To start, there were three types of dumplings: stead, boiled, and pan-fried. The boiled ones were by far the most nurous, followed by the pan-fried, with stead dumplings being the rarest.
Naturally, the most anticipated and popular dumplings were the pan-fried ones, which had been drawing everyone’s attention from the mont the cooking began. The least popular were the boiled dumplings with the chive and egg filling.
That strange combination of egg and leafy greens... even if Juju made them—
’They might be good! But they definitely won’t be as delicious as my beloved Gugu at or Bibi at!’
Bowl after bowl of dumplings was uploaded to Jiang Qiuqiu’s food platform. Everyone was eagle-eyed, scanning through the listings and quickly picking their ’Mr. Right’ bowl based on the color of the dumpling skins.

Soon, a bowl of steaming hot dumplings appeared before him.

Initially, Terry only ate his dumplings with chili sauce. Ever since trying spicy food for the first ti, he felt he had fallen in love with the stimulating flavor.

It was the cabbage and Gugu at filling. Before he started watching Jiang Qiuqiu’s stream, Terry had rarely eaten leafy green vegetables. The cabbage and Gugu at were both minced into fine pieces, mixed together, and wrapped inside the dumpling as filling. The combination was absolutely divine. With one bite, the once-strange cabbage was completely infused with the flavor of Gugu at, soaked in its savory juices. It was fragrant and soft, and when he occasionally bit into a piece of the stalk, there was even a satisfying crunch!
’Now this is sothing a wolf can totally accept!’
Terry blissfully ate the third and fourth dumplings. His eyes really were sharp—he’d eaten five dumplings in a row, and all of them were aty!
After five at dumplings, he felt he should switch things up and picked up the shrimp and corn dumpling in his bowl.
’Juju said this one was sweet?’
’h.’
’I’m not a fan of sweet things.’
He closed his eyes, tossed the dumpling into the air, tilted his head back with a flick, opened his mouth wide, and caught it perfectly. Terry took a bite—
It really was sweet.
The texture was completely different from at—chewy and bouncy. When he bit down, it wasn’t the savory aroma of at, but the unique, clean sweetness of seafood.
’Why was there only one? I feel like I didn’t even get a proper taste.’
Terry’s long tail thumped restlessly against the bowl.
’How could there be only one! This is an outrage!’
’You need at least two of each flavor to really be able to taste it!’
