The second round finally ended after several more matches.

Just like before, the tournant staff quickly prepared the next random draw for the third round.

Only sixteen participants remained now.

Dahlia and Rovak both arrived at the drawing area almost at the sa ti.

The mont they saw each other, their eyes lit up.

Rovak grinned. "Hahaha! Maybe this ti."

Dahlia cracked her knuckles. "Yeah. Let’s see if luck wants us to fight."

The tournant staff activated the floating crystal box.

One by one, the remaining participants stepped forward and drew their numbers.

Dahlia reached in first, and soon, a glowing number appeared above her hand.

[Number 3]

Rovak imdiately stepped forward excitedly and drew his number.

Soon, it appeared above his hand as well.

[Number 8]

For a second, both of them stared silently at the numbers.

Dahlia clenched her fingers. "This ti, we’re still not a match. Damn it."

Rovak sighed dramatically. "Damn. The tournant is teasing ."

Dahlia smirked. "Survive longer then."

Rovak grinned back. "Sa to you."

Their third-round opponents were not famous nas.

Dahlia’s opponent was a lucky participant who had won earlier because his previous enemy had been badly injured from the first round.

Rovak’s opponent was similar. He had decent skill, but compared to Rovak’s brute strength, he lacked real pressure.

Because of that, the third round passed quickly for both of them.

Now, only eight participants remained.

It was ti for the quarterfinals.

This ti, the atmosphere changed. There were no more lucky weaklings left.

Every fighter who remained had already proven themselves strong, and when the new draw began, Dahlia and Rovak stood together again.

Rovak grinned. "Quarterfinals. Maybe now?"

Dahlia smiled. "Maybe."

But after the numbers appeared, they still did not match.

Dahlia drew [Number 2].

Rovak drew [Number 4].

Dahlia raised an eyebrow. "Still not."

Rovak laughed. "Good. Then we can both crush soone else first."

The match list soon appeared on the giant screen.

[Quarterfinal Match]

[Dahlia Draconia]

[Representative: God Gym]

[VS]

[Seraphine Vale]

[Spirit Wing Race]

The crowd erupted.

"Dahlia is fighting Seraphine?!"

"That’s one of the favorites!"

"Spirit Wing Race against God Gym’s dragon!"

Dahlia looked at the screen and grinned. "Oh? The flying one."

anwhile, Rovak’s match also appeared.

[Quarterfinal Match]

[Rovak]

[Drakhor Race]

[VS]

[Kaldren Mourn]

[Bone Demon Race]

Rovak’s grin widened. "The creepy bone guy, huh?"

Inside the private viewing room, Garion leaned forward with interest. "Hahaha... now this is more like it."

Slifera nodded seriously. "Both of them are fighting favorites this ti."

Elisa’s eyes narrowed slightly. "From this point onward, easy victories are over."

Dahlia stared at Seraphine’s na on the screen, her grin slowly turning dangerous. "Good."

Rovak cracked his knuckles beside her. "Very good."

Both of them spoke almost at the sa ti. "Now it’s finally getting interesting."

---

Before the quarterfinals began, Dahlia and Rovak returned to Garion’s private viewing room.

Since Dahlia’s match was the second match and Rovak’s was the fourth, neither of them needed to wait inside the participant hall yet.

Instead, they chose to watch the first match together.

Inside the room, Garion leaned back on the sofa while Dahlia stood near the screen with her arms crossed.

Rovak sat nearby, still looking excited despite his upcoming fight.

Slifera, Elisa, and Alira were also watching quietly.

Soon, the giant holographic screen lit up.

[Quarterfinals - First Match]

[Kaelvar Ignis]

[Dragon Race]

[VS]

[Mournel Vax]

[Dark Shell Race]

The mont the first fighter stepped into the arena, Dahlia’s eyes narrowed slightly.

He was tall, with crimson scales along his arms, sharp golden eyes, and two curved red horns growing from his forehead.

His aura was hot and violent, making the air around him shimr faintly.

Garion noticed Dahlia’s reaction. "What is it?"

Dahlia stared at the screen carefully. "That guy..."

Her dragon aura stirred faintly. "He’s also a dragon."

Rovak raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You can sense that?"

Dahlia nodded slowly. "Yeah. His bloodline feels different from mine, but it’s definitely dragon blood."

Elisa looked at the screen and explained calmly, "Kaelvar Ignis. He’s one of the favorites too."

Slifera crossed his arms. "Of course he’s a dragon. It’s already written on the screen."

Garion blinked and looked at the holographic display again.

[Kaelvar Ignis]

[Dragon Race]

Garion rubbed the back of his head. "Oh."

Dahlia also stared at the screen for a mont before coughing lightly. "Well... we didn’t really watch the matches these past few days."

Slifera’s mouth twitched. "Clearly."

Elisa smiled faintly before continuing, "From what I heard, he cos from a fire dragon branch."

Slifera nodded. "He’s arrogant, but unlike Veyrion, he actually keeps quiet unless soone challenges him."

Garion rubbed his chin with interest. "No wonder he looks strong."

Dahlia’s grin slowly widened as she stared at Kaelvar’s figure. "A fire dragon, huh..."

The match began.

Mournel Vax, the Dark Shell Race fighter, imdiately covered his body with thick black armor-like energy.

His defense looked incredibly solid, almost like a moving fortress.

But Kaelvar only stood still.

Then he opened his mouth slightly.

A small crimson fla began to gather inside his mouth, and in the next mont...

BOOOOOOM!!!

A dragon fla breath erupted across the arena, crashing into the black defensive shell and lting it almost imdiately.

Mournel tried to retreat, but Kaelvar had already appeared in front of him, slamming his claws forward.

[Crimson Dragon Claw]

BANG!!!

Mournel’s heavy defensive body was blasted across the arena and crashed into the barrier.

The entire match ended in less than a minute, and the crowd quickly exploded with excitent.

"Kaelvar won!"

"That firepower is insane!"

"He really deserves to be one of the favorites!"

Dahlia watched silently for a mont before grinning. "Oh..."

Garion looked at her and laughed. "Interested?"

Dahlia cracked her knuckles softly. "Of course."

Her eyes shone with excitent as she stared at Kaelvar’s figure on the screen. "It’s been a while since I fought another dragon."

Rovak grinned. "Hahaha! Looks like the tournant is getting better already."

Garion leaned forward, smiling wider. "Good."

He stared at Kaelvar’s figure on the screen. "Let’s see how many monsters this tournant still has."
