Now reading: Chapter 332 - 331: You Didn’t Lose Unjustly from Her Food Livestream Broke the Galaxy, a Sci-fi novel by Xiang Weixun.

It’s snowing today had never had such an agonizing ti making atballs.

In theory, with so many new fans in her stream, she should have been talking more to engage them and poach so viewers from her PK opponent.

But no matter what she said, the comnt feed was completely dead. It was so quiet it made her feel like the number in the top-right corner was fake and there weren’t actually that many people there.

Lost in endless self-doubt and embarrassnt, she finally finished poaching the atballs. She quickly plated them, drizzled on so honey and other seasonings, and had her butler robot begin uploading the food while she turned to the cara and started her introduction.

’Even if no one responds, I can’t get discouraged. This is a dish I worked so hard to develop. It’s impossible for no one to like it.’

"These are atballs made from the Gugu Beast at announced by the Agricultural Research Center. I used honey and other seasonings, minced the at, ford it into balls, and then poached them to fill them with the aroma of honey and..."

As she was speaking, the robot finished uploading all 20 portions, and the claim link instantly appeared on screen.

Hundreds of millions of people clicked the claim link in an instant. The sheer number of people even caused the entire stream to lag for a mont.

It’s snowing today had never encountered a situation like this. A thought flashed through her mind: ’Is this the kind of trouble the top strears have to deal with?’ But she didn’t even have five seconds to enjoy that thought before the viewer count in the top-right corner started dropping like a the park ride, plumting down, down, down at a visible rate.

In less than a minute, the viewer count fell from 700 million to 300 million. The drastic drop threw It’s snowing today’s thoughts into chaos, and she didn’t know how to string her words together, but she forced herself to say a few things anyway.

Three minutes later, the number of viewers in her stream returned to around its usual level.

One hundred and fifty million people.

She understood. The fans who belonged to the other stream were gone.

Sadness enveloped the female chef. She carried her atballs to the dining table, sat down, and started talking with her own fans while she ate. She speared a atball, took a bite, her eyes red and glistening. "You all went over to the other stream to get food today, didn’t you?"

"Every single one of you?"

"Is it only my fans left in the stream now?"

"Is that right?"

She asked several tis in a row.

This pitiful display made the hearts of everyone in her core fan group, young and old, clench with worry.

—Our Xuexue is so pitiful.

—So, are we still going to firmly cast our votes for Xuexue?

—What else would we do?

—Ah, but if we do this, won’t we vote the other strear out? Then she’ll be eliminated, and she won’t have a next round.

—...

—?? Are you... kidding?

Soone in the group chat dropped a screenshot. The opponent had over 600 million viewers, while their side had just over 100 million, and so of those had even defected.

"Do I have no hope of winning? Not even a little bit?"

[You do! Xuexue, you might, possibly, have a teeny-tiny hope of achieving a sliver of a victory!]

[Yes, yes! It’s a tiny bit possible!]

Waiting for everyone’s replies, It’s snowing today almost coughed up blood when she saw these comnts. Her eyes were red. "What are you guys trying to say? Is her cooking that much better than mine?"

[Umm...]

[Not *that* much better, just a little bit.]

[Yeah, yeah, just a little bit.]

Tears welled up in the eyes of the little Princess, who had never felt so wronged in her life.

This group of people said one thing but did another. After It’s snowing today’s food sharing ti ended, the voting closed, and she lost the PK battle, they spamd her stream with two ’Spaceship’ gift sets.

[Okay, okay, don’t be sad!]

[We live to fight another day! A loss is just a loss. You’re still our Food-Zone’s little Princess!]

[As long as you’re here, Xuexue, we’ll always love you!]

Many more comnts scrolled across the screen. With tears still on her face, she bowed and finally said goodbye to everyone.
