The gathering place is located at the headquarters of the Barbarian God Cult on the Barbarian Continent—that is, within the Barbarian God Wilderness.
The First World is a world whose land area exceeds its sea area; the continent is the main structure of this world. Among them, the Barbarian Continent is the most desolate and primitive piece of land, rarely touched by civilization.
Huang Yi and Gui Tianzhu moved at a very fast pace, reaching the Barbarian God Plains in less than half an hour.
Beneath them lay an endless prival forest, lush and dense, with hardly any gaps, making the ground unseen from the sky. The forest was filled with miasma, occasionally accompanied by the roars of beasts echoing from between the trees.
"We’re almost there, slow down!" Gui Tianzhu suddenly said, wiping the sweat off his forehead as he cast a strange glance at Huang Yi.
Huang Yi’s flying speed was far beyond his expectations; he had even secretly used a secret technique towards the end just to match Huang Yi’s pace. However, this technique couldn’t last long, and if they continued flying, he would fall behind Huang Yi, which would be quite embarrassing.
"Is this really the headquarters of the Barbarian God Cult? It doesn’t look like there’s anyone here!" Huang Yi finally slowed down his flight speed, gazing at the prival forest below, and asked in confusion.
"The teachings of the Barbarian God Cult advocate returning to primitiveness and staying away from civilization, thus their headquarters is located in this barbaric forest, and their buildings are quite simple, made casually out of stones and wood, like a primitive tribe," Gui Tianzhu explained, no longer daring to underestimate Huang Yi.
The two slowed their speed and continued to fly forward.
Countless towering trees raced below them like a massive green carpet.
At this mont, Huang Yi heard a loud cry from the distant left.
He imdiately turned to look in that direction!
Only to see, on the left horizon, a giant phoenix tree towering into the clouds, its enormous canopy resembling a giant umbrella covering the vast land.
Beside the massive phoenix tree, a divine bird was flying through the sky, its body ablaze with flas!
The divine bird’s feathers were radiant, in a myriad of colors, adorned with intricate patterns and exuding a noble aura.
The flas on its body were also multicolored, beautiful to the extre.
At this mont, the divine bird elegantly stretched its neck, basking in the fierce sunlight.
The sunlight, like streams of water, gathered onto its body, filled with a sense of divinity.
"That is... the Fire Phoenix!" Huang Yi exclaid in shock, recognizing the divine bird’s origins.
Phoenixes are a top-tier creature in the cosmos; among the Seven Archdemons, the King of Curses is, in fact, a Black Phoenix.
There are only three types of phoenixes: Black Phoenixes, Ice Phoenixes, and Fire Phoenixes. As long as it’s a Phoenix, it stands among the top in terms of power. This is unlike the Dragon Clan, which has many weaker clans. Only the Holy Giant Dragon, Golden Holy Dragon, Dark Demon Dragon, and Blood Dragon among the top-level dragon races can be compared to phoenixes.
However, the Phoenix Clan is very rare and its reproduction is even harder than that of the Dragon Clan’s, preventing it from forming groups. Like the Starry Behemoths, they haven’t beco a top cosmic race. They often exist alone; every appearance is a solitary one.
"Indeed!" Gui Tianzhu nodded, looking at the Fire Phoenix with a touch of respect, saying, "That Fire Phoenix is the guardian divine beast of the Barbarian God Temple; its strength has reached the Void God level, and due to its noble lineage and extraordinary talent, its strength is more formidable than an ordinary Void God."
"Barbarian God Temple?" Huang Yi was intrigued. He had long heard that the Barbarian God in the First World, though having undergone Divine Enthronent, left behind a divine avatar to continue guarding the First World. From the na Barbarian God Temple, it seed related to the Barbarian God, prompting him to ask, "What is the Barbarian God Temple? And where is it located?"
Gui Tianzhu’s expression suddenly turned extrely reverent, his gaze sowhat fervent as he stared at the giant phoenix tree in the distance, saying, "The Barbarian God Temple enshrines a divine avatar of Lord Barbarian God, the guardian of our First World! That Fire Phoenix was once the mount of Lord Barbarian God before his Divine Enthronent. The Barbarian God Temple is on that giant phoenix tree. However, if you rashly approach that giant phoenix tree, the Fire Phoenix will not show you any rcy."
"On that phoenix tree?" Huang Yi gazed at the enormous phoenix tree, but its branches were too dense, obscuring his view of where precisely the temple was nestled among them.
"Let’s move on! Lord Barbarian God’s divine avatar is not sothing ordinary people can see!" Gui Tianzhu said, turning around, continuing to fly forward.
Huang Yi also withdrew his gaze and followed Gui Tianzhu as they continued flying forward.
After flying for a while longer, Gui Tianzhu finally stopped, looked back at Huang Yi, and said, "Let’s go down!"
He then descended, passing through thick branches, landing on the ground beneath the forest.
After landing beneath the forest, Huang Yi clearly saw the scenery within.
