Moral Paragon!
Soul nearly spat out blood when he heard these four words!
He had struggled hard to obtain a Hero’s Command, tirelessly worked for the trial for so long, thinking he’d passed it, only to end up being labeled a "Moral Paragon."
But there was absolutely nothing he could do. Against a figure like the Divine Marksman, he was utterly powerless to resist.
Soul turned his head and unwillingly glanced at the heroic aura in front of Huang Yi. He swallowed hard, his eyes brimming with endless desire. His hand even twitched slightly, as if wanting to rush forward and seize it.
But in the end, he could only suppress the longing within his heart. He shot a venomous glare at both Huang Yi and the Divine Marksman before stomping away, enraged.
Now, only Huang Yi and the Divine Marksman remained at the scene.
"God of Slaughter, how do you feel now?" The Divine Marksman stared at Huang Yi and asked with a smile.
Huang Yi gazed at the heroic aura before him and said with emotion, "My feeling is that your trial thods are far too obscure. Like Soul, I thought the choices were tied to actions—that correct actions would lead to passing the trial. But it turns out that’s not the case."
"Actually, the trial also tests strength," the Divine Marksman nodded and explained. "Take your trial as an example: you were originally supposed to encounter three extrely powerful beasts blocking your path to Georgia. But because you had a skill that increased your movent speed tenfold, you bypassed those three beasts entirely. Soul’s trial, on the other hand, was more grueling; he fought two battles in total. However, the choices in his trial were similar to yours—just presented in different events and forms to construct the three decisions. For the first two choices, he passed just like you. Unfortunately, for the third choice, he hesitated and wavered too much, afraid of failure and thus failing to make a decisive choice early on. Even though his final action was correct, such hesitation disqualifies soone from becoming the hero we are seeking."
Huang Yi pondered for a mont and asked, "I’m curious—after I left that secret realm, what happened? Did Georgia defeat the King of Hell?"
"Yes!" The Divine Marksman nodded. "Later, Georgia maintained the Gathering Heaven Array and fully refined his Divine Artifact, Cui Guang, using it to slay the King of Hell’s incompletely ford avatar."
"Then do you know why Georgia placed that Divine Artifact on the Red Star in the sky?" Huang Yi pressed further.
The Divine Marksman looked up at the sky, as if gazing at the Red Star. "We’ve been trying to uncover the reason. Over the years, many of our historian ntors have studied this but have only found one explanation: Georgia said she wanted to place the artifact in the location most threatening to the Demon Clan."
"The location most threatening to the Demon Clan?" Huang Yi repeated.
"Exactly!" The Divine Marksman said wistfully. "Based on Georgia’s words, placing the artifact high in the sky does indeed seem like the location most threatening to the Demon Clan. Georgia’s Ti Artifact has a global attack range. As long as it’s under the illumination of the Red Star, it’s within its attack range. And in The Second World, every continent and every island can be illuminated by the Red Star. So no matter where the Demon Clan appears, the artifact can attack them."
Huang Yi nodded at this explanation. It did seem to align with Georgia’s reasoning. After thinking for a mont, he asked hesitantly, "Do we know the artifact’s current whereabouts? Although it was placed on the Red Star, it also has a tipiece-like control device. Where is that control device now?"
"What, are you interested in obtaining it?" The Divine Marksman smiled cryptically. "However, that artifact already has an owner. As for who it is, you’ll soon find out. Just now, I sensed so disturbances in the Desolate Demon Lands. I must go investigate. Hurry and absorb this heroic aura!" After saying this, the Divine Marksman vanished into thin air before Huang Yi’s eyes.
At that mont, Divine Archer Mountain beca utterly deserted, leaving only Huang Yi.
Floating before him was the sphere of heroic aura.
Huang Yi stared at the heroic aura in front of him, feeling as though he were in a dream.
Monts ago, he had been convinced his trial had ended in failure. Yet, against all odds, things turned around at the last mont, and he had seized the heroic aura.
This was the last piece of heroic aura from the Oskan Royal Academy. He had caught the final bus. From now on, even if players t the naming conditions, they wouldn’t be able to beco heroes through the Hero Trial. Unless the Oskan Royal Academy’s demigods absorbed new heroic aura, but that was an exceedingly slim hope.
Huang Yi took a deep breath and finally reached out, his hand trembling slightly, to grasp the heroic aura floating before him.
The heroic aura seed like a wisp of light gaseous matter but felt slightly heavy, almost tangible, as it landed in his hand.
"[System Prompt]: You have obtained a heroic aura. Absorbing it will allow you to beco a hero. Do you wish to absorb it now?"
