If i Guyu hadn’t acted, the hidden Slaughter Array within the Illusion Array would have been enough to deal with Li Xiuyuan. The large scale of their operation also aid to prevent others from coming to rescue these two Sect Law Hall Elders.
More insidiously, Fabre was hovering with a Flying Divine Artifact, ready to ambush and deliver fatal blows at any mont.

While He Kao was a bit slow to react out of shock, he managed to act just in ti as sothing flew out from his embrace.
The object resembled a rectangular wooden board, or rather two boards stacked together, which unfolded into a square chessboard.
When i Guyu acted, she sent him a divine thought briefly instructing him to activate the Array of Ten Thousand Woods Rejuvenation for a strike.
Arrays co in many types, with substantial differences that can’t be briefly explained.
Firstly, there is the type like the Four Seasons Flowering Array that the four elders set up in the Immortal Pot Grotto Heaven. The array relies on the Four Seasons Flower Screen for its function, with each person temporarily becoming a node of the array.

Is the Jade Phoenix Tree the core of the Array of Ten Thousand Woods Rejuvenation? The answer is both yes and no! The Jade Phoenix Tree is the core node of the array, with the array covering an area of several dozen miles around Pugang Town, conveniently encompassing Joy Valley within.
But the Array Core that controls the Grand Array is actually a Magical Artifact, which is the chessboard Jiang Daozhen used for setting up his stall. Together with the chess pieces, it’s now left to He Kao, making it a set of Array Artifacts.
If the chessboard is taken elsewhere, He Kao, who already has Fourth Realm Cultivation, can still set up the Array of Ten Thousand Woods Rejuvenation, but without the support of the Earth Qi Spirit Core from around Pugang Town.

i Guyu’s sword light transford into rain shooting in all directions, with most of the rain threads cutting towards the Fabre in the sky. Fabre was also taken aback, utterly unprepared for such a situation.
Fabre used the Flying Divine Artifact Heaven-reaching Feather to swiftly escape into the high sky, flapping his wings to shoot out a series of Wind Blades to et the sword light. He, like the Illusion Master, couldn’t withstand the Rainfall Divine Sword either!
Fortunately, with the Divine Artifact for protection and with a favorable position, along with the cooperation of the six on the ground, it wasn’t entirely hopeless...
As thoughts quickly turned in Fabre’s mind, he had already neutralized the incoming sword light. The Divine Sword’s power wasn’t as great as imagined; although i Guyu’s strike couldn’t be said to be a feint, it was at least half a feint, intended just to temporarily force him back.
At the sa ti, He Kao had already activated the Array of Ten Thousand Woods Rejuvenation, launching the strike left by Gu Chun.

But as they ran, the battle formation collapsed, allowing i Guyu to leisurely strike them down one by one. However fast their movent technique was, could it be faster than the sword light?
Only hearing i Guyu let out a clear call, accompanied by the phoenix-like sword hum, the sword light shot out like electricity, twisting and coiling in the valley, with a continuous sound of sharp howling, consecutively pursuing and cutting down the five, returning afterwards.
The sword light then transford back into a Steel Ruler embedded in the side of the shoulder bag, without a trace of blood, nor emitting any murderous aura.
The valley returned to silence once again, suddenly followed by a loud crash, as the Ferris wheel not far away collapsed with a thunderous blast, raising a cloud of dust.