The forest was exceedingly dark; vines hung down, the ground was covered with thick leaves, and the air was heavy with the sll of decay.
Looking through the dense forest toward the distance, so old wooden huts faintly appeared, and a few owls perched on the rooftops, their eyes glowing green, ominous and terrifying.
Gui Tianzhu stepped forward, walking across the fallen leaves directly towards a nearby wooden hut.
The hut was built very crudely, with green moss crawling over its wood, and the roof was covered with a thick layer of leaves as if it hadn’t been inhabited for many years.
Gui Tianzhu led Huang Yi, directly pushing the hut’s door open and walking inside.
The inside of the hut was even darker, with a statue enshrined in the center of the room.
The statue had six arms filled with bulging muscles expressing brute force.
Its visage was fierce, appearing more horrid and terrifying in the hut’s dimness, seeming like an evil deity from the barbarian tis.
However, upon seeing it, a strange smile appeared in Huang Yi’s eyes.
This statue looks exactly like the Barbarian God Simulacrum he just created!
This is precisely the statue of the Barbarian God!
Below the statue of the Barbarian God, there are ten cushions, each with a shadowy figure ditating on it.
They sat silently, not making a sound, only a silhouette was revealed in the dim light.
Among these shadowy figures, so had wings on their backs, others had skin as rough as stone, so had tentacles on their heads, and so had two heads... coming from various different races.
Each of them had an unfathomable aura, suggesting they were Void God experts!
When Gui Tianzhu led Huang Yi in through the door, all the shadowy figures opened their eyes simultaneously!
At that mont, Huang Yi instantly felt as if the air had solidified, and those gazes were like physical entities, sealing off this space, leaving him powerless to resist.
"Is this the God of Slaughter?"
"Too weak!"
"With this level of strength, how can he fight the King of Hell?"
"He can’t even withstand the aftermath of a battle; the King of Hell could kill him with a single breath!"
"Gui Tianzhu, have you beco more and more muddleheaded as you age? How could you recomnd him to participate in this action? He can’t even keep up with our flight; you’ll have to carry him to..."
For a mont, the wooden hut was filled with all sorts of mocking and sarcastic voices.
Huang Yi pressed his lips tightly together and said nothing.
"Hmph!" Gui Tianzhu snorted coldly, also saying nothing.
However, in his heart, he harbored a sense of anticipation for the show. He had personally witnessed Huang Yi’s terrifying speed earlier when they flew over, and those who mocked Huang Yi would soon be proven wrong.
At this mont, steady footsteps suddenly ca from outside the door as another person entered the wooden hut.
Huang Yi looked back.
The newcor was an indigenous, wild-looking man. He wore simple animal skin clothing, was barefoot, with bright paint sared on his face and long hair casually draped.
When the people in the room saw this man, they all closed their mouths and said nothing.
The man turned to look at Huang Yi, nodded slightly, and said, "You are the God of Slaughter, right? I am Sodoros, the Patriarch of the Cult of the Barbarian God. I’ve long heard of your na, and this ti, I invite you to join us in the action to eliminate the King of Hell’s avatar. I hope you can do your best!"
The Patriarch Sodoros spoke in a friendly manner, with much etiquette, like a gentleman from a civilized world, unlike the others in the room who were sarcastic, instantly gaining Huang Yi’s good impression.
In comparison, the others in the room, although they appeared civilized on the outside, were inwardly like uncultured barbarians. In contrast, Patriarch Sodoros, while appearing like a barbarian on the outside, was internally very cultured and polite.
"I will do my best!" Huang Yi nodded.
Sodoros turned and looked at the others in the room, saying, "Let’s go! We’re heading to Dragon Fall Valley, where there’s a strong restraining force against the Dragon Clan. Ambushing the King of Hell there will be more effective."
After saying that, he turned and walked over, then directly shot up into the sky, flying rapidly toward the west.
One by one, the people exited the wooden hut, flying from the lush forest into the sky outside.
At this mont, apart from Gui Tianzhu, the other ten Void God experts turned to glance at Huang Yi, shaking their heads with a smile.
A Two-Headed Ogre, with one head looking at Gui Tianzhu and the other at Huang Yi, sneered and said, "Gui Tianzhu, you take him yourself. I won’t wait for you."
"Yeah! Don’t make us wait too long!"
"By the ti he gets there, I’ll probably have already killed the King of Hell’s avatar!"
Everyone laughed loudly and flew rapidly toward the west, disappearing beyond the horizon in a blink, leaving only Gui Tianzhu and Huang Yi behind.
"Ancestral Elder Gui Tianzhu, you go ahead! I’ll catch up soon!" Huang Yi waved his hand at Gui Tianzhu and said.
"Alright!" Gui Tianzhu didn’t stand on ceremony and flew towards the west at the fastest speed.
Huang Yi gazed in the direction they left, raising a corner of his mouth, gently flapping the Wings of the Sun Chaser behind him.
