The driver was still up there at the front.
Mu Yeli stared at the thickening darkness outside.
After a while, he ordered, "Stop the car."
The driver quickly ca to a halt, even though they were in the middle of the main road. Luckily, since they were in a Rolls-Royce, despite the disapproval from onlookers, no one dared to say anything.
Mu Yeli silently got out of the car and walked away.
Leaving the driver in the car, bewildered in the wind.
Sir, should I drive away now... or should I continue to idle in the middle of the road?
Ye Ning jumped out of the car, unsure of where to go.
She grumbled inwardly, this damned Mu Yeli was so domineering.
But then again, his beloved was Ye Zi, no wonder he had such disdain for her. He certainly wouldn’t be kind to her.
Heh, favoring love over friendship...
But they weren’t even friends, to them, she was nothing more than a botherso stumbling block.
That was true, most n probably liked won like Ye Zi, who appeared to be flawless. Although as her sister, only Ye Ning knew that it was just a facade Ye Zi projected.
"Damn it, as if I care about you."
Just as the words left her mouth, she felt soone grab her arm from behind.
She was taken aback and turned around.
Mu Yeli’s dark eyes gazed at her, his face expressionless and unreadable.
Why had he co back?
Mu Yeli glanced around to see nothing but cars. He grabbed her and started walking away.
Ye Ning frowned, "Let go, let go..."
"Enough, stop it."
Mu Yeli glared at her sharply.
Ye Ning pulled her hand away from his.
Mu Yeli quickly removed his jacket.
Ye Ning looked away, her face full of displeasure.
But then, his jacket was draped over her shoulders.
She froze montarily at the pleasant scent and inevitably turned around.
Mu Yeli, looking irritated, glanced at her, "Your clothes are dirty."
Ye Ning reached out to touch her clothes, she could feel a wet patch on the back.
Without uttering a word, she walked off in a huff.
Yet, Mu Yeli quickly followed.
If only she weren’t ill...
"Fine, co ho with ," Mu Yeli suggested.
But Ye Ning wasn’t about to listen to him.
"I’m not going."
"Then at least get changed first," Mu Yeli lowered his head to find his phone so he could call soone to bring clothes, but he realized...
He had rushed out and hadn’t brought anything.
Ye Ning, up ahead, noticed this imdiately.
All of a sudden, she held her head high, Mu Yeli had brought nothing with him?
Great, now let’s see how he acts high and mighty.
"Out of money, huh." Ye Ning teased with a smile.
Mu Yeli frowned.
Ye Ning took out her purse and shook it, "I have money, hahahahaha."
"..."
"Beg , and I’ll call a taxi for you, otherwise... you’ll have to figure out how to get ho by yourself!"
Ye! Ning!
Mu Yeli followed Ye Ning as she continued to walk forward.
Luckily, at this hour, in this area, there weren’t many people.
Still, even so, so people had already begun to notice them.
Both of them stood out in a crowd. Individually, either one of them would have been a standout. Now, standing together, they attracted even more attention.
