"Don’t mimic in the future."

Mo Si stood up and looked down at Mo Chengyu. "It’s an easy way to get hit."

With that, Mo Si quickly went upstairs.

Downstairs, Mo Chengyu was chatting with Zuo Kai.

It took Zuo Kai a mont to catch on.

"Why are you always teasing the Commander?"

"Because my brother is fun to ss with, of course." Mo Chengyu cupped her face, her tone a little distant. "Speaking of which, my brother enlisted at sixteen. He’s just a kid who never had a childhood."

"Enlisting so young, he must have missed out on a lot of fun. I just want to bring a little joy into his life!"

Zuo Kai was speechless. ’So... who’s really having more fun here?’

Upstairs, Mo Si opened a window.

His house was very close to Jiang Qiuqiu’s. The mont he opened the window, the winter wind carried in the aroma of food, allowing Mo Si to guess what she was cooking.

The fragrance filled the air, and he couldn’t help but recall the scene from just now.

He knew Mo Chengyu’s impression of him had to be exaggerated; there was no way he was that punchable.

But seeing his own actions from another’s perspective gave him a different outlook.

After thinking for a mont, he opened his terminal and sent Jiang Qiuqiu a ssage.

She replied quickly, just as fast as usual.

--No! I’m fine with it!!

--Thanks, and sorry to trouble you so much!

--Once I pass the test, I’ll definitely treat you and Sister Chengyu to a big al!

The reply was fast, but Mo Si felt today’s ssages were different from usual. He swiped up, looking at their previous chats.

--Haha, not at all, why would you think that?

--See you tomorrow. Today was really fun.

--You’re a great teacher, and I’m learning really well!

--Mhm, I get it now.

After assessing the difference, Mo Si realized she had beco more polite.

’Basically, that ans she’s a little angry.’

As the brave and responsible man he was, Mo Si decided to apologize in person.

He went downstairs, striding past Mo Chengyu as she looked over so blueprints, and headed straight for the door. The sound of it opening and closing followed shortly after.

"Whoa, he left in a hurry."

"He couldn’t be going to see sweet little Qiuqiu, could he?" Mo Chengyu muttered, sucking in a breath at the thought. Just then, her foot bumped against an insulated container under the sofa. Curious, she picked it up and found it was still heavy.

She opened it and saw it was bamboo shoots again! Her eyes lit up as she spotted a crucial detail.

’Huh, the food container is full. He hasn’t touched it.’

’Qiuqiu usually heads ho from training around noon, which ans this food has been sitting here for almost four hours. And Mo Si was still in this exact spot when I got ho.’

’He was so anxious about asking her that question... So urgent? Does he really care that much?’

She rubbed her chin, feeling her mind conjure up all sorts of trashy dramas.

’But it really is strange.’

She grew pensive.

Mo Si had no idea what Mo Chengyu was thinking. He had already arrived at Jiang Qiuqiu’s front door. Having decided to apologize, he hesitated for only a mont before knocking.

A rhythmic knock sounded. Jiang Qiuqiu was in the kitchen making fried crispy pork. After waiting a mont to scoop the at out of the wok, she went to open the door.

"Black Hole, what are you doing here?" She had thought it was the robot from Taotao Fresh.

"There’s sothing I need to talk to you about."

It was evening, and the afterglow of the sunset bathed the man’s figure. He stood tall and elegant before her. Nothing more needed to be said; the atmosphere was already romantic enough.

Jiang Qiuqiu suddenly felt it was only natural for her imagination to run wild.

’...Ah, so romantic!’

"What is it? Why don’t you co in and talk?" Jiang Qiuqiu pulled the door open wider. "It’s weird just standing in the doorway."

Mo Si walked into Qiuqiu’s house.
