The PK competition in the Federation Live Broadcast Company’s food zone had reached its final stage.
After Mo Si left for an inspection tour of Polar Planet, Jiang Qiuqiu went through several more PK rounds. Unquestionably, she took first place every single ti.
As she advanced, so people in the food streaming community started calling her ’Vampire’. It ant that any strear who competed against her would have their viewership drained, as their less-loyal fans would switch allegiances in an instant.
It was a classic case of sacrificing one’s own forces to strengthen the enemy, a tragedy that brought tears to the eyes of all who witnessed it.
Tonight, Jiang Qiuqiu won the penultimate PK match. Amid a flood of celebratory comnts from her fans, she ended the stream.
About three to five minutes later, a call ca through from Sister ii, right on cue, to congratulate her.
"Tomorrow’s the last PK match."
Only two people in the Food Zone still had a perfect PK record: Jiang Qiuqiu and Wang Henli.
So tomorrow, Jiang Qiuqiu and Wang Henli would face off for the title of the Food Zone’s number one strear.
Jiang Qiuqiu was very confident in herself.
ii was just as confident, though she was curious. "Wang Henli’s reputation and fanbase have been steadily declining for a while now. I thought he’d be knocked out before the top five; I never expected him to make it to the final round."

"It’s not that surprising." Jiang Qiuqiu had tried Wang Henli’s cooking once; it was actually pretty good. "The new PK rules require fans to sample dishes from both sides, so of course so people chose his."
Besides, Jiang Qiuqiu had noticed how incredibly hard he’d been working lately. She wasn’t sure what had provoked him, but he was acting like he was on stimulants every day, making three dishes per stream. He looked completely worn out, as if he had staked everything on winning.
During a stream, no one can see his true character; they only know that the food is good. In that context, it wasn’t particularly surprising that he received winning votes.
"So, about you and him tomorrow—"
"I’ll win." She could give him credit, but Jiang Qiuqiu had absolute confidence that she could defeat him. "I’m going to take first place."
"Alright!" A man’s voice cut in. "Qiuqiu! I believe in you!"
"The top spot in the zone is waiting for you!" Little President Qian’s voice was also bright and cheerful.
The strears he’d scouted from various categories were all performing well in the recent inter-zone PKs, so it felt like he had won a grand slam. He was in a great mood every day.
Hearing his voice, Jiang Qiuqiu replied teasingly, "Maybe you can even look forward to taking first place overall!"
"That’ll be tough." Little President Qian was a pragmatic man. "But Qiuqiu, you’ve been working miracles ever since you started. Maybe you really can do it!"
Jiang Qiuqiu smiled but didn’t reply.
They chatted about a few other things before ending the call.
’She really did want to aim for first place overall. The very reason she wanted it so badly was because no strear from the Food Zone had ever won it before.’

A number of dishes that would give her an overwhelming advantage flashed through Jiang Qiuqiu’s mind.
’She didn’t just want to win; she wanted to crush him.’
