However, since this water serpent was 12 levels below him, even if it was a boss creature of a leading rank, the experience it provided was not substantial. And the items it dropped were only a few holy domain materials, which might be highly valuable to others but were far less significant compared to the high-level materials from the morgue for Huang Yi.
After that, Huang Yi rode the Two-Headed Lin, continuing to ander through the swamp in search of primary holy domain targets to take on.
Finally, an hour passed. Huang Yi estimated that the Barbarian God Simulacrum should be nearly finished with its creation, and he imdiately summoned the Heroes’ Prison, returning to the morgue, where he approached the simulacrum of the Barbarian God.
What now lay before Huang Yi’s eyes was a brand-new body!
This body had six arms and was covered with strong muscles, filled with brute force.
Its expression was extrely ferocious, as if it was one of those evil deities enshrined in temples! This was not just any body, but a demonic god clone, so just beholding its form gave off a vast, supre presence that commanded reverence!
The materials for this body ca from various corpses, the weakest of which were beyond the heavenly domain level. Under the adjustnt of the Power of the Nefalem, they rged perfectly to form a new corpse, far stronger than Huang Yi’s own incarnation!
At that mont, the Barbarian God Simulacrum suddenly opened its eyes, and a flash of divine light streaked across its gaze, carrying a soul-deep oppressive force!
It quickly stood up, like a malevolent deity awakening, its frightening figure towering in the morgue, making even the air seem to pause slightly!
It was assembled from materials of the dead, but now it truly possessed life! This thod was akin to creating a deity, unbelievable!
"Master! Thank you for creating !" At this mont, it seed the Barbarian God Simulacrum was aware that Huang Yi had given it life, and it bowed respectfully to Huang Yi. The demonic god clone possessed a certain degree of intelligence, unlike the creatures summoned through Huang Yi’s racial skill, Call of the Wild, such as hunting dogs and falcons, which required his control, this being had its own consciousness.
"Very good!" Huang Yi nodded in satisfaction and examined the Barbarian God Simulacrum. This Barbarian God was powerful and did not require his divided attention to control, making it a perfect contract partner. Its strength would also increase as Huang Yi’s level did, and it could be resurrected after death!
"Follow out!" said Huang Yi, and he left the Heroes’ Prison with this brand-new contract partner, returning to the abyss outside.
Next, Huang Yi, accompanied by the Barbarian God, continued to roam around the swamps of the abyss, looking for suitable leveling targets.
"Splash!" Just then, a sudden sound of mud and water being disturbed ca from a distance. Huang Yi imdiately turned his head to look. In the muddy waters, he could vaguely make out a creature burrowing through, with so cold, glinting scales surfacing. It appeared to be a giant python, nearly a hundred ters in length, with a powerful aura that surpassed that of the holy domain water serpent he had previously slain.
"Let’s go, let’s kill it!" Huang Yi said to the Barbarian God by his side.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Upon hearing Huang Yi’s words, the Barbarian God imdiately took powerful strides toward the holy domain python, his robust body thundering through the mud without sinking.
At this, the giant python noticed the arrival of the Barbarian God. Instinctively sensing danger, it turned to flee into the distance! Its huge body was not at all cumberso, and its speed was incredibly fast, virtually flying across the mud.
But the Barbarian God gave it no chance, leaping high into the air and crashing down onto the giant python! The powerful collision between its robust body and the python effectively halted the creature’s escape.
Through this attack, Huang Yi obtained information about the giant python—it was the sa level as him, also at level 114!
The next mont, the python twisted in pain, resisting fiercely. Its nearly hundred-ter-long body was as quick as lightning, wrapping tightly around the Barbarian God in an instant and binding it as tightly as a rice dumpling. Had it been an ordinary person, they might have been strangled to death on the spot.
But the Barbarian God was born with imnse brute force. Its six strong hands tightly grasped the python, forcibly unwinding its constricting coils. The Barbarian God then clenched the python’s tail and swung it fiercely into the air, thrashing its nearly hundred-ter-long body down onto the ground, creating a trail of mud and water as long as itself, as if it was wielding a whip.
This style of fighting lacked any finesse; it was the most primitive form of combat characteristic of wild beasts, a contest of brute force!
Huang Yi finally witnessed the strength of the Barbarian God. Just in terms of strength, it far surpassed his own. However, its thods were quite simplistic—relying solely on brute force with no skills or techniques to speak of.
Huang Yi also charged forward, working in tandem with the Barbarian God to attack the giant python. The effectiveness of their cooperation far exceeded that of Huang Yi fighting alongside the Two-Headed Lin as his mount. After all, the Two-Headed Lin was ant to be ridden, its attack power couldn’t compare to the pure violence of a contract partner like the Barbarian God.
