"Alright, I’ve got to go! God of Slaughter, here’s my business card, feel free to ssage anyti you need sothing." Ni Dongde finished speaking, took out a card, flicked it with his finger toward Huang Yi, then turned and walked out of the alley.

Huang Yi caught the business card and watched Ni Dongde’s figure grow more distant, silent for a long ti. If this person was really Ni Dongde, then their power would undoubtedly greatly increase, and toppling the World Federation would be more assured.

Afterward, Huang Yi also turned and left the place, and the entire alley imdiately beca deserted, as if no one had ever been there.

...

Days passed by, and Huang Yi told Qin Shiyu and Thunder God about Ni Dongde seeking him out. They all thought it was a good thing; the enemy of their enemy was their friend, and the World Federation was their common foe.

True to his word, Ni Dongde, who was known as the "Far East Thief," turned himself in to the World Federation a few days later! This action received praise from the World Federation, and Oster, the Chairman of the World Federation, personally delivered a televised speech, calling on more criminals to learn from Zhang Yujian and to turn themselves in voluntarily.

Zhang Yujian is currently undergoing trial, and once the trial process is over, he will be able to enter Rose Prison. Then, their cooperation would officially begin.

Now, there was less than a month left until the annual festival of The Second World, and top players from various countries were striving forward. Huang Yi was relatively calm during this period, focusing entirely on leveling up.

He was now Level 149, still holding the top position on the World Rankings, with only one more level to reach the new watershed of Level 150. At that point, he would beco an Advanced Holy Domain Expert and could undergo the Second Transformation of his profession.

Yang Yuheng and a group of ordinary players were still doggedly pursuing him, relying on their fast leveling speed. The gap in levels had narrowed to just three levels behind Huang Yi, and it wouldn’t be long before they would surpass him. At this rate of pursuit, Huang Yi wouldn’t be able to hold onto the top spot in the World Rankings until the annual festival began.

That day, Huang Yi logged in early and appeared at the very top floor of the City Hall. At that mont, Qin Shiyu seed to have been busy all night and was asleep on the table. Her long hair cascaded down like a waterfall, and the golden morning sun shone upon it, giving off a soft glow that made it look exceptionally beautiful.

Huang Yi didn’t go over to disturb her but moved stealthily to the window to look out over Dragon City.

Dragon City’s neatly arrayed buildings filled his entire field of vision, stretching endlessly. The bustling streets were teeming with people, and even in daylight, when the online population was at its lowest, they were still exceptionally lively. The fragrant camphor trees lining the streets were in full bloom. It was now May, and the sumr of June was quickly approaching.

"Brother Yi, it was around this ti last year that you ca to Dragon City to find ." Just then, Huang Yi suddenly felt a delicate body embrace him from behind, soft and springy breasts pressed against his back, and two fair arms wrapped around him from behind, carrying a waft of fragrance.

"Yes, it’s been a year since we t already. I wonder when we will truly et outside of Rose Prison." Huang Yi also held Qin Shiyu’s tender, boneless hands and sighed.

"One day we will!" Qin Shiyu said with conviction, her cheek pressed against Huang Yi’s back as she gently closed her eyes, as though finding a solid foundation of support, "Our forces are growing stronger every day; one day, we will grow powerful enough to overthrow the World Federation. Just three hours ago, all the mbers of our guild in the various continental divisions around the world surpassed thirty million. And our Heroism Religion, under the intense propaganda bombardnt during this period, has now surpassed four million believers. Once a large number of temples are established all over the world, the number of our followers will explode, surpassing guild numbers is just a matter of ti. One day, we will beco a major religion with over a hundred million believers."

Hearing this, Huang Yi couldn’t help but nod subtly. The Heroism Religion had just been founded and there weren’t many temples, so many players wishing to join had nowhere to go, with only a few cities like Dragon City having temples of the Heroism Religion. Once there were more churches, players could easily join the religion. With thirty million mbers in the Heroism Guild alone, these mbers would essentially all join the Heroism Religion. In addition, players from other continents would join, breaking one hundred million believers was not impossible.

Currently, Heaven’s Church, the first religion of The Second World, was in a phase of explosive growth of followers. Their temples and churches around the world were mostly completed, with their numbers of believers having just surpassed one hundred million yesterday. And Xuanyuan Sect, the first religion of Hero’s Continent, was also about to break one hundred million. Starting later than them, the Heroism Religion would catch up eventually; it was just a matter of ti.

The developnt of a religion’s congregation proceeds much faster than that of a guild. Guilds are unrestricted and anyone can create one. There are now millions of guilds worldwide, dispersing the player base, so guilds with over ten million mbers are already considered colossal behemoths. Religions, however, are different. The Heart of Religion is incredibly hard to obtain. One must either create a record in the Tower of Pantheons like Huang Yi or spend a large number of Stone Exchanges at the Reward Vault, both of which are extrely difficult.

