After finishing the al, the team entered a short rest period.
Zhai Chen and the others surrounded the bonfire, either lying down or sitting, making the most of their ti to recover their strength.
Shen Tang, however, found a quiet corner by herself, squatted under a tree, leaned against the trunk, gazing into the pitch-black sky, unable to see even a single star.

Her heart skipped, not wanting others to glimpse her innermost thoughts, she hurriedly put the jade carving back into the space, feigning calmness as she asked, "Captain Qin, is there sothing you need?"
Qin Han, seeing her flustered manner, beca even more curious about the origin of the jade carving.
But he wasn’t one to pry so he didn’t ask impertinently, his voice deep like the night wind, "We have to travel again tomorrow, aren’t you resting?"
Shen Tang shook her head, then quickly nodded, "I’m not very tired... um, maybe I’m a little tired after all, I’d better sleep for a while! Good night, Captain!"
She spoke as she was about to get up and leave, Qin Han didn’t stop her, only when Shen Tang turned did he suddenly ask quietly,
"What’s the deal with your superpower?"
This was sothing Qin Han couldn’t quite figure out.
If Xun Fu wasn’t intentionally abandoned here, then she couldn’t be an ordinary person without a superpower, otherwise she wouldn’t have survived to et them.
He didn’t want to doubt this seemingly pure and beautiful female, but he needed an answer, or he wouldn’t feel at ease taking her to the shelter.

Qin Han was even more surprised, carefully examining her expression, she didn’t seem to be lying.

Maybe she was originally a mber of so Hunting Team, encountered a Mutant Beast attack along the way, her teammates either scattered or died, she was left heavily injured, amnesiac, and without superpower.
However, she could produce so much precious food; her identity was likely not simple.
Qin Han squinted his amber eyes, a trace of pondering flashing through his mind.
"Captain Qin, there are so many things I can’t recall right now, can you tell what’s going on? What are polluted species?" Shen Tang supported herself on one hand, leaning slightly towards him, looking at him expectantly.
As they got closer, Qin Han almost felt her faint breath, even sensed a subtle orchid fragrance from her.
The scent was indescribably attractive, seed to have a natural allure for males, difficult to resist, as if rationality was being emptied.
Qin Han uneasily stood up and stepped back, creating distance from her.
"Hm? Captain Qin?" Shen Tang was taken aback by his sudden action, blinked with moist feline eyes, tilted her head looking at him, her gaze innocent and bewildered.
Qin Han took a deep breath, forcing composure, "You... truly don’t know?"
"I truly don’t know, please tell ! The shelter we’re going to later, what’s it used for? Is it the place where you live?" Shen Tang rocked back on her heels, stepping closer, looking up at him with eyes full of expectation.
