That desolate look finally touched people.

"Indeed."

"Yes, excellent emotional resonance."
"A good portrayal of the character’s emotions."
"And not at all pretentious."

Thankfully, in the end, Su Miying held on.
Everyone heaved a sigh of relief.
"Hmm, keep it up." They glanced at each other and chuckled.
Poor Su Miying, to think they were praising her.

Hearing their words, Su Miying felt even happier. Quickly, she responded, "I definitely will."
Smiling from ear to ear, Su Miying approached Ye Ning and shot a provocative smile at her.
Ye Ning’s eyes were still red, although her tears had dried.
With an arrogant glance at Ye Ning, Su Miying strode straight inside.
Once inside, the people close to her rushed up, asking, "So, how did it go?"
Casually, Su Miying replied, "Of course, I made it."
"Really? But it seed like the expressions of the judges were a bit... off?"
With certainty, Su Miying said, "It’s a done deal. Didn’t you see? They were excited. I heard them saying my performance was excellent, filled with emotion, and had good tension."
"Really? That’s great then." Hearing her say so, they finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Ye Ning smiled and said, "I hope so too."
Everyone overheard Su Miying being celebrated as she left. Speechlessly, they comnted, "That Su Miying, she is too self-centered."
"Absolutely zero professionalism."
"She actually thought we were praising her. Doesn’t she know how she perford?"
Ye Ning glanced back and also shook her head.
"Nevermind her." The judges said to Ye Ning, "Rest assured, we will vote for you this round."
"Thank you." Ye Ning bowed her head in gratitude.
