Suddenly, the Bichon jumped down from Xia Qingqian and made its way to the door with a series of innocent "woofs." It wagged its tail and reached out with its front paw to grab the man’s pant leg.
Xia Qingqian turned around, and when she saw who it was, the smile on her lips imdiately vanished. She hurried over, squatted down, and took the Bichon into her arms.
"Young Master Yao, you’re back..." She dared not et his gaze, fearing he would question her about the puppy.
"Yes." He made a sound in response, his eyes falling on Xia Qingqian, contemplating sothing.
"Give a smile." He suddenly told her. The smile she had under the sunlight just now was so light, so beautiful.
Xia Qingqian raised her eyes in shock, her face stiff as she looked at Beitang Yao, not understanding why he said that.
"Are you deaf?" He reverted to his cold deanor, speaking icily. He didn’t understand why he had such a reaction in his heart when he heard she had a fever a few days ago.
Xia Qingqian was startled by his cold voice and forced a stiff smile.
"Your smile is uglier than crying!" Beitang Yao narrowed his icy eyes. "Who allowed you to keep a dog in the villa?"
With his roar, the puppy in her arms fearfully burrowed deeper into Xia Qingqian’s embrace, scaring her as well. She held the Bichon tightly, "Young Master, please don’t hurt it. I will release it imdiately."
Beitang Yao felt an inexplicable sensation in his heart as he watched her protect the dog. His gaze fell on the puppy, his sword-like eyebrows furrowing tightly: it was a male dog!
Xia Qingqian then handed the Bichon to the approaching maid, her clear eyes still shimring with reluctant light, sorrowfully watching the puppy about to be abandoned by its new owner. She secretly thought to herself: How could soone as arrogant and cold as him ever tolerate a little puppy?
In Beitang Yao’s ink-black eyes, a flash of ruthlessness appeared suddenly. His thin lips moved slightly: "Without my permission, you have no right to make any decisions." His cold and unforgiving voice echoed through the entire living room.
Xia Qingqian stood stunned for a mont. His words made her realize her own status, and her lowered eyes beca even more sombre.
"Young Master, I’m sorry. I’ll personally take it away..." She walked past him in a panic.
When he glanced over, he saw a trace of loneliness on her side profile. His eyebrows tightened, and he took a swift step forward, turning to block her way. His slender fingers lifted her delicate chin, "You should be figuring out how to please , your master, instead of spending your ti and energy on an animal!" Without giving her a chance to respond, he leaned in and bit her tender lips harshly, as if in humiliation or punishnt, sothing seemingly out of his control.
Her face imdiately turned a deep red, spreading to her neck. Her raised pink fist helplessly pressed against Beitang Yao’s chest.
"How dare you refuse my kiss?" His voice was cold as glaciers, making Xia Qingqian shiver. His ruthless eyes missed none of her bewildered and delicate expression.
"Young Master, I didn’t an to..." A fragrant and pleasant perfu wafted into her nose, making Xia Qingqian’s face flush even more. mories of those intimate scenes floated in her mind. He was always rough and unrestrained, but his body always exuded a faint and pleasant perfu. Only by slling that perfu could she not feel that being pressed under him was a painful thing.
