Now reading: Chapter 418 - 437: A Wise Retreat, and a Scrumptious New Yea from Her Food Livestream Broke the Galaxy, a Sci-fi novel by Xiang Weixun.

This livestream was a great success.

After Jiang Qiuqiu’s livestream ended, the tofu stalls on every planet quickly sold out. Fortunately, because the livestream diverted so of the traffic, the crowds weren’t as large as expected.

In the end, they just barely managed to serve everyone who had been waiting in the long lines.

Those who didn’t get any were understanding after the staff explained the situation.

A potential crisis was peacefully averted.

Moreover, Jiang Qiuqiu had seized the opportunity to livestream at the peak of the hype, and the mont it ended, discussion about it exploded.

Every half hour, Wanxing would post a ssage in the operations group chat. The number of new mbers in the fan clubs on every planet was skyrocketing.

Only now were they truly reaping the rewards of the increased traffic.

Newcors who had tasted Jiang Qiuqiu’s food started promoting her in all sorts of discussion threads.

—I really want to know what kind of food made Professor Xiao Liu co back after leaving. He’s such a tsundere.

[Stop wondering! Just co and try it! It’s seriously so good!]

—Who’s this strear? She seems really interesting.

[It’s Jiang Jiujiu! Jiang Jiujiu from Federation Livestream! She’s really great—her food is delicious and she’s beautiful, too.]

—I feel like I’ve seen her on the hot search list a few tis recently.

[Yeah, I saw her a few tis but never clicked. I feel like I totally missed out! This girl has more than enough talent to be trending!]

Wave after wave of fervent recomndations started pouring in.

They were all genuine fans, but it looked like a coordinated campaign by a paid army of shills.

As the hype grew more and more intense, Wanxing asked if the fan club should make a statent to boost the popularity even further, but Jiang Qiuqiu refused.

"Staying on the hot search list for too long will make people think it’s all just aggressive marketing."

"This is enough for now. My fanbase will probably grow a bit more from this, and this whole plan has certainly brought a lot of pleasant surprises."

"That’s right, Qiuqiu is correct. Not only should we keep a low profile now, but we also need to cool down the hype," ii said after looking over the data analysis report from the operations departnt. "With so many new fans at once, our priority is to consolidate the fanbase."

"A single loyal fan is more useful than a hundred casual followers."

The other two quickly agreed. Speaking of loyal fans, Jiang Qiuqiu rembered her own plan. "Xiao Wan, do you have a list of the fans who participated in the surprise plan?"

"I do." She was always thorough; she had lists of those who donated and those who helped out saved in a spreadsheet. "I was thinking of posting a thank you ssage after the event."

She had seen other marketing campaigns send out commorative gifts and had originally planned to request funds from the company for it.

However, Sister Mingi had also provided a budget, which was enough for the gifts.

"You all worked hard planning this event. I have an idea."

"Hm?"

"I rember that after my channel was upgraded to a Great God-level stream, there were so features I still haven’t used. And with the New Year just over twenty days away..."

"I want to invite the fans who participated in the event to have New Year’s Eve dinner with in a virtual room."

She would upload the food data into the virtual room, set the room to look like a restaurant, and participants could then use high-end terminals or holographic pods to enter and enjoy the al.

Food tasted this way would have a much more delicate and nuanced flavor.

"Qiuqiu, that’s a great idea, but... but you need a high-end terminal for that. A lot of the fans who participated don’t have one."

Most of the people who helped out are students. Unless their families are rich, it’s hard to afford a high-end terminal at their age on their own.

"I know. That’s why I’m going to offer three spots. Each winning fan can bring two of their own friends or family mbers to join the New Year’s Eve dinner."
