"Issei… can you only see as a sister? Not as a girl anymore…?" Miu asked.
"Huh…?" I froze, mind blank.
The dark room—thanks to Irina flipping the switch—had pinned to the futon with Miu straddling . No wonder I was confused.
As I scrambled to process, she spoke again. "Well…?"
"Why ask that?" I stamred. A girl, not just a sister… and she called Issei, not Onii-chan.
"I… I love you, Issei. As a brother and as a man," she said, leaning closer.
Her words hit hard. "You, Dad, and Mom welcod into the family. I'm so happy. Going out with you, studying—every day's fun. My feelings for you grew stronger. Rember when I said I liked you, early in second year?"
"Yeah," I nodded. Before I beca a devil, before Rias and Asia. After Matsuda and Motohama explained why no one confessed to her—a total beauty—she admitted she loved . Still vivid.
"Those feelings haven't changed. They're bigger now. But I held back," she said.
"Held back? Why?"
"I was a demon princess from a defeated nation. I could've been executed. You saved , Issei. I'm smiling because of you. Asking for more felt… like tempting fate."
She continued, "But when you fell against Rosword in Ast Aade, I regretted not telling you everything. You ca back, but next ti… And now, with the Khaos Brigade…"
She was right. Rosword killed once; Ignis and Sirius brought back. No guarantee next ti. The Khaos Brigade's involved again—tougher foes, and my gauntlet's out. Danger's real, and I could die again.
Her grip tightened. "I don't want regrets! So I'm saying it now—I love you, Issei! More than anyone!"
Tears fell from her eyes onto my cheeks, rolling to the futon. She cared that much.
Her feelings reached . How could they not? My sister—no, Miu—poured her heart out.
What about my feelings?
"Miu, I—"
Click. The door swung open! I instinctively pulled Miu close.
Who's this?!
A man in a white coat—our horoom teacher. "Lights out, Hyoudou. Already asleep, huh?"
Just a patrol! Sorry for cursing you, Sensei, you're just doing your job!
"Sleeping kids grow, huh? Most students stay up later on trips. Fine, makes my night easier. Ti for so DVDs." He shut the door and left.
My heart's pounding! Why's this so intense?
"Wait, he said I'm asleep?" I muttered.
"I tweaked the barrier," Miu said. "To others, you're just sleeping. They can't see or hear us."
Damn, she's thorough.
I sighed heavily. Miu, blushing, fidgeted. "Um… about my question…"
Right, gotta answer. It's already clear.
I hugged her tighter, stroking her head. "I love you too, Miu. As a sister and as a girl."
My honest truth. Sure, I'm a sis-con, but I've always had feelings for her as a girl too. I kept it hidden since she saw as her brother.
She sighed in relief. "I was worried you'd hate for saying this…"
"No way I'd hate you. I love everything about you—your cuteness, your clumsiness, all of it."
"Thank you, Issei… Onii-chan," she said, tearing up with a joyful smile.
We held each other for a while. That night, our sibling bond took a step further.
Miu sat up. Ti to head back? I thought.
"One more thing, okay?" she said, eyes resolute.
"Hm?"
"I… want you, Onii-chan…"
My brain short-circuited again.
"Is that… okay?" she asked.
I snapped back. "W-WHAT?!"
"Shh, too loud!" She clamped my mouth shut.
"Mmph!" I tapped her hands—I'm dying here!
She let go. "Sorry! You were so loud…"
"My bad… but the barrier's up, right?"
"Oh, yeah… sorry."
"No, I shouldn't have yelled."
Nearly died there.
But what did she say?! No mistake—she ant that, right?!
"Um…" I started.
"Am I not good enough? Would you prefer Alice or the others?" she asked.
"No way! I'm thrilled you feel this way!"
But this is fast! From confession to this?!
"Not fast," she said. "I've wanted this forever."
"Forever?! You read my mind?!"
"You're easy to read, Onii-chan."
Am I that obvious? Even to Koneko-chan? Should I train to hide my expressions? Too late.
Deep breath. She loves as a man, and I feel the sa. Stepping beyond siblings is fine if our feelings align.