Huang Yi made the decision instantly—he chose to absorb!
In the next mont, the heroic aura dispersed, burrowing through his skin and into his body.
The aura contained imnse power. It surged through Huang Yi’s limbs and bones, perating every corner of his body, and fused tightly with every inch of him. The vast heroic energy remained within him forever, becoming his own strength.
At this mont, he felt an unprecedented strength in his body. Every muscle had beco more refined, brimming with the strange power of a hero. Every movent he made carried a newfound level of dominance.
Just then, an expansive, resonating voice echoed throughout the heavens—
"[System Announcent]: [God of Slaughter] has passed the Hero Trial and beco a Heaven-Sent Hero."
The announcent resounded across the entire world. Everyone online, regardless of location or nationality, heard it!
Thus, after the Dragon Emperor, Sword Emperor, Pope, Dongfeng, and Mage Emperor, the sixth Heaven-Sent Hero was born!
And that individual... was Huang Yi, who was just monts away from completing Reincarnation!
In an instant, all invading armies across the Hero’s Continent felt an overwhelming pressure!
Huang Yi had been on the brink of finishing his Reincarnation. Now, at this pivotal mont, he had beco a hero. How formidable would he be once his Reincarnation concluded?
In Red Cliffs City, Miyamoto Musashi, T.N.T, and the Pope were casually discussing their plans against Huang Yi in a relaxed atmosphere. That announcent abruptly interrupted their eting.
"What... What’s going on?! Shouldn’t this announcent have been triggered by Soul? How did it end up being the God of Slaughter?" Miyamoto Musashi turned to T.N.T in disbelief.
"T.N.T, didn’t Soul call you and say his chances of success were high?" the Pope frowned, staring at T.N.T as well.
T.N.T shrugged helplessly. "Soul told that over the phone, but who could’ve predicted the God of Slaughter stepping in? It’s not like it’s his first ti surprising us."
"The God of Slaughter beca a hero. This complicates things," the Pope remarked, stroking his chin. He looked at T.N.T and asked, "Are you absolutely sure the Fallen General will arrive at the critical mont?"
"Relax! The Fallen General will definitely show up. This ti, the God of Slaughter is dood! The Fallen General is an advanced Sky Domain expert at level 270 , while the God of Slaughter is only level 174 before Reincarnation. There’s almost a hundred levels of difference—do you still think the God of Slaughter can pull off a reversal?" T.N.T stared into the Pope’s eyes, countering his question.
"Pope, you don’t need to worry about this at all," Miyamoto Musashi reassured, giving the Pope a confident look. "On Hero’s Continent, our strength is overwhelmingly superior. You can’t even imagine how seriously the Seven Archdemons regard the Hero’s Continent. This is the strongest continent with the most elite powerhouses. For the Seven Archdemons to rule this world, they must first conquer this land. They’ve made preparations far beyond your expectations. If you want to learn more, simply join the Seven Archdemons’ faction. Once they invade, everyone will either submit or die. If you refuse to join us, even we won’t be able to protect you."
"I’ll consider it," the Pope took a deep breath. "I wonder if Soul has any special ans to co back. According to the original plan, after completing the Hero Trial, his level would’ve increased by 20, allowing him to ascend to the Sky Domain instantly and return quickly. But now, his level has fallen far behind. Even hunting Demon Cores to level up will take him so ti before he can ascend."
"Soul can’t make it back, but the Mage Emperor can! He should ascend to the Sky Domain today and will soon rejoin us on the Hero’s Continent." Miyamoto Musashi pressed his lips together, his eyes firm.
...
On another side, after becoming a hero, Huang Yi imdiately received a system prompt—
"[System Prompt]: You absorbed the heroic aura and beca a hero. You are awarded 500 Public Prestige points and obtain [Special Achievent]—[Heaven-Sent Hero]. Special Achievent Points 1. When facing enemies of a higher Status Level, Movent Speed 5%. [Heaven-Sent Hero]: Beco a hero."
Another Special Achievent... Although this one provided limited attribute boosts and its bonuses weren’t very significant, what really mattered to Huang Yi were all the benefits that ca with becoming a hero.
After becoming a hero, players’ strength could surpass those of other strong individuals at the sa level by a wide margin. This was precisely why Dragon Spike had appeared so dominant after ascending to the Sky Domain as a hero!
Now, Huang Yi had also beco a hero and gained the associated enhancents, propelling his strength to a new level. Although a few days remained until his Reincarnation concluded, his power had already far surpassed that of his pre-Reincarnation state.
Next, he began reviewing each of his newly acquired attributes and hero skills one by one.
