Huang Yi and Barbarian Saint, the two leaders of their respective factions, quickly clashed in the Void Battlefield!
Facing the Barbarian Saint, Huang Yi’s strength reverted to its original level, no longer as formidable as when dealing with the Baron of Hell.
During their initial exchanges, the two were evenly matched, with no clear advantage for either side.
"God of Slaughter, your speed of progress is truly frightening," the Barbarian Saint said in a deep voice while fighting. "A long ti ago, when I first t you on Hero’s Continent, you were just a weak mortal whom I could crush with a finger. Yesterday, on our second eting, you had advanced to a level just a step away from the Ascension Stage, yet I could still kill you effortlessly. Just a day later, on our third encounter, you are now able to fight on equal terms. I’ve never t anyone like you in my life, and though you are a mortal enemy, to so extent, your hatred runs so deep that I actually admire you."
Huang Yi chuckled and spoke leisurely, "It’s hard for to imagine how we were unrelated people but have co to this life-and-death situation step by step. Looking back, it all started because of sothing very small when I first ca to this world, powerless. One night, three Heaven-Sent individuals from the Half-Beastn Clan hard my family. I still rember their nas: ’Chen Yuxi,’ ’Skull,’ and ’Icy Greatsword,’ three ordinary and unremarkable half-beastn."
While exchanging blows with the Barbarian Saint, Huang Yi narrated the story as if sitting by a warm fireplace in a tavern, sharing a distant tale with audiences worldwide—
"That night, I took revenge and destroyed a small village of half-beastn. Later, I destroyed an army of the Half-Beastn Clan in Dragon City, then got involved with a half-beast tribe... As ti went on, more people got involved, and the feud between my people and the Half-Beastn Clan has beco irreversible. It’s truly lantable. The Half-Beastn Clan has thrived throughout history; generations of chieftains have governed diligently; heroes have erged one after another; legends have continued to spread. You have countless citizens, with a hundred million Heaven-Sent individuals worldwide... But your strong race faces extinction today because of the insignificant decision made by those three ordinary half-beastn. That small decision destroyed everything, affecting countless people and rewriting world history."
"So, the cause was just those three insignificant half-beastn?" The Barbarian Saint laughed bitterly. "If I had known, I’d rather they hadn’t been born within the Half-Beastn Clan. But fate arranged for them to be part of my clan, a catastrophe indeed. However, I believe fate won’t be so cruel to our clan. The gifts fate sends are often wrapped in hardships, and I’ve unraveled to the last layer. As long as I kill you, I will see the gift fate has given . Our clan will surely rise again in the future."
As he spoke, the Barbarian Saint slowly raised his head to look at the sky, his distant gaze piercing infinite distances, towards the vast cosmos, contemplating with a smile, "The ti should be about right... God of Slaughter, we have been prepared for any possible scenario. Your death is an unchangeable fact; no one’s help will be useful and will only lead to their demise."
...
Far beyond the Barbarian Saint’s gaze, in the vast cosmos, Divinr Marksman Ica continued battling the Blood Demon and Heavenly Demon.
Divinr Marksman Ica repeatedly grabbed handfuls of starlight, placed them on his bow and arrow, and shot out streaks of teoric light! The dark universe space seed to have countless teor showers, rushing in all directions!
The Heavenly Demon’s figure was mysterious and unfathomable, with Magic Dragon Wings behind him allowing him to seamlessly blend with the space, unhard amidst countless arrow beams.
The Blood Demon also relied on the bloodstained elegance at his back, pouring out a monstrous Blood Sea to extinguish the flas of the teors.
On the surface, the trio seed evenly matched, but in reality, Divinr Marksman Ica was already struggling alone!
He originally thought he only needed to face the Blood Demon today but unexpectedly encountered the Heavenly Demon as well. These two new kings harbor significant amounts of Demon King’s Power; although their levels aren’t at the Demigod Stage, they possess the strength to battle demigods. If facing an injured demigod, they could possibly counter-kill.
"Puff~" At this mont, the Heavenly Demon seized an opportunity; the Magic Dragon Wings behind him fiercely swatted forward, and the ink-like energy struck Divinr Marksman Ica solidly.
Divinr Marksman Ica imdiately spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, knocked back by brute force, suffering injuries.
"Good move!" The Blood Demon shouted, his blood-colored cloak behind him abruptly wrapping around the fresh blood expelled by Divinr Marksman Ica, absorbing it internally.
Then, the Blood Demon transford into a blood shadow, charging towards Divinr Marksman Ica!
With alarm, Divinr Marksman Ica discovered that after absorbing his fresh blood, the Blood Demon’s cloak had gained a subtle restraining power. Whenever the Blood Demon approached, his own blood seed to flow backward uncontrollably, requiring imnse strength to suppress this internal blood change, leaving only part of his focus for fighting.
"Bang!" Unable to fend off the continuous attacks of the Blood Demon, Divinr Marksman Ica was again caught off guard by a sneak attack from the Heavenly Demon, sent flying backward once more, expelling another mouthful of blood.
"Heh heh, spill more blood!" The Blood Demon grinned fiercely, as his blood-red cloak yet again enveloped the blood and absorbed it.
This ti, the Blood Demon’s restraining power over Divinr Marksman Ica grew even stronger! Despite the great distance, Divinr Marksman Ica’s blood felt as if it wanted to leave his body, rushing towards the Blood Demon.
At this mont, Divinr Marksman Ica was already considering retreat. He had to admit that despite his long-standing reputation as a demigod expert, he was not a match for these two with their finished Divine Artifacts.
Seizing an opening, Divinr Marksman Ica quickly turned and dashed towards the Second World’s distant planet.
"Deputy Director, long ti no see, rember ?" Just then, a voice suddenly ca from the direction of the Second World.
At the sa ti, a familiar figure suddenly erged from the void, blocking Divinr Marksman Ica’s retreat.
"Hmm? It’s you?!" Divinr Marksman Ica exclaid in shock, staring at this new arrival.
