"That’s sothing your brother will have to decide for himself!" Qin Shiyu patted Xiao Chunzi’s head, then looked at Huang Yi and said, "Hurry up and set our Heroism Religion’s buff attributes! Open the religious panel. There are prompts there; you just need to set it up."

"Okay!" Huang Yi nodded and imdiately opened the religious panel.

Upon opening the religious panel, Huang Yi saw so detailed data. The Heroism Religion currently had four talents, of which the first had already been fixed. This was a universal talent that any religion would have, nad "Believer’s Faith"—

Believers who pray, worship, chant hymns, and perform other prayerful actions toward the gods enshrined in the religious buildings of their faith can receive 1 point of faith contribution each day and automatically receive a certain BUFF that lasts for 24 hours.

This small BUFF could be a 1% increase in attack speed, a 3% increase in experience points acquisition, a gain of 100 energy points, etc. The effects were diverse and completely random. This universal talent could attract believers to pray in religious buildings every day, enhancing their sense of belonging to the religion.

Beyond the first universal talent, the remaining three were what differentiated each religion from others, requiring the popes of each religion to choose from the many talent options provided by the system. These talents were all balanced by the system; they were all roughly equivalent in benefits but targeted different aspects.

After so deliberation, Huang Yi locked down the first two talents—

"Heroic Courage": True heroes dare to draw their swords against mighty enemies. When believers of the Heroism Religion face enemies of a higher status level than themselves, they will gain Heroic Courage, giving them a 10% increase in all attributes against that enemy. For every level the believer gains in religious rank, the added value will increase by an additional 1%.

"Fearless Hero": True heroes never fear death. When believers of the Heroism Religion die, their chances of reincarnation decrease by 5%, and the experience points lost upon death decrease by 5%. For every level the believer gains in religious rank, the added value will increase by an additional 1%.

After choosing the first two talents, Huang Yi’s focus shifted to the third. This talent was quite special, being unique to the Heroism Religion. The system already had a template—"All believers of the Heroism Religion can receive a 0.3% increase in attributes from the Heroism Pope—God of Slaughter XX. For every increase in level of believers’ faith, the added value will further increase by 0.3%."

The "XX attribute" was for Huang Yi to decide, and without hesitation, he chose attack. Among all his attributes, his attack was the most formidable, far surpassing the average player. Although 0.3% might seem small, when multiplied by Huang Yi’s trendous attack power, the effect would be very noticeable!

Next were the religious skills. Religious skills had to be chosen from a pool set by the system. After considering various options, Huang Yi picked a skill that was very attractive to believers—

"God of Slaughter Descending": The Heroism Religion worships the God of Slaughter, who will also protect the believers of Heroism, blessing each and every one of them. After a brief prayer, believers can use this skill to summon a replica of the God of Slaughter to aid them in battle. The clone’s strength varies randomly, from 50% to 100% of the God of Slaughter’s attributes. The clone possesses most of the God of Slaughter’s talents and skills, excluding special ones. The clone can last for 1 minute. Each use of this skill consus 20 points of faith contribution, with the cost reduced by 1 point for every increase in a believer’s faith level. Cooldown ti: 1 day.

This skill ant that Huang Yi was, in essence, always by the side of every believer of the Heroism Religion. Whenever a believer encountered a formidable enemy that they couldn’t defeat, they could try using this skill to summon a clone of Huang Yi. If they were extrely lucky and summoned a clone with 100% of Huang Yi’s attributes, it would be as if Huang Yi’s real self had co to assist in the fight.

Now Huang Yi was recognized as the number one person in the world, with suprely powerful attributes. Summoning him to fight was like calling upon a great deity. However, Huang Yi’s clone, being an NPC, lacked the flexibility in combat skills and the grasp of the battle situation that the real Huang Yi possessed.

This skill divinized Huang Yi even more within the Heroism Religion! He beca like a deity, whom believers could pray to in tis of danger, summoning him for protection.

With that, the religious talents and skills were decided!

The actual effects of these three religious talents, as well as the consumption calculation of the religious skills, would change with the believer’s faith level, encouraging believers to contribute more diligently to the Heroism Religion.

The faith level was an important asure of a believer’s seniority, requiring the expenditure of faith contribution points to increase. The higher the level, the more faith contribution points were required, especially after surpassing level 10, where each increase necessitated a massive amount of faith contribution points.

The sources for faith contribution points were varied. In addition to receiving one point daily through praying at temples before Huang Yi’s statues, there were many ways to contribute to the religion and thus gain faith contribution points. For example, preaching to outsiders could earn one point of faith contribution for each new believer brought in; donating to the Heroism Religion allowed for obtaining one point of faith contribution for a set amount of Gold Coins, and so forth.

