Now reading: Chapter 248: Integration from High Martial Arts: Enlightenment after Practices, a Eastern novel by Nothing But Effort.

Han Mo’s voice echoed steadily throughout the reception room, carrying a penetrating clarity.

"This ’Thrust’ of yours is no longer just a move in your Spear Technique. It’s beginning to touch upon the fringes of the True Intention of Martial Arts."

Xu Wuyi’s Heart and Spirit stirred, and his gaze fixed intently on his teacher.

Qiao Zhiyao also pricked up her ears.

"The so-called True Intention of Martial Arts," Han Mo continued after picking up the virtual clear tea before him and taking a sip, "is the embodint of a Martial Artist’s will, refined and elevated from their understanding of Martial Arts, the world, and themselves."

"You use ’Mountain’ as your foundation and ’Burn’ as your path. These two are an excellent combination—one for defense, one for offense; one for stability, one for ferocity. They complent each other perfectly."

"And this ’Thrust’ Intention that has materialized in your Spear Technique is sharp, focused, and relentless. If you continue to develop it, it could certainly form a third True Intention of Martial Arts."

Xu Wuyi’s brow furrowed slightly. He didn’t imdiately feel happy, but instead asked, "Teacher, are you saying I shouldn’t pursue this third True Intention?"

A look of approval appeared in Han Mo’s eyes.

The fact that he wasn’t swept away by the temptation of "gaining another True Intention of Martial Arts" was a testant to his comndable character.

"It’s not that you shouldn’t pursue it, but there’s no need to deliberately force it." Han Mo set down his teacup. He tapped his finger lightly in midair, and a soft glow of Qi and Blood materialized, forming several flowing runes. "When it cos to the True Intention of Martial Arts, quality is more important than quantity."

"Look at these runes. Each one represents a type of understanding of Martial Arts. If they were separated, each one could potentially form an independent True Intention of Martial Arts."

As he spoke, the runes began to intermingle and overlap, finally transforming into an even more complex wheel of light that held multiple layers of profound Intention.

"But a true master won’t let their True Intentions of Martial Arts beco disparate and chaotic. They choose the one or two most suited to their path to serve as a core foundation. All other insights are then integrated into that core, serving as supplents and embellishnts."

"When an Innate Martial Artist at the Heart Image Realm manifests their Heart Image, it often contains many different layers of Intention. It’s a comprehensive reflection of their understanding of Martial Arts."

"But if you perceive it carefully, you will find that two or three Intentions will always be the most prominent, forming the very skeleton and soul of the Heart Image."

A look of understanding dawned on Xu Wuyi’s face as he recalled the wooden carving Grandmaster Yue Lianshan had given him.

Though the Intention contained within the carving had vanished after he used it once, that incomparably powerful will remained deeply seared into his mind.

That will seed to have the lting Furnace as its foundation, yet it also contained many different nuances.

Listening from the side, Qiao Zhiyao only half-understood, but she vaguely grasped the underlying principle: having more wasn’t necessarily better. The key was integrating it all into sothing uniquely one’s own.

After a long mont, Xu Wuyi slowly raised his head, clarity returning to his eyes.

"I understand, Teacher. Thank you for your guidance."

Han Mo nodded slightly. "It’s good that you understand. Your path is still long; there’s no need to rush."

"Cultivation in the Martial Master Realm hinges on the growth of one’s Spirit. While daily accumulation is important, monts of Enlightennt are even more crucial."

Xu Wuyi was lost in thought.

’Enlightennt...? I’m all too familiar with that.’

’To be honest, as my proficiency with the Hundred Refinents lting Furnace has increased, the benefits from my daily Hundred Chances of Enlightennt have started to diminish. They mostly serve to polish my fundantals now.’

’This constant process of identifying and correcting my weaknesses has made my foundation incredibly solid, far beyond that of an ordinary person. That’s why my promotion to Martial Artist was so natural.’

’If spiritual growth really does rely on Enlightennt, maybe that’s where I should focus my efforts.’

