I woke to a slight weight on my body.

"Hey, you're awake? Morning, Onii-chan," Miu said, perched atop .

After the battle with Loki, my injuries landed in a Gremory estate hospital. Asia's healing closed my wounds, but the exhaustion was severe, so I was told to rest. I'd been lying in bed, bored, staring out the window or sneaking glances at the nurses' figures, staying quiet.

After lunch, I dozed off—and woke to Miu. In a nurse cosplay. Straddling .

"Morning? It's evening. What about school?" I asked.

"I went. After classes, I asked Azazel-sensei to teleport here," she replied.

"And why are you on ? In a nurse outfit?"

"To cheer you up!" she said with a grin.

My eyes traced her: full, swaying chest, slim waist, smooth thighs peeking from her skirt. Her perfect figure was evident even through the outfit. Miu in a nurse cosplay—a healing vision! Not overly revealing, but the combo of her charm and the outfit set my heart racing.

"What do you think?" she asked.

"Super energized!" I gave a thumbs-up, tears of joy streaming down.

What a sight to wake to! Thank you!

"Guess the cosplay was a win," she said, flashing a bright smile.

As expected from my sister—she knows perfectly. Her smile was dazzling!

Whoa, calm down, Issei. Too much energy in certain places. Deep breaths.

"What's up?" Miu asked.

"Just appreciating how great it is to have a sister," I said.

"?" She tilted her head cutely, confused.

So healing. After all the recent chaos, her presence felt extra soothing.

A real angel in white.

I patted her head. "I'm so energized, I could live off this for days."

"You're so dramatic," she giggled.

"Not at all. You've no idea how much you've healed . Thanks, Miu."

"R-Really? That's… embarrassing," she mumbled, blushing and fidgeting. Adorable!

Every little action of hers was pure therapy.

Then I rembered, "Where's Rias and the others?"

"They're probably coming soon. Azazel-sensei said he'd stop by too," Miu replied.

I'd missed them these past few days. Hospital life was dull, and I wanted to get back to everyone.

Miu's expression darkened. "…Everyone, huh."

I knew why. "Nervous about telling them our story?"

During the Loki fight, our secrets were exposed: I'd been to another world, defeated its demon king, Sirius, and Miu was his daughter. Loki revealed it all in front of everyone.

How he knew, we couldn't figure out. But the truth was out. It was ti to co clean.

Miu nodded slightly. "Yeah… a bit."

She looked worried about being accepted.

I pulled her into a hug. "No need to worry. We're bound by unbreakable bonds. They'll accept us. We've shared joys, pains, and faced death together. They'll be fine with it. And—"

"And?" she asked.

"When I brought you here, I promised to protect you, no matter what. So don't stress!"

I'd sworn to Sirius to keep Miu safe. That vow held then, now, and forever.

Miu's eyes widened, then she smiled, clearly touched. "Thanks, Onii-chan… Issei."

She relaxed, leaning into .

Hadn't heard her call "Issei" in ages. Felt fresh.

I steeled myself. Hiding things from everyone had weighed on . This was a good chance to clear the air. Secrets always co out eventually—might as well be now.

I closed my eyes, deciding to rest until they arrived.

The door slid open with a clatter. Rias and the club stood there, panting for so reason. Their eyes widened, locked on and Miu, who was still pressed against .

…Oh, I'm dead.

"What's going on here?!" they shouted in unison, their voices echoing through the hospital.

Guys, keep it down in here.

Ten minutes later, we were getting a lecture.

"Miu, sneaking here without telling us? And in a nurse cosplay?" Rias said.

"Sorry…" Miu mumbled.

My legs were numb from sitting seiza the whole ti.

Azazel-sensei laughed, pointing at . "Hahaha! Ease up, he's a patient!"

Thanks for stepping in, Sensei, but I know you're thinking, "Keep it going!" It's written all over your face.

"Right," Rias said. "We're here to visit Issei. Gasper."

"Yes!" Gasper handed a fruit basket filled with vibrant, unfamiliar fruits—Gremory specialties, maybe?

"Eat these and get better, Issei-senpai!" he said.

"Thanks!" I set the basket on the bedside table. The colors were so vivid, it could double as decor.

"How's your condition, Issei-san?" Asia asked.

"All good, thanks to you. I'm feeling great," I said, patting her head.

She blushed, fidgeting. "I-I just did what I could."

So cute.

"When can you get out?" Xenovia asked. "I want you to train with again."

"About four or five days, with the arm treatnt," Azazel answered. "He's fine to move, though. Train him right after discharge."

"Got it. Count in, Issei," Xenovia said.

"Sweet. I need to shake off this hospital rust. Kiba, join us," I said.

