Now reading: Chapter 1394 - 1324: The End of the Sky Ladder from Heroes' Prison, a Game novel by Huang Huayi.

In the Void Dinsion, there are certain restrictions, making it less agile than the normal dinsion, so Yun chose to exit the Void Dinsion.

Suddenly, everyone beyond the distant red line, as well as viewers from around the world, saw Yun’s figure once again.

Appearing with him were his three Divine Domain companions: Barbarian God Simulacrum, Greedy Demon Body, and Little Dragon.

His teammates cheered for him in the team channel, while viewers from all over the world focused on the live broadcast, cheering for him.

But from start to finish, they were unaware of the mysterious woman’s existence, thinking Yun had single-handedly killed the Spirit Demon.

Among a billion players, who knows how many such mysterious experts remain hidden, possessing unheard-of abilities. They have never made an appearance before, and are only encountered through rare coincidence.

Yun couldn’t even be sure if the Heavenly Demon was truly the world’s top expert, or if there were even more powerful hidden experts yet to erge.

Yun waved his hand and retracted his three companions. The Sky Ladder was constantly battered by the Heavenly Wind; the divine power of those three was precious and couldn’t be wasted on the journey like Yun, who had a Broken Divinity as a source of divine power.

Next, Yun continued his full-force climb up the Sky Ladder, to catch up with the Heavenly Demon.

At that mont, the Heavenly Demon was already two-thirds up the Sky Ladder. He had just learned that the Spirit Demon was killed by Yun, filling him with shock and anger. He knew the Spirit Demon’s power well; defeating him wouldn’t be easy even for himself, yet Yun had managed it. If the two had battled, the outco would be unpredictable.

He looked up at the end of the Sky Ladder above him, then glanced back at Yun who was rapidly catching up, calculating in his heart.

At Yun’s speed, it was completely impossible to catch up with him before he reached the peak of the Sky Ladder.

For caution’s sake, he changed his strategy, slowed down, conserving divine power within for the situation ahead.

As ti ticked away, viewers worldwide anxiously watched the towering Sky Ladder.

Under his full-speed climb, Yun gradually closed the distance with the Heavenly Demon. But this pursuit wasn’t marked, as the Heavenly Demon had accumulated too much advantage prior, and the white cloud at the end was drawing near.

Ten minutes later, Yun was about to catch up with the Heavenly Demon, with only a few hundred ters left between them!

Yet the Heavenly Demon had already reached the end of the Sky Ladder, diving into the white cloud, disappearing from the view of spectators worldwide.

Hearts sank, unsure what advantage the Heavenly Demon would gain within the white cloud, unsure of what lay within.

The white cloud obscured everyone’s vision; even those with abilities to penetrate fog and sand couldn’t see through it.

Yun’s expression turned serious, staring up at the white cloud cloaking the end of the Sky Ladder, the cloud exuding endless mystery like another world.

Finally, Yun reached the last step, with the white cloud hovering above him, about to unveil its mystery.

The next mont, with the anticipation of the world upon him, Yun ascended from the last step, plunging into the white cloud.

The Sky Ladder was now empty, devoid of a single person.

All eyes from around the world fixated on that white cloud.

The happenings inside were left to the imagination.

...

Upon entering the white cloud, Yun’s vision imdiately broadened.

He stood on top of the cloud layer, cotton-like clouds floating beneath his feet, as if weightless, preventing him from falling.

Ahead stretched a vast sea of clouds, white clouds filling his sight like countless candies, breathtakingly beautiful.

At the center of the cloud sea stood a glowing portal, suspended in the white cloud without a base.

In the middle of that portal was a luminous white barrier, its interior inscrutable.

Clearly, that portal was the ultimate secret in all of Purgatory, the final objective of their competition with the Heavenly Demon and others!

Not far from the portal was a shadow, flapping black wings, flying rapidly towards it, nearly reaching—none other than the Heavenly Demon!

In this cloud layer, flight capability was unrestricted once more!

Yun quickly flapped the Wings of the Sun Chaser behind him, speeding towards the portal. With the Wings of the Sun Chaser, his speed had the upper hand, quickly closing in on the Heavenly Demon ahead, more vigorous than the previous chase on the Sky Ladder.

Just then, the Heavenly Demon glanced back at Yun, flapping his Magic Dragon Wings sharply, instantly releasing two purple beams!

Those purple beams were a spatial skill of the Magic Dragon Wings, called Spatial Isolation, capable of forming an Imprisonnt Barrier trapping enemies or a Protective Barrier isolating external attacks when used on oneself.

The next mont, those purple beams hit Yun!

Yet Yun continued flying swiftly, unfettered, suffering no confinent!

The two purple beams had no effect!

Yun had previously absorbed the Dragon Emperor Heavenly Stone, now possessing the Dragon Emperor’s Physique, permanently in a Magic Immune State. Such control skills could be entirely ignored, even the Greedy Demon Body under Mortal God power couldn’t control him.

The Heavenly Demon felt a hint of surprise, ceased his attack on Yun, and turned back to continue rushing at full speed.

Then, Yun pointed towards the Heavenly Demon, using the Nefalem Skill—Dark Seal!

A black energy instantly surged from his fingertip, shooting rapidly towards the Heavenly Demon.

This skill could seal a target for an entire day; against an expert like the Heavenly Demon, it could only seal for a brief mont, but even a brief mont was sufficient!

If Yun could rush into that portal first, he would claim victory!

Soon, the Dark Seal’s black energy approached the Heavenly Demon, about to hit. But at that mont, the Heavenly Demon suddenly flapped his Magic Dragon Wings again, releasing two more purple beams, rapidly unfolding into a purple barrier, enveloping his entire body!

Again, this was the Magic Dragon Wings’ Spatial Isolation skill, but this ti acting on the Heavenly Demon himself, forming a Protective Barrier.

The next mont, the Dark Seal’s black energy collided with the barrier, unable to penetrate, eventually dissipating into the air.

Yun’s skill also failed!

In these final monts, both of their skills lost effectiveness; it was down to a race of speed to see who could charge into the portal first!
