Bo Sishen lifted his other large hand, gently caressing her smooth, porcelain-like cheek. With a husky laugh, he said, "I’ve rembered everything you’ve said."
His hand was sowhat rough, and when it slid across her small face, she imdiately felt a burning sensation where he had touched her. She wanted to escape his proximity and thought about retreating.
Unexpectedly, the hand holding her chin tightened, "Are you so afraid of ? Were you just trying to coax with your words earlier?"
Mu Shini then realized that her attempt to move away might have been overinterpreted by him, so she softly said, "I’m not afraid of you, it’s just that you..."
"What about ?" Bo Sishen retracted his hand, stopping his teasing.
"It’s just that, even though you’re disfigured and look hideous, your eyes are so compelling that people can’t look directly at them. They exude such a powerful presence, it’s overwhelming..."
She mumbled quietly.
This aura seed innate, unrelated to his appearance, whether handso or ugly.
Mu Shini had not expected to feel such a strong, regal aura from Bo Sishen.
"Don’t you think I look terrifying now?" Bo Sishen asked slowly.
Mu Shini took a deep breath and looked at him. "Terrifying, yes, but what can be done? You have a lot of money, haven’t you thought about getting costic surgery to restore your previous appearance?"
"I have severe burn scars; even with plastic surgery, I can’t return to the way I was." Bo Sishen gave a light cough, his voice rough and deep.
"Oh, I see." Mu Shini nodded, not fully understanding.
"If you don’t like how I look now, I can wear a mask," Bo Sishen suggested.
"No, no! Really, no need." Mu Shini waved and shook her head. "Don’t burden yourself because of , I won’t mind. I’ll accept all of you."
Upon hearing this, Bo Sishen remained silent for a long ti. After a pause, he held her small hand, his voice deep, an intriguing glint flashing in his eyes. "Wife, I’ve rembered everything you said just now."
He would rember to make her fulfill her duties as a wife.
It wouldn’t take long, very soon.
"Good, as long as you rember." Mu Shini thought about how much she had said earlier. Did he rember all of it?

That night, after taking a bath, Mu Shini wore a cute nightgown he had prepared for her. She walked to the study to say goodnight to Bo Sishen, then entered the bedroom to sleep.
She thought about the road she would take in the future.
From now on, she would be the mistress of this vast estate, and Bo Sishen would be her husband.
And yet, she felt there was an inexplicable, deep chasm between her and Bo Sishen. Now that they had t, she still felt like sothing was missing.
She often found traces of an older man in Bo Sishen.
Mu Shini lay in bed, tossing and turning, thinking about many things until she unknowingly fell asleep.
She had left a dim light on the balcony to prevent the entire bedroom from being completely dark. She felt lonely, isolated, and frightened in such a large bedroom, longing to hold sothing as she slept.
When Bo Sishen pushed the door open and ca in, he saw that Mu Shini had already fallen asleep. The dim light bathed her in a faint glow, making her thin figure look especially frail and lonely.
Bo Sishen lightly furrowed his brow, controlling his wheelchair to move to the bedside.
He raised his hand, gently caressing her smooth, white face, his deep eyes revealing a touch of warmth.
In the middle of the night, Mu Shini felt the urge to urinate. As she was about to get up, she suddenly felt a heavy sensation on her body, unable to move. In her drowsiness, she thought it was the pillow and reached to remove it. When she touched sothing warm around her waist, she was instantly terrified, her face turning pale, cold sweat breaking out all over her body as she shrieked—
