When the projection cut to Jiang Qiuqiu collapsed on the floor, Mo Si’s heart stopped for an instant. He shot to his feet, and in the span of a single breath, he was out of the office.
Because his spiritual power was circulating so rapidly, a thin layer of fine, white fur appeared along his ears and cheeks as he moved.
The Teleportation cha from 13 Star happened to still be there, so Mo Si leaped into the cha, started it up, and sped off toward Starry Sky Wander.
The Teleportation cha was incredibly fast, and with Mo Si pushing it to its absolute limit, the silver-white cha practically beca a streak of light.

The Teleportation cha stopped right beside Mo Chengyu’s villa. Mo Si put on his mask and ran straight into Jiang Qiuqiu’s ho.
He spotted Jiang Qiuqiu on the floor the mont he entered. The ground was ice-cold, and she wasn’t dressed warmly. Mo Si quickly went to her side, crouched down, and gently patted her cheek.
There was no response.
He lowered his voice, lacing it with a wisp of spiritual power as he called out Jiang Qiuqiu’s na.
"Qiuqiu, Qiuqiu, are you okay?"
There was still no response. His expression darkened as he scooped Jiang Qiuqiu into his arms. Then, Mo Si closed his eyes.
He tried to connect with Jiang Qiuqiu’s spiritual power, but his spiritual tendrils t only emptiness; he couldn’t feel anything. Mo Si paused, opened his eyes, and lowered his head, pressing his forehead against Jiang Qiuqiu’s.
Her skin was cool to the touch. He tried to channel his spiritual power and enter Jiang Qiuqiu’s Spirit Sea, but he couldn’t sense a thing.

Mo Si carried Jiang Qiuqiu straight out of the courtyard and ran toward a house in the southeastern part of Starry Sky Wander.
He was gone, but the live stream chat had exploded into an uproar.
"Who was that voice just now?"
"Is that a family mber? Didn’t the admin just say they’d called for dics? Why haven’t they arrived yet?"

Little President Qian grunted, slamd his hand on the console, and the hovercar accelerated again. In the distance, from their high altitude, they could finally see the residential complex.
When Mo Si pushed open the gate to the small southeastern courtyard while carrying Jiang Qiuqiu, an old woman was in the middle of fishing.
In the courtyard was a huge transparent fish tank, half-full of water, containing a dozen or so pretty, colorful little fish. When the old woman got bored, she could watch the fish or try to catch them with a bit of bait—not for any particular reason, just for fun.
After all, she had spent so many years on the front lines, weathering every storm. Now, she just wanted to live a peaceful, comfortable life.
Then today, a tall young man suddenly burst into her courtyard carrying a young woman, just like a scene out of a movie.
She stood up from her rocking chair and asked with a hint of curiosity, "Well now, is there sothing I can help you with, young man?"
"Mrs. Ai’er, I’ve co to ask for your help." Mo Si looked up. When Mrs. Ai’er saw his face, her expression turned to one of shock and disbelief. "You... you’re Little Mo?"
"It’s ."
"...Alright, then. What kind of help? What’s wrong with this girl?"
"I can’t be certain, but it might be that her Sea of Spirit Power has collapsed."
The mont she heard "Sea of Spirit Power collapsed," Mrs. Ai’er nearly leaped to her feet. "Then what are you waiting for? Hurry and bring her inside!"
A person’s Spirit Sea was like a second brain. If it collapsed, the best-case scenario was losing one’s Spirit Sea forever. The worst-case scenario? They would beco a mindless simpleton!
