The examiner from the Martial Arts Association knew well that this wasn’t done intentionally by the person in front of them.

When any aspect of a martial artist’s qi and blood, martial montum, or spiritual power becos powerful enough, they naturally exude an oppressive aura through their every gesture, often without realizing it themselves.

All present were geniuses here to participate in the selection contest, and their perception of such aura was far superior to that of ordinary martial artists, making their impressions even more profound.

Thus, no one was willing to approach Su Mu, fearing they might fall into this several-ter-wide forbidden zone.

Additionally, people inherently have an instinct and intuition to seek fortune and avoid disaster; martial artists are only more sensitive in this respect, and instinctively wish to stay away from danger.

This examiner from the Martial Arts Association was not unaccustod to such situations, but he had only felt it on the few presidents of the association, who were all true Martial Arts Grandmasters!

And as if perhaps it was an illusion, he felt the intangible aura of the person before him was no weaker than that of the presidents.

This made the examiner feel incredulous.

Surely a grandmaster isn’t participating in the selection contest?!

At once, the examiner couldn’t help but ask, "You, what’s your na?"

"Su Mu."

Su Mu spoke these two words calmly.

The words fell like thunder, imdiately silencing the entire venue for a mont before stirring an uproar.

"Su Mu?!"

"What, this person is that One-Slash Asura Su Mu?"

"No wonder he’s so terrifying, worthy of being the monster ranked thirty-third on the Celestial Pride List."

"I had so doubts before, but now I believe this person can slash a grandmaster’s palm with one blow!"

"Su Mu has appeared?!"

The many reporters gathered at the entrance imdiately perked up, all rising on tiptoes and raising their caras to fiercely snap pictures of Su Mu, creating a continuous flashing of lights.

Upon hearing Su Mu state his na, the examiner gave Su Mu a long look, committing his face to mory, and then left a word to maintain order before hurriedly departing.

Seeing even the examiner unable to manage and directly leave, the girl behind Su Mu felt sowhat distraught.

Thus, a peculiar "several-ter forbidden zone" spectacle ford around Su Mu.

The journalists recording this scene frowned thoughtfully about what eye-catching, sensational headline they should give, when a photographer muttered.

"No one dares to co within a zhang of him, it’s practically a zhang forbidden zone."

"A zhang forbidden zone?!"

"That title is good, let’s use that."

Su Mu himself was sowhat helpless; he had actually been trying hard to restrain himself, and he was also a bit puzzled, thirty-third place?

Wasn’t he ranked at the bottom of the top one hundred?

Ti passed slowly, and from within the stadium ca a voice, "Next batch, you can co in now."

The people in front of Su Mu entered the stadium almost fleeing, and the girl behind him quietly counted; finally, it was Su Mu’s turn, he was the last of this batch.

Seeing Su Mu leave, the girl let out a long sigh of relief.

Standing behind Su Mu was really too stressful, every mont spent there caused her confidence to diminish a bit, as she couldn’t help but think about competing on the sa stage against such a monster.

Fortunately, the ordeal was finally over.

Su Mu was guided to the third underground floor of the stadium, where there were individual testing rooms, with many white-clad dical staff present.

The individual testing rooms prevented participants from affecting each other during the tests.

Outside each testing room stood two examiners, one from the Martial Arts Association, and one from the Southern War Zone.

"Su Mu?!"

The two of them noticeably flinched when verifying Su Mu’s identity, both involuntarily taking a few extra looks at him; before entering, the person from the Southern War Zone spoke.

"Captain Su Mu, may your martial arts flourish."

"Thanks."

After entering the testing room, Su Mu lay down on a sowhat sci-fi-looking instrunt, much like a sleep chamber from the movies, under the guidance of the dical staff.

"Don’t be nervous, just think of this as a regular qi and blood test, no different from what you usually do at the association, just relax."

After saying this, the dical staff looked towards the three examiners inside the testing room, one of whom went to a tal cabinet to retrieve a box of blood collection needles, then approached Su Mu to show that it was unopened.

"Are you ready?" an examiner inquired out of routine.

Su Mu took a deep breath, and with every breath in and out, that heart within his chest beat powerfully, an indistinct sound of surging waves echoed across the testing room.

Thump, thump, thump.

The heartbeat, like a war drum, resonated through the room as an invisible pressure emanated from Su Mu, who stopped suppressing himself and entered the zone.

In an instant, the four people in the testing room suddenly turned pale, and the dical staff closest to Su Mu felt their own blood raging, then reversed its flow.

He gasped for breath and stumbled back several steps, his face filled with disbelief, his eyes showing horror.

The few individuals had prepared themselves upon hearing that the next one to be tested was Su Mu, but his terror still far exceeded their expectations.

Lying inside the testing device, Su Mu was like a giant dragon, now fully awakened, unleashing a terrifying dragon’s might.

"It’s done." Su Mu spoke calmly.

The dical staff panted heavily, large beads of sweat forming on his forehead, as he concentrated his qi and blood to step towards Su Mu.

At this mont, the examiner unsealed the blood collection needle’s packaging and handed it to the dical staff.

Just as the dical staff took the needle, Su Mu, lying on the instrunt, remarked.

"Ordinary needles won’t work, change it."

The hand of the dical staff paused, then he spoke in a low voice: "Rest assured, the needles used for the selection contest have been heavily tested and can be fully used for martial artists below grandmaster level."

The three examiners exchanged glances and frowned slightly; there was no such procedure to change needles in this process, and they didn’t quite understand what Su Mu ant.

Is he putting on airs?

"Let’s try it first."

Upon hearing this, a surge of anger rose in the hearts of the three examiners and the dical staff; they thought Su Mu was too arrogant, as even those from the Martial Arts Association or Martial Arts Families had never requested changing the blood collection needle.

The dical staff skillfully replaced the instrunt with four needles, then started the machine.

Buzz.

The machine started, the special glass cover closed, and the blood collection needles moved towards Su Mu’s limbs, stopping right at his skin.

"Hmm? What’s going on?"

The dical staff thought the instrunt’s program had malfunctioned and restarted it.

Snap.

A crisp sound rang out, followed by four consecutive sounds.

The blood collection needles, which the dical staff assured could be used on martial artists below grandmaster level, all snapped; as the needles broke, the machine automatically retracted.

The pupils of the four sharply contracted, they realized that not even a mark was left on Su Mu’s skin, which was completely unhard!

For a mont, the room fell into a deathly silence, the individuals were left in a daze, unable to speak for quite so ti.

"Have you perhaps already advanced to Martial Arts Grandmaster?"

After a long while, an examiner hesitantly asked.

Hearing the question from his companion, the other three trembled all over, completely incredulous.

Su Mu shook his head, "I’ve just cultivated a body tempering martial art, making my skin thicker than ordinary martial artists, so you should use a better blood collection needle, perhaps try a grandmaster level one."

The four froze in place upon hearing this, their mouths twitching incessantly.

This is called slightly thicker skin?

The blood collection needles for those below grandmaster level completely snapped!

And... what do you an by trying a grandmaster level one?

The four could clearly hear uncertainty in Su Mu’s tone, was he doubting whether a grandmaster level needle could collect his blood?

The four had served as examiners for several selection contests, but Su Mu’s situation, breaking all the needles, was sothing they encountered for the first ti.

Is this not sowhat ridiculous?