And now… she wants this.
I'm happy—beyond happy. If she wants , I'll take responsibility as a man.
One problem. "I… don't have those," I said.
"Those?" she tilted her head.
"Y'know… those…" Ugh, so embarrassing, but for her sake— "If we do this without, you might… get pregnant. We're still students, that's bad, right?"
"Oh, con○doms?" she said bluntly.
Whoa, straight to the point! I was dodging it!
"No worries, I've got so!" She pulled a box from her sleeve—12-pack!
Why does she have these?! A whole box?! Planning a marathon?!
Maybe she just grabbed the whole box instead of individual ones. Yeah, that's it. When did she even buy them?
"All good now, right?" she asked.
"Y-Yeah…"
Is she too eager?
She untied her yukata, letting it slip off. No underwear. Just… Miu.
"Onii-chan…" Her sultry gaze t mine as she kissed , arms locking around .
I'm at my limit. "Miu," I said, flipping her onto the futon, hovering over her.
Her body tensed briefly, then relaxed. I looked into her eyes for one last check. "I love you, Miu. But… are you sure I'm enough?"
"Of course. I can't imagine anyone else," she said, touching my cheek with a smile.
"Got it." I smiled back.
No more questions. We kissed again, entwining in the dark.
I'll never let Miu be sad. Never let her cry tears of sorrow.
How many tis have I sworn this? Doesn't matter—I'll keep swearing it.
I'll protect her days of heartfelt smiles.
"Ugh… morning already?" I groaned, checking the clock—5 a.m. Habit from training, even on a school trip. But my body's heavy, like after a brutal fight.
What happened?
I bolted upright. I'm naked! And beside —Miu, also naked!
"Morning, Onii-chan," she said.
"You're awake?"
"Yeah, savoring the mont."
Mont…
Wait…
I grabbed the box—her box. Empty.
No way…
I checked the trash. Used things and tissues—tons of them.
Twelve rounds?! Like a boxing title match?!
My mory's fuzzy… Miu took the lead, didn't she? She was intense. I was outmatched.
I turned to her, radiant. "You okay? Not sore?" I asked.
"Totally fine!" she chirped.
Unreal. Demon King's daughter stamina is no joke.
"Our voices didn't leak, right?" We were loud—bad if anyone heard.
"Nope, all good. I dropped the barrier after you passed out. It held till then. No one saw or heard," she said.
"Phew… wait, I passed out first?"
She's a beast.
She blushed. "We… did it, huh?"
"Yeah…" We rocketed up the adult stairs. Didn't expect this on a school trip.
She fidgeted. "What now?"
"I think we keep living like always. We shared our feelings, but we're still siblings."
"Right. I love you as a man, but also as my Onii-chan."
"Exactly." We chuckled.
"Eyes are up, let's walk before breakfast?" I suggested.
"Sure, but first—" She hugged and kissed my cheek.
"What?!"
She giggled. "I love you, Onii-chan."
Post-walk, heading to breakfast, we ran into Kiryuu in the hall.
"Yo, Kiryuu," I said.
"Morning, Kiryuu-san," Miu added.
"Morning! You two are tight as ever," Kiryuu teased.
"Y-Yeah…" No way I'm admitting what went down.
Weren't Kiryuu, Miu, and Reyna roommates? Didn't she notice Miu was gone?
Kiryuu's glasses glinted as she grinned at Miu. "So? Last night go well?"
"Thanks to you. Thanks for lending them," Miu said.
"Worth preparing for this!" Kiryuu smirked.
…What?
Lending what?
A chill hit . "Miu… those things…?" I asked.
Kiryuu answered. "The con○doms? I gave 'em to her. School trips call for these monts. Didn't expect you'd use all twelve, though."
Miu didn't buy them—Kiryuu supplied them?!
She knew?!
"You two were practically lovers already. Figured you'd hook up. Good mory, right? Oh, treat Asia and Xenovia well too, Hyoudou," Kiryuu said, smirking lewdly.
"K-Kiryuu?!" I called, but she waved. "I'm off. Be happy, you two!" She vanished toward the hall.
"What the hell?!"
