Now reading: Chapter 22: She Has an Idea About the Revenue Split from Her Food Livestream Broke the Galaxy, a Sci-fi novel by Xiang Weixun.

As Jiang Qiuqiu closed her stream, her rank on the charts slowly began to fall, and she soon dropped out of the top ten.

ii went into her back-end system and sent her a contract offer ssage.

ii: Hello, Strear Jiang Juju. My na is ii, and I’m an editor in the Federation Star Network’s live streaming departnt. After watching your stream and its recording, I believe you’re a new strear with imnse potential, and I’d like to offer you a streaming contract. If you’re interested, you can add as a friend at xxxx, and we can discuss the details.

The mont she sent the ssage, ii received a friend request. She collected herself and quickly accepted it.

The ga between editor and strear began.

Jiang Qiuqiu: Hello.

ii: Hello.

Jiang Qiuqiu: You’ve seen my stream and the recording, so I trust you’ve also tried my food. I’m interested in signing and have familiarized myself with the Federation Star Network’s contract standards. I’d like to see the contract.

From the stream, ii had heard Jiang Qiuqiu’s sweet and soft-spoken voice and assud she was a cutesy little girl in private as well.

She never expected her to be so direct and efficient. But on second thought, it made sense. The way she handled situations and conversations on stream several tis offered glimpses of her decisiveness.

Jiang Qiuqiu waited for the editor’s reply.

The Federation Star Network’s contracts weren’t exactly state secrets. Soon, the editor readily sent over a contract template.

It was a standard progression contract, starting at F-level. It was evaluated annually; the more revenue a strear generated for the platform, the higher their contract level would be upon re-evaluation, with the highest being S-level. Reaching S-level ant becoming one of the Federation’s top strears.

This contract was more or less the sa as the ones Jiang Qiuqiu had researched and seed quite fair.

She had no major issues with the contract itself, but she definitely had so thoughts about the revenue share clause.

ii: You can take your ti looking over the contract. You can give an answer tomorrow.

Jiang Qiuqiu: I can give you an answer right now. I have no objections to the contract, but I’d like to change the revenue share for the first year.

ii: You should be aware of the rules. Normally, the contract is non-negotiable—

Jiang Qiuqiu: But my situation isn’t normal.

This wasn’t arrogance, just foresight and planning. "I believe this won’t be the only ti I make it onto the Federation Star Network’s charts."

She stated that the higher her level beca, the more die-hard fans she would have.

ii agreed with this point. Many fans in Jiang Qiuqiu’s stream were constantly begging for a tasting slot, but since demand far outstripped supply, they never got one.

When you haven’t tried sothing yourself, no matter how heartfelt the bullet comnts from others are, there’s always a sense of detachnt.

But it was different for those who had. Once you tasted the food made by Jiang Qiuqiu’s hands, you would never forget the feeling.

It was an experience that echoed the sentint of an ancient poem: once you’ve tasted the best, nothing else can compare.

It was just a change to the revenue share. ii paused for a mont before saying, "You’re a new strear, and I haven’t been in my position for long either. I can tell you that the best ratio I can fight for is 60:40, with you getting the 60."

Jiang Qiuqiu: That’s acceptable.

They were both straightforward people. No beating around the bush—they talked business and stuck to the point. Very quickly, they reached an agreent on their future goals.

Jiang Qiuqiu signed the progression contract with a 60:40 revenue split and was officially assigned to ii.

With the contract settled, ii began to map out Jiang Qiuqiu’s next streaming plan.

Everything out in the open was going smoothly, but—

In so forgotten corner, a certain showy peacock was so furious he squawked like a chicken.