Presently, there are fewer than ten religions in The Second World, and including those with docunted plans to establish one, there are no more than thirty. Although the number of religions will increase over ti, they won’t be able to spread on a large scale. There are very limited options for players wanting to join a religion, and they can only choose from the few available.

"Brother Yi, there’s another piece of important news." At this mont, Qin Shiyu’s tone suddenly beca solemn, "Our spy embedded within the Martial Arts Guild has sent word that Miyamoto Musashi has been missing for several days, along with the first combat-capable warship of the Martial Arts Guild. Miyamoto Musashi has been extrely cautious this ti; very few know of his whereabouts. Our scout hasn’t been able to determine his exact location, only that he has taken to the sea."

"He’s been missing for several days?" Huang Yi pondered, finding the news sowhat vague. Disappearance could be for many reasons, and it was difficult to infer the adversary’s intentions from this ssage alone.

"Yes, because he is your nesis, the organization is particularly focused on his movents. Now that he’s set out with the warship, it could be that he’s heading out for an overseas adventure, possibly to conquer so island, or even to attack so continent—or perhaps even our Hero’s Continent. In any case, we need to be extra vigilant," Qin Shiyu advised cautiously.

"I understand, but a person like him is unpredictable; even if we are more cautious, if he is scheming against us from the shadows, there’s little we can do. We’ll just have to wait and see how things unfold," Huang Yi nodded and said.

...

anwhile, in a sea area off the west side of the Hero’s Continent, a monstrous warship with a fearso appearance and cannon ports along its sides, slowly advanced from the distant coastline.

This sea area was not a necessary route for shipping lanes; there were no ports or major cities within thousands of kiloters nearby, and not a soul in sight. The appearance of this warship here went unnoticed by all.

At the very front of the warship stood a person dressed in white samurai garnts, the sea breeze tousled his hair, revealing a pair of eyes filled with a desire for conquest. He looked towards the distant coastline, his face adorned with a hint of a smile.

"Alright, we will soon make landfall on the Hero’s Continent," Miyamoto Musashi addressed all aboard the ship, "I’ll repeat it again, we must not initiate War Mode! Although activating War Mode ans killing won’t yield a Sin Value, the cost is very high—it not only risks exposing our movents but also risks being deed defeated, an ignominy we cannot afford. Our primary objective is to take hostages, killing is only secondary..."

"Everyone, obey my command and imdiately use the Anti-Reconnaissance Potion I gave you," Miyamoto Musashi continued, promptly taking out an almost transparent potion and swallowing it, "The God of Slaughter is the Guardian of the Hero’s Continent, and possesses the Eye of Supervision skill which can track us down. We need to stay hidden in the dark!"

This potion, known as the Anti-Reconnaissance Potion, could last for five days and was extrely rare, and even for Miyamoto Musashi, the top authority on potions, it represented a significant expense. However, in order to perfectly execute his plan, he spared no cost and provided each person with a bottle. Actually, it wasn’t only the Anti-Reconnaissance Potion; he had specially developed a large number of potions with various uses just for this mission, and everyone got their share.

At that mont, the hundred elite experts aboard the warship also took out their own Anti-Reconnaissance Potions and gulped them down. From now on, they would be untraceable, and even Huang Yi, the Guardian of the Hero’s Continent, would not be able to use the Guardian’s Eye of Supervision to locate them.

Finally, as the warship approached within three kiloters of the coastline, Miyamoto Musashi grandly gestured and declared with an air of confidence, "Let’s go!"

With that, he leaped straight from the bow of the ship and imdiately deployed a Glider Wing flying device, gliding straight toward the coastline of the Hero’s Continent.

Following him, the elite experts one after another jumped from the ship, each employing their thods to fly swiftly toward the Hero’s Continent.

In the air, they were like flies heading towards a thick slab of buttercream cake.

Before long, all one hundred had landed on the coastline of the Hero’s Continent, with the tide brushing back and forth against the sandy beach behind them, the air filled with a fresh scent. Miyamoto Musashi couldn’t help but close his eyes and took a deep breath as if he was stepping onto a New Continent.

"All hands follow my orders, scatter and carry out the assigned tasks quickly," Miyamoto Musashi instructed, leading the way ahead and soon disappeared into the dense forest.

And the remainder of the hundred, each sure of their direction, rushed towards their individual destinations, each one acting with precision and well-honed training.

The Hero’s Continent, thus unsuspectingly, received a group of uninvited guests. No one knew what kind of stir their arrival would cause. (To be continued.
