"Didn’t you want to atone for your sins to ? Now that you’re facing death, shouldn’t you be happy? Why frown?" Seeing her face alternating between purple and white, his hand loosened slightly.
As Xia Qingqian struggled to breathe, the grip around her throat slightly relaxed. She seized the chance to gulp a few breaths. She then struggled to regain her voice, "Young Master, I’m sorry..."

He held her head and dragged her to the pool outside the bedroom, rcilessly pushing her into it.
Water splashed, drenching him as she barely had ti to react, coughing up water. She erged, her small hands desperately paddling upwards.
She could feel Beitang Yao standing by the poolside, coldly watching her struggle, not reaching out to pull her up. The pool was one and a half ters deep, and with her unfamiliarity with water, no matter how she paddled, she couldn’t stay afloat.
When she felt the air in her chest cavity, her lungs diminishing, and desperately tried to grasp at the last straw for life, she found nothing to hold onto, sinking entirely. Never to see the myriad rays of sunlight from the other shore, never to breathe fresh air again...
