After the hard-fought battle, Jiang Qiuqiu had clearly co out on top.
She hadn’t even made a personal appearance, yet with a deft touch, she’d managed to neutralize the entire situation.
ii had more and more confidence in Jiang Qiuqiu. "You’re number one on the charts right now, and we’ve already assessed you as the top strear in the Food category."
At this rate, it was only a matter of ti before Jiang Qiuqiu took first place in the Food category.
"Now, for the next step, the editorial departnt’s plan is for you to face off against the top strears from other categories."
Now that was going to be a challenge.
Although the Food category had a respectable audience base on the Federation’s streaming platform, the largest by far was the cha category.
Then there was the Shoutcasting category. While slightly less popular than the cha category, its total followers still numbered in the billions.
After all, the annual league held by the military was just that epic.
ii showed Jiang Qiuqiu so charts detailing the fanbases of top strears from other categories. "It’s going to be tough competing against these veteran strears. Little President Qian and I will support your push for first place, but you need to keep a level head—"
"I know, don’t worry." Jiang Qiuqiu’s tone was light and cheerful. "I’ll give it my all to get first place, but I won’t let this competition get down. I know what I’m doing."
"That’s good. You’re still young, after all." ’Just a young girl,’ ii thought with a smile. "Also, to help drive so traffic your way, the editorial departnt has set you up with a special feature stream on the hopage."
"It’s in three days."
A spot for a special feature stream was incredibly hard to co by. ii didn’t go into detail about what it took to secure it, but Jiang Qiuqiu had been in the business long enough to have so idea of how the recomndation system worked.
A thousand words of gratitude could be condensed into a single sentence: "I won’t let you or Little President Qian down."
"Of course. We all believe in you. Ever since you signed with us, you haven’t disappointed a single person in the editorial departnt."

The next day, Jiang Qiuqiu went to share her good news with Mo Chengyu.
Miss Mo patted her on the shoulder. "Excellent, excellent. Our Qiuqiu is getting more and more impressive."
Jiang Qiuqiu had just started to smile when she saw Zuo Kai and the Right Protector moving things. She looked at Mo Chengyu in surprise. "Sister Chengyu, you’re going to work today?"
"I was. I was actually about to go to your place to tell you, but I didn’t expect you’d co looking for first." Mo Chengyu was wearing a long, khaki-colored coat today. She reached out and stroked Jiang Qiuqiu’s head. "I just got an urgent dispatch. I have to head back imdiately."
"Even though I won’t be living next door anymore, I’ll log on to the Star Network every day to watch you. Our Qiuqiu is going to be number one, for sure!"
By the ti she and Mo Chengyu had finished chatting, everything was already packed up.
As she was leaving, Mo Chengyu looked at Jiang Qiuqiu standing by the villa entrance. The mont before she boarded the cha, with lightning speed, she wrapped an arm around Jiang Qiuqiu’s shoulders and planted a kiss on her cheek. Then, as Jiang Qiuqiu stared in astonishnt, she strode briskly up into the cha.
"Qiuqiu, see you next ti!! If you miss , make sure to call!"
"Black Hole will be back in a few days!"
The chas were incredibly fast. The words had barely faded when they shrank to tiny dots and vanished from Jiang Qiuqiu’s sight.
...
That evening, Jiang Qiuqiu didn’t cook a savory al. Instead, she chose to make a dessert: Rock Sugar and Pear Soup.
Today was a day for parting.
Far away on Thirteen Stars, Mo Si, who had rushed over for a military conference, caught the stream during a break and frowned.
Mo Chengyu had sent him a ssage earlier that day. She’d said sothing urgent had co up at the military research institute, and Director Zhang had summoned her back. With her gone, Starry Sky Wander was empty, aning Jiang Qiuqiu would probably be living there all by herself. Mo Chengyu had told him to hurry back as soon as he could.
’Damn it,’ he thought. ’How could he possibly find the ti now?’
