The community was the sa as always today.
The topics were full of people, but the popular posts were still the sa old ones.
To trend, a post had to be either delicious or bizarre.
At the top of the list was an incredibly lavish video. It was a wide-angle shot with extrely clear image quality, using a sensor that was the best money could buy.
But the real kicker was:
[One look and you know: that kitchen is bigger than my house]
[It has everything, but no logos. And as we all know, no logo ans it’s a super-premium brand.]
[I’m here, I’m here! Back again to ship the gorgeous CP of the young miss and the chef!]
Crucially, the video ca with scent and sound.
"What are you planning to make today?"
"Young Miss, today I’ll be making the cabbage and stir-fried pork from the livestream."
[The butler’s voice is amazing]
[The young miss looks so elegant]
The video didn’t show everything, so you couldn’t see either of them clearly. But the young miss’s dress was clearly no ordinary garnt. The chef was only seen from behind, but he had a tall, slender build—broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and long legs. With a voice that pleasant, he had to be handso, too.
The perfect staging, the well-matched leads, and the occasional lines like:
"As long as you like it, Miss."
"I’ll do as you say, Miss."
The Young Miss x Chef CP! They made their debut right then and there in Jiang Qiuqiu’s foodie community!
Since post popularity sotis gave you better odds in the prize drawings, i Lin had gotten lucky and won a few tis!
This made her incredibly happy.
What’s more, the food Jiang Jiang made was actually quite good. While it couldn’t compare to Jiang Qiuqiu’s, it had its own unique flavor that captured the essence of ho cooking.
This was a pleasant surprise for the young miss. "If I’d known you were such a good cook, I wouldn’t have had you beco a butler. You would have been much better as a chef."
Hearing this, Jiang Jiang looked like he wanted to say sothing but held his tongue.
i Lin quickly added, "Then again, you’re exceptionally good at all your other duties, so you’re still better suited as a butler. Besides, a butler can cook for , too!"
"As long as you are happy, Miss."
"You cooked it, so you should sit down and eat with ," i Lin said, beckoning him over.
But Jiang Jiang didn’t move. "Miss, that would be improper."
i Lin: ?
A look of confusion crossed her face. She pointed at herself. "...You’re talking to about what’s ’improper’?"
"I *am* the rules here. Sit down!" When he still didn’t move, i Lin stood up. "What is it? Are you disobeying ?"
He finally sat down.
The young miss’s temper flared and faded quickly. "But really, what’s been up with you lately? You’re always hiding sothing, always wearing that expression."
She huffed. "What is it? Do you feel like I’m working you to death?"
"No." Jiang Jiang kept his head down. "I... I’m being sent to another planet to manage the mines for you, Miss. So..."
"Manage the mines!?" i Lin was shocked. "Is there no one else in the family? Why you? Aren’t you supposed to accompany to Federation University?"
"No, Miss. The Duke has decided to assign a new stewardess to accompany you to the university. Because the Duke holds in high regard... I am being sent to manage your dowry."
"..."
i Lin was fuming.
"He didn’t even discuss sothing this important with ?"
"The Duke tells you to do sothing and you just do it? Do you have any idea whose servant you are?" At that mont, she lost her appetite completely. She slamd her chopsticks down with a CLATTER, lifted her skirt, and stord out. "Honestly, Dad..."
"He didn’t even ask for my opinion."
She had been looking forward to going to school, a way to pass the ti, and maybe she could even run into that Jiang Qiuqiu person.
And what happens?—
Dad actually wants to transfer Jiang Jiang away.
Doesn’t he know? This is the best, most agreeable butler she’s had in years.
She left in a gust of fury. Jiang Jiang stood at the table, his eyes downcast. He moved all the dishes into the food warr.
The sunlight in the room was beautiful.
He loved Federation Star. He loved the young miss who was like the sun itself. He didn’t want to leave.
But he wouldn’t be a moth drawn to a fla.
’He just wanted to stay near the warmth of the fire.’
