Huang Yi couldn’t use his teleportation skills to leave, so he had to obediently find his way out on his own.
He swam back to the edge of the pool, transford into his Agile Cat Form, and casually slipped into one of the water channels. After traversing through a dark and narrow passageway, he erged in a small pool inside a room.
"Why is the effect of this Demon Water getting weaker and weaker..." Just as he erged, Huang Yi heard a doubtful voice ringing in his ears.
In the pool within that room lay a severely injured demon.
The demon had a humanoid form; it originally possessed wings, yet one of them was now missing. Several sharp bones protruded violently through its skin. Its left arm had been severed, and a shocking, massive wound on its waist was continuously oozing blood.
Its remaining right arm held a club, and it lay weakly in the pool, murmuring to itself with a furrowed brow.
Although the demon was seriously injured, its aura remained imnsely powerful, clearly a Top-level Holy Domain Rank.
Huang Yi’s heart stirred upon seeing this demon.
Even though the demon wasn’t injured to the point of unconsciousness, if he attacked it, chaos would surely ensue, alerting every demon in the Desolate Demon Palace to his presence. But since he was leaving soon, he decided to seize one last opportunity for gain before his departure!
Without hesitation, Huang Yi instantly transford back into his human form. With lightning speed, he withdrew his Bloodstained War Halberd and launched a fierce sneak attack from underwater against the demon!

These demons had always considered the Desolate Demon Palace a secure sanctuary, believing no one would ever dare target them. Yet unbeknownst to them, such an audacious act was currently unfolding—right next door, their kin was being savagely attacked by Huang Yi!
Another two seconds passed, and the demon recovered again, at last letting out the long-suppressed wail of agony!
"Ah!" The demon’s harrowing scream pierced through the walls, spreading into the hallways outside!
Several demons walking in the corridor abruptly halted, turning to face the sealed room door, unsure of what was happening inside.
So cautious demons approached, attempting to push the door open, but Huang Yi had bolted it securely from within, rendering their attempts futile!
"Ah! Ah! Ah!"
The cries of anguish emanating from the room were unbearably shrill, faintly spreading into the corridor and sending shivers down the spines of the listening demons.
"What on earth is happening inside this room?"
"Lord Du’er Rong is inside—he was severely injured and has been healing!"
"That screaming sounds like Lord Du’er Rong’s—what could possibly be happening to him?"
More and more demons gathered outside the door, crowding around it. So attempted brute force attacks, but to no avail!

"Quick, attack the door! Break in!" The leader commanded the guards.
Instantly, the guards all unleashed attacks on the door!
Inside, Huang Yi had already pounded the demon into unconsciousness—it could no longer scream. However, the commotion outside was unmistakable, indicating that the enemies would inevitably breach the room shortly.
Seconds ticked by, with the demon’s health rapidly dwindling while the door was battered by the onslaught of demons outside, developing nurous cracks and being on the verge of breaking!