Han Mo then turned to Qiao Zhiyao. "Zhiyao, even though you haven’t reached this level yet, you should rember what I’ve said today."

"On the path of cultivation, you must always ask yourself: What am I really learning and practicing for? What is the core of my Martial Arts?"

Qiao Zhiyao nodded solemnly. "Yes, Teacher, I’ll rember."

An hour later, the guidance session ended, and Xu Wuyi’s consciousness withdrew from the Battle Network.

In the underground Cultivation Room, he slowly opened his eyes.

Han Mo’s words echoed repeatedly in his mind.

’Integrate... not add...’

He stood up and walked to the center of the Cultivation Room. Instead of imdiately picking up his long spear, he closed his eyes and began to reflect on his cultivation journey.

First, there was his cultivation of the Mountain Shifting Technique, enduring hardship under a waterfall until he grasped the weight and persistence of the ’Mountain’ Intention. Then ca the Hundred Refinents lting Furnace, where he tempered himself with Heart Fire and, within an illusion, finally comprehended the will of ’Burn’—the will to incinerate all injustice in the world.

Indeed, these two had ford the very skeleton of his Martial Arts heart.

’Then what about ’Thrust’?’

Xu Wuyi recalled the spear thrust he had delivered against the Wolfman War General in the Celestial Spirit Star Realm.

It was a strike that had condensed all his Spirit and Qi and Blood, along with an absolute will forged in a life-or-death mont. It was sharp, piercing, and utterly relentless.

Within this ’Thrust’ was the explosive intensity and tenacity of ’Burn’—a vow to not rest until the target was incinerated. It also held the focused stability of ’Mountain’—concentrating all power into a single point to shatter a defense.

’I see.’ Xu Wuyi opened his eyes, a flash of realization in their depths.

’This ’Thrust’ isn’t sothing new and separate from ’Mountain’ and ’Burn’. It’s a quality that naturally erged from their fusion, with the Spear Technique as its vessel.’

’That being the case, why should I force it to beco a third True Intention of Martial Arts?’

’Wouldn’t it be better to let it naturally rge into the system of ’Mountain’ and ’Burn’, becoming the unique cutting edge of my Spear Technique?’

As this realization settled in, Xu Wuyi felt his mind beco crystal clear, as if an invisible weight had been lifted from his shoulders.

He picked up the teor Iron Long Spear. He didn’t imdiately practice the Shocking God Spear, but instead started over from the most basic thrusts.

One thrust, then another, and another.

His movents were slow, but with each thrust, he carefully savored the nuances of the Intention within.

The weight of ’Mountain’ made his Spear Montum steady and his foundation firm. The ferocity of ’Burn’ made his Spear Intention tenacious, able to pierce through anything. And the sharpness of ’Thrust,’ born from their union, made the spear’s tip impossibly sharp, capable of breaking through any defense.

Gradually, the three nuances of Intention began to ld together within his Spear Technique.

They were no longer separate, but intertwined, each containing a part of the others.

A single thrust now carried the stable foundation of ’Mountain’ and the fierce will of ’Burn’, culminating in a force of unparalleled sharpness and penetration.

HUMMM!

After hundreds of thrusts—he had lost count—the spear tip suddenly let out a faint, vibrating hum.

Xu Wuyi could clearly feel the Qi and Blood and Spiritual Will flowing through the spear’s shaft. They were more flawlessly harmonious than before, as if they had found their perfect ratio and rhythm.

He stopped and checked the panel that appeared in his mind.

[Martial Art: Shocking God Spear]

[Current Realm: Entry Level (3.2%)]

Just a single mont of realization and adjustnt had increased his proficiency by nearly three percent!

To Xu Wuyi’s even greater surprise, as his Shocking God Spear broke through, his comprehension of Spiritual Cultivation also deepened.

The Heart Fire Refining Spirit technique from his Minor Achievent stage of the Hundred Refinents lting Furnace now operated far more smoothly than before.
