Beitang Yao refused to let Xia Qingqian get up, his arms tightening around her waist, pressing her back into his embrace, her eyes eting his icy gaze filled with affection.
"Actually..." he paused for a mont before saying softly, "actually, if you obediently comply and adhere to our contract, I certainly won’t mistreat you." He wasn’t even sure why he had been involved in the auction in the first place.
Perhaps it was because of her eyes, reminiscent of a woman who had once wounded him deeply, leaving scars on his pride.
Would this fool in front of him hurt him like that woman did? He couldn’t bear to imagine, so he resorted to extre asures to bind her, making her feel his authority, instilling such awe that she’d never dare to act out!
"Young Master, what are you talking about? I’m suddenly a bit confused." Her eyelashes fluttered lightly, being so close to Beitang Yao that when she blinked gently, they brushed against his skin, causing an unbearable, sensitive sensation to stir within him, truly tempting.
"My point is that from now on, everything about you is under my control." He held her, rubbing the top of her head a few tis, wiping away the tickling sensation she had left. "I don’t like anything unclean, so you know what to do, right?"
"Young Master, I understand everything you said." Xia Qingqian lay against his chest, quietly listening to his steady and powerful heartbeat. "Young Master, rest assured, I will never break any of the clauses of the contract again, and I will rember every word within."
Upon hearing the final words, Beitang Yao let out a gentle sigh, relaxing completely as if her promise would be eternally fulfilled.
"Let’s go down." Beitang Yao reluctantly pushed her away from him. "Where are you going to sleep tonight?"
As the Ferris wheel ca to a stop, Xia Qingqian’s mind swayed briefly, not hearing Beitang Yao’s last words.
But instead, stepped out of the compartnt before Beitang Yao, fearing that another second inside might make it spin again.
Watching her flee in panic, he chuckled to himself, a hidden laughter buried within his heart, not allowing anyone to see it. He quickly stepped out of the compartnt, caught up to Xia Qingqian.
"Why are you walking so fast?" He reached out to pull her, placing the laptop in her hands. "Hold this."
Xia Qingqian gladly accepted the laptop Beitang Yao handed over, still warm from his touch. Holding it against her chest felt comfortable, warming mories of everything she had seen and experienced in the compartnt, all making her linger again.
He switched to holding her soft hands. The two walked side by side down the empty road, Beitang Yao appearing calm and composed, only exuding a coolness devoid of any embarrassnt or awkwardness. However, Xia Qingqian grew slightly uneasy, sensing the envious glances from passers-by, a secret delight blooming in her heart, her face quickly flushing, spreading up to her ears.
She glanced sideways slightly, from the corners of her eyes, peeking at Beitang Yao’s expression, but all she saw was his indifferent profile, devoid of any expression. Yet the aura he emitted was enough to make one feel dizzy.
It was a charming dizziness.
Her gaze gently fell on the spot where Beitang Yao held her hand, and her lips curved slightly, sketching out an extrely charming arc.
