But he had no choice.

"Iron Armor Camp, Squads Two and Three!"

Lei Zhen roared.

"Abandon the front line! Head to the fire imdiately and establish a firebreak!"

"Get that fire under control!"

"Wang Defa! Contract the defensive periter! Defend the residential area to the last man!"

"Don’t let a single fly get through!"

"Roger!"

At Lei Zhen’s command, the once-impenetrable Heavy Armor formation imdiately split its forces in half.

Twenty-five Iron Wall-IVs took heavy strides and charged toward the blaze.

Watching their strongest shield wall be willingly broken apart, Zhou Ping in the Command Tower and everyone on the tarmac felt their hearts sink.

In the valley, the black-robed old man clearly saw the changes at the distant farm through a monocular telescope.

"Excellent... Excellent!"

He let out a laugh like a night owl’s hoot.

"Lei Zhen, you’ve taken the bait."

He whispered to the ssenger cultist beside him, "Inform the infiltration team. Prepare to move."

"Wait for the fire to grow larger. Wait until all their attention is on firefighting, then strike!"

Just as a dead silence fell over the tarmac, with everyone at a loss, the quiet Han Feng suddenly spoke up.

"Captain."

Zhang Hao turned at the sound of his voice. "What is it?"

"I need to take off."

Han Feng’s tone was calm.

But his words made everyone erupt.

Everyone was stunned, staring at him as if he were a lunatic.

"Han Feng, are you running a fever?"

Wang ng’s eyes widened.

"One hundred twenty ters! You want to take off in the Gray Donkey?"

"How is that any different from suicide?"

The Gray Donkey is a heavy support aircraft. Its takeoff weight is double that of the Hunting Falcon, and it requires a longer runway.

"I know it’s difficult."

Han Feng pointed to his plane.

"But it’s not entirely impossible."

"How is that possible?!"

Gu Yun was the first to jump in and object.

"Do you think aerodynamics are just for show?"

"With a hundred and twenty ters, you can’t build up enough speed! Forcing a pull-up will only make you stall and crash!"

"You’ll destroy the plane and get yourself killed!"

"I have my own way."

Han Feng didn’t explain further. He just looked at Zhang Hao, his gaze exceptionally serious.

"Captain, right now, I’m the only one who can solve the problem in the sky."

"Let try."

Zhang Hao stared into Han Feng’s eyes.

He recalled Han Feng’s unbelievable flight path during the canyon assessnt.

He recalled the "enchanted" bullet on the shooting range that had pierced the Tier Two Alloy Plate.

He recalled last night’s incredibly precise and fatal shot from the air that had blasted a cultist off the wall.

This new team mber was full of secrets, always managing to do things that defied logic yet were extrely effective.

He walked up to Han Feng and clapped him firmly on the shoulder.

"I trust you."

Those two simple words ward Han Feng’s heart.

"Alright."

He wasted no more words, turning and striding toward the cockpit of the Gray Donkey.

"He’s crazy! You’re all crazy!"

Gu Yun stared at Zhang Hao in disbelief.

"Captain, do you really believe he can take off? It’s only a hundred and twenty ters!"

Zhang Hao ignored him, simply grabbing his communicator and yelling to the Command Tower, "All ground crew, evacuate the area!"

"Gray Donkey, preparing for a forced takeoff!"

The entire field went dead silent.

Everyone’s gaze was fixed on the ugly, cumberso aircraft.

Han Feng sat in the cockpit, his hands gripping the control stick.

A cold sensation spread from it, yet he felt as if it were an extension of his own body.

He closed his eyes, then snapped them open.

[Talent: Spiritual Vision (Active)]

[Core Skill: Sword Control Technique (Mastery)]

’Gray Donkey, buddy.’

Han Feng whispered in his mind.

’Ti for a wild ride.’

At the end of the runway, the ugly Gray Donkey was poised to strike, its engine letting out a low growl.

In the shadows of the hangar, everyone’s hearts were in their throats.

"He’s really going to fly?"

Wang ng muttered to himself, his burly fra tense with anxiety.

"A lunatic. Definitely a lunatic."

Gu Yun stared intently at the plane, not blinking once.

Though he cursed on the surface, deep down there was a sliver of anticipation he wouldn’t even admit to himself.

Inside the cockpit, Han Feng slowly closed his eyes.

The Mystical Techniques of Mastery Level Sword Control Technique flowed through his mind.

The aircraft was no longer a cold machine, but a part of his body, an extension of his will.

He could feel every pulse of Spiritual Power within the engine, every bit of friction between the wings and the air.

’Now!’

Han Feng’s eyes snapped open, a sharp glint flashing within them.

He didn’t slowly advance the throttle like in a conventional takeoff. Instead, he slamd it all the way forward in an instant!

BOOM—!

The Gray Donkey’s engine erupted with an unprecedented roar. It was no longer an old growl, but a high-pitched, powerful shriek!

The entire airfra trembled violently, as if injected with Energy far beyond its limits.

The massive airfra shot forward.

"Th-this acceleration!"

A ground crew mber, blown back several steps by the powerful air current, cried out in shock.

Everyone on the tarmac, Zhang Hao included, stared with wide eyes.

This wasn’t the kind of takeoff speed a heavy support aircraft should have!

Its ferocious posture was even more terrifying than Gu Yun’s Scarlet Witch—a craft known for its speed—at a full sprint!

The runway blurred and receded beneath the wheels.

Fifty ters!

Eighty ters!

One hundred ters!

In just a few seconds, it had already covered most of the one-hundred-and-twenty-ter distance!

The end of the runway was just ahead!

"It has enough speed! It had enough speed long ago!"

Gu Yun cried out, his treasured knowledge of flight theory completely overturned in this instant.

Just as the nose was about to shoot past the edge of the runway, Han Feng roared in his mind: ’Up!’

The Qi Blood in his body surged wildly, pouring through his arms into the control stick, and then, through the Spiritual Link, instantly suffused the entire fighter!

This wasn’t a conventional pull-up, but a brutally powerful ’lift’!

WHIR!

The Gray Donkey, weighing dozens of tons, let out a tallic groan as if on the verge of collapse, its nose forcibly yanked up at an angle that completely defied aerodynamics!

The entire aircraft practically leaped straight up, the flas from its tail leaving a scorched black mark on the concrete runway.

The plane didn’t crash. There wasn’t even the slightest sign of a stall.

It was held up by an invisible force, breaking from the ground in an instant with an incredibly domineering posture, and soared diagonally into the night sky.

The entire field was dead silent.

Everyone stared up, dumbfounded, at the miraculous scene.

Gu Yun’s mouth hung open, and he didn’t even notice when the Lucky Coin in his hand fell to the ground.

His mind went completely blank.

’This isn’t scientific! This isn’t scientific at all!’

"F... uck..."

Wang ng, after holding it in for a long mont, finally managed to force out a single word, an expression of utter shock on his face.

In the Command Tower, Lei Zhen’s one eye was wide as a saucer. He subconsciously straightened up as the ash from the cheap cigarette in his mouth fell all over him.

"This kid... is he a monster?"

The Gray Donkey carved a powerful arc through the air and quickly stabilized.

Feeling a sense of familiarity from the aircraft, Han Feng’s lips curved into a slight smile.

Without a mont’s delay, he turned the nose of the plane and flew toward the brightest point of the fire in the distance.
