After a long, leisurely stroll outside, she returned to find it was nearly ten o’clock.
Mo Chengyu pressed her ear to the wall again. Hearing nothing, she pushed the door open to find only her older brother sitting in the living room.
"Brother, how co you’re the only one here? Has Qiuqiu gone back?"
"A delivery robot arrived, so she went back to get her things."
"Oh, I see." Mo Chengyu grinned. "So, how did your chat go today? Did you have a good ti?"
"Why are you prying? And don’t change the subject. Get over here." He pointed to the sofa opposite him. "Co here. Sit."
Mo Chengyu sat down reluctantly.
"What were you talking to Qiuqiu about when I wasn’t here today?"
"’Handso guys’? ’Liking’ people? Who’s ’easy on the eyes’?" At that mont, Mo Si was the picture of stern righteousness. "How old is she? And you’re talking to her about that?"
"..."
"What? Brother, you’re such an old fogey. Qiuqiu is already 20, what’s wrong with talking about this stuff?" Mo Chengyu scoffed. Despite her disdainful look, a hint of a smile flashed in her eyes. "Don’t you ever watch the news?"
"These days, 20-year-old girls in college aren’t just checking out handso guys—so of them are dating, and so are even married, you know!"
"Just looking at a handso guy? That’s the bare minimum."
’Dating? Marriage? Wait...’
’What is all this nonsense?’ Mo Si collected himself, but his tone remained serious. "That applies to other people, not Qiuqiu. In any case, don’t talk about these things in front of her again."
"Fine, fine. Then let’s not talk about other people. How about we talk about you?"
’Talk about ?’ A flicker of astonishnt crossed Mo Si’s eyes. "You two even talked about ?"
"Yep." Mo Chengyu and Jiang Qiuqiu had indeed discussed Mo Si’s looks once. "She said you’re handso."
In that instant, Mo Chengyu swore she saw a fleeting smile on her older brother’s face.
But to maintain his dignity as the big brother, he quickly reined in that smile. His expression could be controlled, but the joy in his eyes was hard to conceal. And so, in Mo Chengyu’s eyes, this was what Mo Si looked like:
’I really want to smile, but I must. Not. Smile!’
’Serious face, smiling eyes.’
’Resist!’

Mo Chengyu was quickly amused as well, but she couldn’t laugh either, because Mo Si would punish her if she did. So, this was what she was like:
’Hahaha, this is so funny.’
’I can’t. I’ll get in trouble if I laugh.’
’Resist!’
And so, the bystander Zuo Kai, who was standing off to the side, could only think: ’Why can’t they just laugh?!’

When Jiang Qiuqiu got ho, she checked the ingredients delivered by the robot before unloading them.

She opened the thermostatic container to find not much food left inside. Between the real-world shipnts and various prize giveaways, she could no longer store a lot of surplus food from her livestreams.
Most of it was just breakfast she’d made for herself and things like that. With no prepped ingredients, it ant all the dishes for lunch today would have to be made from scratch.

Given that the four of them were all big eaters, Jiang Qiuqiu decided to make six dishes, one soup, and one dessert.
