Jiang Qiuqiu’s current livestream replication rights allowed for five million copies of each item. With 50 oysters, that ant 250 million people could have a taste.

million sounded like a lot, but in Jiang Qiuqiu’s stream, it was nowhere near enough for everyone trying to get a taste.

The live comnts quickly fell silent. Veteran fans started snapping up the oysters, while the new fans headed to the showcase. The assistant robot listed a new batch almost every two seconds, but the viewers in the stream were even faster, clearing them out in less than a second.

Those who managed to get one cheered in the live comnts. It was ti for Jiang Qiuqiu to handle the aftermath. Seeing that the listings were almost all up, she crouched down and continued to stuff firestones into the grill.

The firestones were incredibly hot. On a winter day, they brought not only warmth but also a stifling heat.

Jiang Qiuqiu braced herself against the grill. After finally managing to stuff in enough firestones, she went to stand up, but her head suddenly drooped. She jolted, the shock clearing her head a little.

’Looks like I’ll have to go to the hospital after today.’

’Maybe I’ll have to start taking Spirit Nourishing Liquid too.’

As she stood up, the overpowering aroma of the oysters filled her senses. Jiang Qiuqiu suddenly felt a pang of hunger. She moved to the right of the robot, out of the cara’s view, and ate a few oysters herself to regain so energy.

A group of new fans waited in the showcase for a minute or two. Seeing no activity at all, they started to wonder, ’What gives? What’s going on? Why aren’t they adding anything—’

Curiosity drove them back to the stream to see what was going on. They hadn’t even finished typing their questions when a huge "Claim" button flashed on screen, drawing them in. They instinctively reached out to tap it, but they were too late. All the portions had already been given out.

The scene changed, and the second round of oyster grilling had begun.

The new fans: [???]

If they didn’t realize they’d been had by this point, they’d have to be fools.

[You veteran fans! You tricked us into leaving just so you could get a spot! Was that really necessary?]

[Kind of, yeah. I was desperate to have so, and we wouldn’t have stood a chance with you guys around.]

[?? That’s so shady of you!]

Seeing the new fans were getting a little angry, the veterans quickly chid in to explain: [Whoa, calm down, calm down. In Juju’s stream, it’s one portion per ID. We got ours this round, so the next one is all yours. No hard feelings, we just really wanted the first taste~]

[...You lied over sothing so trivial! Was that really necessary?!]

[It was.]

The flood of replies saying it was worth it was overwhelming. It couldn’t help but make one wonder with even more curiosity, ’Just how good could this be?’

There was no comntary for the second batch like there had been for the first. Jiang Qiuqiu was starting to feel dizzy. Her terminal buzzed lightly, and a ssage from ii projected onto the wall, outside the livestream fra.

ii: Qiuqiu, are you sick? The data from this stream is in, and your follower growth and activity are excellent! Coins and likes are way ahead of the curve, too. You’re amazing.

Jiang Qiuqiu didn’t reply. Instead, she started brushing the sauce onto the oysters.

Every second seed to stretch on.

anwhile, Mo Si, who had hurried back to Federation Star, also started watching the stream.

It was the first ti he’d missed the beginning of her stream since he started watching. The journey from the Thirteen Stars required crossing the teorite Star System, where the bizarre magnetic fields had prevented him from activating his terminal.

It was still the familiar view of half her face. A faint smile touched Mo Si’s eyes, but it quickly froze. He paused, turned on the large holoscreen in his office, closed the door, and projected Jiang Qiuqiu’s stream onto the massive display.

Then he noticed that Jiang Qiuqiu’s hand was shaking.

It was a very slight tremor, but still... it had never happened before.

’What’s wrong?’