Seeing that Huang Yi had completed setting the talents and skills for the Heroism Religion, Qin Shiyu nodded with a smile and said, "Alright, our religious talents and skills are now in place. Next, we have tens of thousands of missionaries who will go to every continent, every corner of the world to preach, build temples for the Heroism Religion, and recruit believers. Moreover, to gain more faith contribution points, believers will help us spread the faith diligently. And their faith contribution points will transform into your Power of Faith at a certain ratio."

"Turn into the Power of Faith for big brother? What is that?" Xiao Chunzi imdiately grabbed Huang Yi’s large hand, asking with curiosity.

"The Power of Faith is one of the conditions needed to advance to an Epic Hero,—but that’s still a long way off," Huang Yi said as he patted Xiao Chunzi’s head, beginning to explain.

Heroes vary in strength; the majority of the heroes in Heroes’ Prison right now are Legendary Heroes, while there are very few Epic Heroes. Such individuals are generally the strongest beings of their tis, such as the Ten Great Deity Sealers of The Second World—they were Epic Heroes. Besides them, there are also a few top-level Demigods who nearly achieved Divine Enthronent. The Bloodstained War Halberd’s original owner, Emperor Sorett, was also an Epic Hero at his ti.

To beco an Epic Hero, one must et a certain requirent: obtaining a kind of spirit! The only thod Huang Yi knows of to obtain this spirit is to gather 1 billion points of the Power of Faith!

This number is extraordinarily vast, and it’s very difficult to collect 1 billion points of the Power of Faith by ordinary ans. Founding a religion, however, is the fastest way. When the followers of the Heroism Religion give offerings to Huang Yi, they receive faith contribution points, and Huang Yi, in turn, gains a certain amount of the Power of Faith at a set ratio. It’s a win-win situation.

However, right now, Huang Yi isn’t even a Legendary Hero, and the Hero Trial is extrely difficult; he is not yet confident in his ability to overco it. Collecting these points of the Power of Faith is like preparing beforehand—it’s for the future, as there will inevitably co a day when they will be needed.

"Let’s go," Huang Yi said, taking Xiao Chunzi by the hand, and together with Qin Shiyu, they headed out of the temple.

As they walked, his gaze swept over the murals on the walls. These murals all had an epic feel to them; ordinary people really couldn’t paint like this. After looking at several murals, he couldn’t help but ask, "Who painted these murals?"

"These oil paintings were all done by contemporary famous painters," Qin Shiyu answered, pointing to the mural on the wall depicting Huang Yi saving Dragon City. "For example, this one, ’Dawn of Dragon City,’ is a work by the famous contemporary oil painting master Jie Li Fu! He was originally in the Arican Continent, and we especially sent a Dragon Fang Battleship to bring him over from the Arican Continent to paint this mural. If it were in the real world, one of Master Jie Li Fu’s works would auction for at least a hundred million US dollars."

"Jie Li Fu!" Upon hearing this na, Huang Yi suddenly realized that the world-renowned oil painter was one of the mbers in Rose Prison. Artists are temperantal, and under normal circumstances, it’s very hard to persuade them, but it’s easy since everyone in Rose Prison is one of our own.

"Not only that, the Hymn that the Saintess just sang ca from the famous composer Bei Ke of Rose Prison as well. We’ve also adapted this Hymn into a pop music version and included it in the upcoming new album of the Arican pop music diva Janet, set to release next week, as the main song to hit the US Billboard charts. We’ve also invested a huge sum in placing advertisents in leading dia around the world and gotten celebrity spokespersons for an all-around promotion," Qin Shiyu continued, his words filled with a sense of readiness and confidence.

"Janet! So many people in our class listen to her songs," Xiao Chunzi exclaid, eyes widening, sowhat in awe after hearing this.

"Then, in the future, you’ll all be singing our Hymn," Qin Shiyu said, smiling slightly as he stroked Xiao Chunzi’s head.

The three of them chatted while passing through an inconspicuous side gate, leaving the temple to appear in a deserted little alley in Dragon City, unnoticed by anyone.

Right now, the sunlight poured down transparently, warmly bathing them. There was no one else in this quiet alley.

As the three of them continued talking and walking, taking several turns, Huang Yi’s pupils suddenly narrowed, and he stopped in his tracks, staring fixedly ahead.

In the alley ahead stood a tall, thin man. He was dressed in a straw raincoat, wearing a tattered bamboo hat, and held a fishing rod in his hands, casting his line into the emptiness of the alley, like a fisherman.

But there were no ponds or even puddles in this alley; what he was fishing for was a mystery.
