly shook her head, "I’m fine. I’ve always been lucky, that guy missed ."
Shen Li affectionately sighed, "Xiao Tang, you certainly have a tough fate. Once, twice, all these people are targeting you. I’ll lead the team to investigate shortly, no matter how fast the culprit escapes, they can’t leave without so trace."
Shen Tang thought to herself, isn’t it because of you guys attracting trouble, causing everyone to want her dead? If it weren’t for the defensive equipnt awarded by the system, she would surely have been turned into a pincushion!
Though Shen Li was trying his best to comfort her, Shen Tang understood that the culprit used a handmade bow and arrow, obviously they ca prepared, even surveillance would be hard to investigate, this matter was likely to end unresolved.

Hearing the sudden prompt from the system in her mind, Shen Tang looked up astonished at the red-haired man in front of her, his handso and charming face still wearing a gentle and elegant smile, his long fox eyes glimring with light, appearing more sincere than before.

Shen Li didn’t think he genuinely liked Shen Tang, rely found her curious and likable; they had grown up together, treating her as a sort-of younger sister.
But he was still curious about what Shen Tang did during that hour in Jia Lan’s room.
Feigning ignorance, Shen Li asked curiously, "Xiao Tang, I heard that you mated with Jia Lan?"
"Cough, cough, cough!" Shen Tang, eating enthusiastically, suddenly choked on his unexpected direct question.
"Eat slowly, don’t rush, nobody’s going to snatch it from you." Shen Li patted her back, Shen Tang struggled to swallow the piece of at in her mouth.
"Who said I mated with Jia Lan?"
"The Beastn on the road said so; many saw you coming out of his room at noon."
Shen Tang hurriedly shook her head, "I didn’t; I was just providing him ntal comfort, nothing else!"
After hearing her explanation, Shen Li was even more surprised. She dared drug Xiao Jin, yet during the rmaid’s weakest heat period, she did only such an "innocent" act, and nothing else?
Feeling the probing gaze of the man beside her like needles on her back, Shen Tang also realized that her actions didn’t quite fit the original character, quickly lower her head and poked her bowl with chopsticks, deflated, "That rmaid hates so much, how would I dare do anything; otherwise he’d kill when he wakes up!"
"Ha, that’s true." Shen Li chuckled, still looking at her with a playful glint.
Feeling pressured under his gaze, Shen Tang decided to change the topic, "I happen to have a big deal and would like you to help, are you interested?"
Shen Li raised his brows in surprise, "Oh? What do you want to do, Xiao Tang?"
Shen Tang smirked coldly, "Revenge, and make a fortune!"
