"You’ve been on a plane for over ten hours. Rest a bit in the car. There’s still five hours to our destination," Bo Sishen said softly, pulling his hand out and stroking her hair.
Upon hearing Bo Sishen’s words, Mu Shini really felt sleepy.
She adjusted her seat, leaned her head against the backrest, and glanced at him, "I’ll sleep first. Once we get to the destination, I’ll talk to you."
She had a lot to say to him.
"Alright, sleep well for a bit."
Bo Sishen looked at her tenderly.
His handso face, usually stern and attractive, now had a rare gentleness.
This gentleness was only visible when he was around Mu Shini.
Bo Sishen drove while keeping an eye on Mu Shini.
It seed she was really exhausted, as she fell asleep almost imdiately after lying down.
He slowed down the car, extending her five-hour sleep to eight hours.
While driving, he sent Tan Mu a ssage: "Eight hours until arrival."
...
Eight hours later.
They arrived at a military base.
Tan Mu waited anxiously at the gate.
When he saw a small sedan approaching, he finally relaxed.
Bo Sishen drove the car through the gate.
He parked the car outside his residence.
Seeing Mu Shini still sleeping.
He got out and opened her car door, intending to carry her out, but Mu Shini woke up.
Mu Shini and Bo Sishen’s eyes t.
"Bo Sishen, we’re here? Why didn’t you wake up?"
Mu Shini rubbed her eyes and asked sleepily.
"You were sleeping so sweetly, I couldn’t bear to wake you," Bo Sishen’s frozen hand gently landed on her hair, tidying her ssy strands.
Mu Shini stretched lazily, hugged his arm, pressed her face to his hand, and said happily, "Bo Sishen, I really like you."
Bo Sishen paused slightly.
Her words were too startling for him.
She said it as her delicate face rubbed against his hand, raising her eyes to gaze deeply at Bo Sishen.
Bo Sishen was affected by her, his whole deanor softened.
He bent down, kissed her forehead, looked at her tenderly, and said, "It’s ti to get out of the car."
"Okay." Mu Shini nodded shyly.
At that mont, Mu Shini accidentally glanced at the screen’s ti.
"Bo Sishen, have I slept for eight hours?"
Mu Shini calculated the ti, astonished, asking Bo Sishen.
"Yes, you seed very tired, so I drove slowly to let you sleep longer," Bo Sishen nodded and said.
Mu Shini was deeply touched.
A five-hour drive turned into eight hours.
And she slept through the journey, unaware of anything!
"You should go rest!"
Mu Shini worried about his condition, after executing tasks for days and driving for over ten hours!
He must be exhausted, extrely tired!
Mu Shini looked at him with concern and got out of the car hurriedly.
"Where do you stay? I’ll prepare a bath and make the bed!" Mu Shini said.
"Sir, there’s still an urgent eting waiting for you..."
Tan Mu approached and whispered to Bo Sishen, reminding him of the upcoming eting.
The eting was originally scheduled for the morning, but Bo Sishen had postponed it upon learning that Mu Shini had arrived in Geneva, driving alone to the airport.
