Xia Qingqian was at a loss for words, and she looked at Beitang Yao with a gentle gaze, then pursed her lips and lowered her head to sip on her milk.

Without thinking much, she pressed the unlock button, and the door automatically opened. When a woman and a child appeared in front of her, Beitang Yao had finished his breakfast and walked over. Seeing the unexpected guests, he furrowed his brows and asked Xia Qingqian, "Those two are here for you again?"
Xia Qingqian’s face was extrely awkward; she really didn’t understand why the usually noble Young Master always got so worked up when seeing Mario. Was he unhappy that Mario ca to see her?

Beitang Yao’s face went dark upon hearing this. He stepped forward and pulled Mario away from Xia Qianqian, "What are you saying, you little brat? By the ti you grow up, she’ll be an old lady with gray hair; would you still want to marry her then?"
The anger in his heart ignited inexplicably, refusing to quell. This little brat was always after his woman, truly having a death wish!
Xia Qianqian stood to the side, her expression turning sour as she heard Beitang Yao’s words. The Young Master said she’d beco an old lady with gray hair. It made her feel a bit dazed.
"Oh dear, Mr. Beitang, be gentle; don’t hurt my darling!" The lady waved her hands in the air frantically, too afraid to step forward and protect her own son, simply pleading incessantly.
"Then don’t let him talk nonsense in front of my woman! What kind of upbringing is this? It’s completely lacking manners!" Beitang Yao coldly glanced at the lady before releasing Mario into her arms, "Take these gifts back with you as well. I won’t allow her to accept them."
Beitang Yao returned to Xia Qingqian’s side, glaring at her harshly, snatching the gift box from her hands and tossing it aside. He absolutely would not allow Xia Qingqian to accept these things of unknown origin!

"Young Master! Kids speak without thinking!" Xia Qingqian drew a deep breath, saying hurriedly and flusteredly.