In this way, it took them only a few minutes to kill the BOSS that was on the sa level as Huang Yi. If this had been before, he wouldn’t have been able to kill a BOSS of the sa level so easily, at least not without so complications.
Huang Yi absorbed the soul of the giant python BOSS into his War Soul, replacing a previous soul spirit of just over level 100. This giant python soul spirit granted him an additional 3% attack speed, a decent ratio, slightly better than the souls he had absorbed in the Tower of Pantheons.
Currently, on this continent, only dangerous areas like the Abyss were suitable for Huang Yi to find soul spirits. It was difficult to find Holy Domain Warriors in ordinary places. However, the Abyss contained so advanced and top Holy Domain experts, whom Huang Yi couldn’t fight against at all and had to avoid if encountered.
Huang Yi, along with the Barbarian God, continued venturing deeper into the Abyss, hunting down Primary Holy Domain Warriors in a manner akin to two expert players coordinating flawlessly. If they encountered a Mid-level Sanctuary Expert, they’d have the Barbarian God test out its strength first. If it was manageable, they’d fight; if not, they’d run. It was a journey full of close calls but without real danger.
In this manner, the day gradually passed. There was no distinction between day and night in the Abyss. When Huang Yi got hungry, he would log off to eat, spending the rest of his ti hunting down Primary Holy Domains with the Barbarian God.
Thanks to his efforts, Huang Yi had replaced practically all of the soul spirits in his possession. The souls he had previously absorbed in the Tower of Pantheons were mostly below level 110, whereas in the Abyss, he had changed them all for soul spirits of level 110 and above, slightly boosting his strength.
...
During this ti, the Self-destruct power that once shrouded Man Tian in the Desolate Sands had been fully suppressed by a group of Guardians, and the dazzling light had completely faded. He collapsed to the ground, motionless like a dead dog, hanging onto his last breath.
Out of curiosity, many players had also rushed to the scene, wanting to check on the situation, but they were barred outside by the Heavenly Domain Guardian’s barrier. The players’ curiosity grew stronger as they paced back and forth outside the barrier, with more and more people gathering. anwhile, the forums were already filled with speculations about what secret mission Huang Yi was carrying out so close to the special mont before the start of the team competition.
One thing was certain, though—this could very well impact the outco of the team competition!
The ti had co to go back and kill Man Tian. Huang Yi’s true self imdiately used the Attached Skill of the Legendary Headband "The era of Godslayers" and, through the Godslayer’s Mark, teleported with the Barbarian God across vast distances to the Desolate Sands where his incarnation was.
"Hmm? What is this? I sense an inexplicable powerful force." Just as Huang Yi appeared with the Barbarian God, one of the Heavenly Domain Guardians suddenly exclaid, turning his attention to the Barbarian God.
The other Guardians also took notice of the Barbarian God. As heroic figures, they were astute and sensed the deity-like power within the Barbarian God! Though this power was still weak, its quality was unmatched.
"This is my contract partner, the Barbarian God!" Huang Yi announced to them. Although the Barbarian God wasn’t as powerful as these Guardians at the mont, its potential was limitless, and it could grow alongside him. More importantly, the Barbarian God could always stay by his side, lending him strength, which these Guardians couldn’t do since they were confined to the bounds of this Sub-territory and couldn’t accompany Huang Yi to kill BOSSes.
"Godslayer, Man Tian is down to his last breath, you can kill him now!" At that mont, the Soul Ripper addressed Huang Yi with a deep voice. It was one of the five Celestial Realm Experts, with the head of a boar and a human body, looking quite fearso, yet very courteous to Huang Yi, the Lord.
"Great! Thank you!" Huang Yi nodded gratefully, his gaze filled with anticipation as he looked toward Man Tian.
Apart from the Hydra Death Scale he had slain for a Rare Quest, this would be the first ti he personally killed a Celestial Realm Expert. The vast Experience Points he would gain could boost him up several levels. And it might be the only chance he’d have to kill a Celestial Realm Expert for a long ti to co. Celestial Realm Experts didn’t invade territories randomly to get beaten up by his Guardians, and outside the territory, Huang Yi was no match for them. Man Tian was quite unlucky in that regard.
Huang Yi quickly pulled out the Legendary Ghost Axe and, under the watchful eyes of over a hundred Guardians, approached Man Tian.
Man Tian’s once proud and lofty Celestial body was now battered and mutilated, missing limbs and covered in shocking, massive wounds, as if it had been subjected to so severe punishnt. Currently unconscious, he couldn’t even stand, lying in a lowly posture before Huang Yi, at his rcy for slaughter, a sharp contrast to his previously arrogant deanor. (To be continued.
