This leader is called Wei Digao, everyone calls him President Wei, and in terms of rank, he is the sa as Qian Guran.

President Wei is not tall, with a round head and short stature, but he keeps himself well. It’s said that there’s a half-marathon certificate hanging in his office, indicating he once participated in a half-marathon and finished within the set ti.

According to Huang Xiaopang, who used to work at the group headquarters, he has another nickna called "Skinny Pighead" because he is not fat at all.

Actually, He Kao has also t Wei Digao when he first joined the Qi Yuan Branch a couple of years ago. President Wei had co for a business trip then, but He Kao didn’t have much of an impression of him at that ti.

At the end of last year, Qian Guran visited the group headquarters for a debriefing and took so actions regarding certain matters. After the Spring Festival, under the group’s directive, President Wei ca to evaluate the business developnt of the Qi Yuan Branch.

On the night of President Wei’s arrival in Qi Yuan, Qian Guran gathered the departnt heads for a banquet to welco him. President Wei specifically asked—why wasn’t Gao Xue’e there?

President Wei t Gao Xue’e several years ago and was very impressed by her. Or in another sense, he might have been quite interested in this beauty, but had little opportunity to interact with her before.

This ti, President Wei’s inspection of the Qi Yuan Branch also carried another agenda. Qian Guran had already suggested to the group headquarters to recomnd Gao Xue’e as the newly appointed vice president of the Qi Yuan Branch.

This matter was more or less settled, and purely from the perspective of experience and business, no faults could be found with Gao Xue’e.

But President Wei believed that his inspection opinion was crucial for Gao Xue’e’s smooth promotion and wanted to have a private conversation with her.

Qian Guran explained that Gao Xue’e had family matters and had taken an extra week’s leave after the Spring Festival. But after a few drinks, President Wei called Gao Xue’e directly.

During this period, Gao Xue’e was in seclusion practicing, though not in deep ditation; she needed to clear her mind and avoid distractions. Even He Kao tried not to see her, only communicating briefly when she needed guidance...

However, when President Wei made the call, Gao Xue’e happened to be between cultivation sessions, so she answered it casually.

President Wei asked where Gao Xue’e was, adding that he was inspecting the Qi Yuan Branch and that the new vice president selection was under discussion, implying that the evaluation was important for her.

Gao Xue’e didn’t pay much attention and casually ntioned she was in Qi Yuan but had other matters and would return to work next week. Hearing she was in Qi Yuan, President Wei was imdiately invigorated, urging her to co over for a drink.

Gao Xue’e apologized, explained she truly couldn’t make it, wished President Wei success at work, and then hung up the phone.

By now, Gao Xue’e counted as having achieved in her cultivation, her mindset stabilizing. This seclusion was intended for focused cultivation aiming to break the realm, thus she didn’t take the call seriously.

She happened to see the call co in, answered it, and then turned off her phone to avoid further disturbances, thus missing subsequent ssages from President Wei and naturally not replying to them.

President Wei was unhappy, making so remarks at the dinner table, ostensibly discussing work, pointing out various shortcomings, but targeting the business led by Gao Xue’e.

The next morning at the office, President Wei had a private conversation with Qian Guran, specifically ntioning the Cloud Living project group led by Gao Xue’e.

According to him, the departnt’s business prospects were promising, highly valued by group leaders, yet Gao Xue’e seed sowhat lacking in responsibility, etc.

In essence, he was hinting for Qian Guran to pass a ssage to Gao Xue’e, but Qian Guran just laughed it off and didn’t take the bait, later informing He Kao about it instead.

In fact, there was no need for Qian Guran to relay it since during President Wei’s chat in Qian Guran’s office, He Kao was present.

He Kao already had intel, as deputy supervisor Huang Xiaopang was also at the banquet yesterday. Huang Xiaopang inford He Kao of the dinner situation, and He Kao was aware that President Wei would "inspect" the company today.

So just before President Wei entered Qian Guran’s office, He Kao quietly employed the Tuo She Divine Techniques.

At that mont, He Kao was sitting at his desk, seemingly engrossed in reading a docunt, but in reality, his Primordial Spirit had left his body, transferring into Wei Digao’s body.

This sensation was as if President Wei’s body beca his own, he could hear "himself" speaking, yet the voice was President Wei’s, feeling all the senses of this body.

He Kao rely remained quietly latent, making no other moves and certainly not attempting to manipulate this body.

Qian Guran, being a Tier Four Governnt Official with Qi Observation Skill, did not notice anything unusual about President Wei in front of him, possibly because he never imagined such a thing could happen... Whatever the two leaders discussed, He Kao heard it all.

With He Kao’s cultivation, he could have eavesdropped with Divine Sense, but that’s different from Tuo She.

Firstly, Qian Guran is also a cultivator, and extending Divine Sense to probe the activity in his office might get detected. Secondly, there are nurous thods to shield against Divine Sense probing, such as setting up an appropriate array.

But by using Tuo She, not only did Qian Guran fail to notice, even arrays were rendered ineffective.

In the state of Tuo She, He almost had no emotional fluctuation, but after retrieving his consciousness, he was quite angry. Gao Xue’e hadn’t provoked President Wei, yet President Wei clearly intended to pick on her!

There’s another question that might interest soone, which is whether Tuo She can "read minds"? The answer is both yes and no, depending on the extent to which one wishes to interpret.
