Dahlia and the others stared up at the massive [Forest Guardian], their mouths slightly open.
The giant golem lood over the arena, shaking it with every step.
Arden rubbed the back of his head nervously, whirling, turning toward Gaiorn.
"Uh... Master, what if that thing is our opponent? What would we even do? We can’t just punch and kick it, right?"
Dahlia nodded quickly.
"Yeah, and we can’t put that thing in an armbar either."
Clara folded her arms, frowning.
"Even if we tried, I think it’ll just catch us and use us as toothpicks."
Garion crossed his arms, thinking of a mont before turning to them.
"Hmm... if it were , I’d just fight it slowly. Its body is made from wood and vines, right? We could just break its legs first, then work our way up."
Arden blinked. "You an like... tree-cutting?"
Garion shrugged. "Exactly. Just a very violent version of it."
Eliza sighed sadly. "That’s... a terryging simple plan, master."
Garion laughed.
"Well... we can also do sothing more interesting... maybe coming up with a new technique just for giant enemies."
Dahlia tilted her head, grinning. "You an like Raviel’s [Flaming Storm Greatsword]?"
Garion nodded. "Yeah, sothing like that. Raviel used his mana to create a greatsword, then for us..."
He tapped his chest, smirking. "We can just use the arm to make a projection of a giant fist or a giant leg."
Arden’s eyes lit up. "Wait, a giant maa fist? That actually sounds aweso."
Clara grinned. "I call dibs on trying it first!"
Garion smirked, cracking his knuckles.
"Then get ready, because after this fight’s over, we’re making it real."
The disciples exchanged excited looks while, above them, the real fight raged on.
---
Raviel looked up at the towering [Forest Guardian] and smirked.
"To think that you have this kind of spell. To summon this kind of golem... It’s not an easy feat."
Aveline raised her chin proudly.
"Of course I do. Who do you think I am? I’m the Matriarch of the Avenora Clan."
Raviel tightened his grip on his greatsword and smirked.
"Then let show you the power of the Patriarch of the Revalis clan, then."
Raviel raised his [Flaming Storm Greatsword] and with his mana, it began to swell, growing larger than before.
With a sharp breath, Raviel stepped forward and swung it mightily toward the golem.
A booming sound split the air s the blade cut straight through the guardian’s arm in a single, clean strike.
Wood and vines blasted apart, scattering across the arena.
Raviel straightened, a cocky grin spreading across his face.
"Is that all there is?"
Aveline didn’t flinch. Instead, she just laughed, amused by what Raviel had done.
Raviel’s grin slowly faded.
"What’s so funny..."
Before he could say anything...
Right before his eyes, the severed arm sprouted fresh skin and regrew in seconds.
Raviel stared, eyes wide.
"What the hell?!"
Aveline folded her arms, grinning.
"Don’t tell you forgot where you’re standing. This entire place is filled with pure nature mana."
She pointed at the golem.
"And nature grows and heals. So my [Forest Guardian] does the sa."
She snapped her fingers. "Hit him."
The massive golem swung its trunk-like arm forward.
Raviel brought his greatsword up just in ti, blocking the punch...
But the impact still sent him hard to the ground.
Dust appeared everywhere as he crashed, rolling across the arena.
Dahlia winced. "Oof... that looked painful."
Raviel pushed himself back to his feet, wiping blood from the corner of his lip.
Instead of fear, he was grinning.
"Hah... that’s a good one. That golem is powerful."
Aveline smiled back, eyes sharp.
"You too. You’ve changed a lot. Usually, soone in the early third realm wouldn’t stand up again after that hit."
She glanced toward Garion.
"It seems that you really have truly reshaped Raviel’s body."
Garion raised a thumb, grinning. "Of course I did. Didn’t I tell you that already?"
He then turned to Raviel. "And Raviel... don’t you dare lose."
Raviel let out a short laugh. "I won’t."
He turned back to Aveline, rolling his shoulder as flas crackled around him.
"Aveline, let ask sothing. This [Forest Guardian]... is it your ultimate spell?"
Aveline nodded, calm and confident.
"Indeed. This can only be summoned inside my domain. Here, it is practically unbeatable."
Raviel smirked. "So if I destroy it... Will you admit defeat?"
Aveline shrugged. "If you can destroy it, then yes."
Raviel smirked, tightening his grip on his sword. "Good. Then let’s end this with one final hit."
He roared as flas and thunder burst around him, the pressure shaking the air.
Aveline quickly raised her hand. "Guardian, stop him before he finishes that attack!"
The massive golem charged, its footsteps shaking the arena.
But Raviel only smirked.
"Too late."
He shot into the sky, flying so fast that Aveline’s eyes widened.
"What?! What’s with that speed?"
High above the arena, red and yellow mana burst around Raviel.
His aura twisted, wrapped, and spiraled until it ford the shape of a massive flaming-thunder greatsword, with Raviel standing at the core of it.
He angled himself downward, gripping the air as if holding the hilt of the giant weapon.
"Take this! [Flaming Storm Greatsword - Ultimate Kick]!"
Raviel shot down like a falling star, the flaming greatsword aura tearing through the sky as it crashed straight toward the guardian below.
Garion smirked widely as he watched Raviel’s new move tear through the sky.
"Tsk... look at that. He actually made a new spell on his own."
He folded his arms, pride slipping into his grin. "This is... fucking great."
Arden nodded quickly, eyes glued to the scene.
"Yeah. If Patriarch Raviel can do that, then this must be what we need to work on next."
Dahlia leaned forward, excitent flashing across her face.
"Right. But instead of a greatsword, we can change it into sothing else."
Clara pumped her fist. "A huge fist!"
Eliza added calmly. "Or a huge kick."
The disciples smirked in unison, eyes sparkling as Raviel’s ultimate attack crashed down.
