Yun instantly furrowed his brows, lowering his gaze to the Blue Rose in his hands.
That woman could only be seen by him; no one else could see her. Clearly, she had co specifically to find him.
During the brief conversation, the woman with smoky eye makeup exuded an air of mystery everywhere, especially with her exaggerated makeup and those deep eyes, as if they were black holes. They were a pair of eyes one could never forget after seeing them.
Who was she? Why did she say they would et again in the future?
Yun thought for a mont but did not delve deeper into it. His mind was entirely preoccupied with Qin Shiyu.
The Sunset had completely sunk below the horizon, and Moonlight blanketed the earth as a brand new night arrived.
The Roses of the City of Roses appeared even more enchanting under the Moonlight, but Yun no longer had the heart to admire them.
He paced back and forth in the garden, occasionally checking the online list, anxiously waiting.

Yun continued waiting in the garden, but his emotions had begun to calm sowhat. The roses in the flowerbeds seed even more splendid. The murmurs of couples whispering sweet nothings weren’t as grating on the ears anymore.
Unknowingly, the Moon gradually descended, and the sky at dawn lit up faintly. A new day arrived. The City of Roses beca emptier as countless players logged off to prepare for a day of work and study.
Yun felt a tinge of lancholy—after waiting all night, Qin Shiyu had still not logged on.
He was about to log off for breakfast and decided to check the online list one last ti.

Unable to hold back any longer, Qin Shiyu threw herself into Yun’s arms, embracing him tightly.

"Are you safe now?" Yun breathed in the scent of her hair, his hand firmly pressed against the back of her head to prevent her from pulling away.
"The place I’m hiding in was prepared long ago; the World Federation shouldn’t be able to find . The organization won’t give any more missions going forward. I’ll be dedicating myself to staying with you in The Second World." Qin Shiyu’s voice was soft and tender. "Brother Yi, I’ve obtained so very crucial intel this ti! Did you know that you’ve already been to the Ghost Gate once?"
"What do you an?" Yun’s expression beca serious.
Running her fingers through Yun’s hair, Qin Shiyu gently explained, "The World Federation wanted to extract you from the Rose Prison and secretly execute you. But since Rose Prison is jointly managed by the World Federation and other major nations, they would need voting approval from those nations’ representatives to get you out. Within this, Desire Arises from the Heart’s father cast his vote in favor—a vote that nearly sealed your fate. However, another representative cast a dissenting vote. It was precisely this vote against the motion that thwarted the World Federation’s plan."
"Oh? Who cast the dissenting vote?" Yun opened his eyes curiously and looked at Qin Shiyu.
"Dao Feng’s father." Qin Shiyu’s tone carried a trace of gratitude. "If not for that opposing vote, they would’ve long targeted you. Dao Feng must’ve discovered your true identity in reality and had his father intervene. At this rate, the World Federation might expose your identity—you should be ready for that."
"Let them expose it if they wish! There’s not much impact now anyway," Yun replied indifferently.
A year ago, if Yun’s true identity were exposed, it could have caused so trouble. But now his influence had grown so strong that even revealing he had been in the Rose Prison wouldn’t matter.
"Currently, the World Federation’s main focus is on Ni Dongde. Ni Dongde’s resistance is driving them mad. His actions help draw attention, easing much of the pressure you face. We don’t need to worry so much about the real world and can concentrate on building our lives in The Second World."
After saying this, Qin Shiyu kissed Yun lightly on the forehead. "Brother Yi, I’m logging off for breakfast now. You’ve waited for all night—go log off and eat too!"
With that, the two simultaneously logged off.
Yun opened his eyes, returning from The Second World to reality, back to the dim confines of the Rose Prison.
The walls around him were mottled and aged, flaking with plaster, while the floor was uneven, and the rusted iron doors exuded decay. Every corner of the prison radiated with an aura of desolation.
This was a stark contrast to the earlier scene he shared with Qin Shiyu amidst the Rose Ocean.
Both places had Roses—one felt like Heaven, while the other was more akin to Hell.
But so bonds are destined to reunite, even if one exists in Heaven while the other remains in Hell.