"I was hoping you'd train with too," Kiba replied.

"Deal. The three of us, post-discharge."

The chatter continued, but I noticed everyone's expressions seed tense. Miu looked nervous too.

No avoiding it. Ti to dive in, even if it felt abrupt.

I took a breath, eting their eyes. "Guys, I need to talk. About and Miu."

Their faces shifted. Azazel's grin faded into a serious look. They'd been waiting for us to open up. I wouldn't let them down.

"You're all curious about Loki's words. I'll explain now. Ask questions later, but hear out first. Two years ago, sumr of my third year in middle school, I was sent to another world."

I laid it all bare: being transported to another world, bonding with its people, getting caught in a human-demon war, losing a friend, training desperately to protect everyone, battling Sirius, and being entrusted with Miu. I held nothing back.

They listened quietly, shocked but attentive.

"When I returned, I told my parents everything to secure Miu's life here," I said.

"So your parents know about the other world?" Rias asked.

"Yeah. I asked them to keep Miu's identity secret. Sorry, guys. I wanted to tell you, but for Miu's safety, I thought it was better to stay quiet."

A jewel appeared in my left hand, flashing as Ddraig spoke. "Please forgive him. He felt awful hiding this. It wasn't about distrust. I advised him to stay silent. Bla ."

No, Ddraig's not at fault. He always guided right, including with Miu.

Everyone stared, stunned into silence. Understandable—hard to process this out of nowhere, like my parents had been.

But Azazel, leaning against the wall, nodded. "Makes sense. Explains a lot."

"Explains what?" I asked.

"During the Three Factions' talks, I investigated you," he said. "Your strength was insane, but there was no trace of you using it before becoming a demon. That bugged . It's impossible to find nothing."

Grigori couldn't dig up another world's events. My sacred gear awakened there, so no surprise they found no traces.

His gaze shifted to Miu. "And you—your birthplace, your past, a total blank. Now it's clear. A demon king's daughter? Sirius, on par with our demon kings?"

"I'd like to correct that," Ddraig interjected. "In raw power, Sirius matches demon kings. But considering Miu's magic when saving Asia, his overall strength might surpass them."

"What?" Azazel said.

"He might've held back for so reason—or couldn't use his full power. Just a guess. He's gone, so we can't confirm," Ddraig added.

I agreed. Sirius didn't hold back in our fight—we went all out. Yet, watching Miu's power lately, I couldn't shake the feeling he had more.

"Anyway," Azazel said, "I get you and Miu now, including the other world. I don't bla you for hiding it—smart move. If word got out, it'd cause chaos. Miu could've been targeted as a test subject. Rias, you guys get that, right?"

"I do," Rias said. "It's shocking, and I don't fully grasp it yet, but knowing Issei trusts us is enough."

She turned to Miu. "Miu, I'd never reject you for being from another world. You're family."

Everyone smiled and nodded.

"Issei-kun is Issei-kun, and Miu-chan is Miu-chan. Nothing else," Akeno said.

Tears fell from Miu's eyes.

"We're comrades," Kiba said. "I swore to be your sword and protect everyone, including you two. Though, I doubt I could beat you now."

Thanks, Kiba. That ans everything.

"You're my precious friends and family, no matter your past!" Asia said.

"Issei-senpai and Miu-senpai are kind seniors to ," Koneko-chan added.

"I love you both!" Gasper chid in.

"You're just you to —irreplaceable friends!" Xenovia said.

"Your past doesn't matter. You saved !" Reyna added.

"You're my dear childhood friend, Issei, and Miu's important too! Wait, does that make her my sister too?" Irina said.

Irina, I didn't quite follow that last part, but thanks.

I looked at Miu. "See? Nothing to worry about."

"Yeah… Thank you, everyone!" Miu sobbed, tears streaming like a waterfall.

Not tears of sadness, so it's fine.

"Thanks, guys," I said. "Really."

Becoming a demon brought endless battles and injuries, but I had no regrets. eting these amazing people made it worth it.

As the room filled with warmth, Rias paused. "Your past is fine, but…"

"What's up?" I asked.

"You spent three years in that world, right?"

"Yeah."

"And ti didn't pass here…"

"Yup."

I was shocked back then. Good thing, too—otherwise, my parents might've reported missing.

Rias looked down, then at . "So, you're older than and Akeno?"

"Oh!" everyone gasped.

"…Huh?" I said.

"Three years there, but no ti here…" Rias started.

"ans Issei-kun's two years older than us," Akeno finished.

"Logically, yeah," Azazel said. "Issei's 17, but really 20."

All eyes turned to .

"W-Wait, ti didn't pass here, so I'm still 17—"

"Nope," Azazel cut in. "Your body and mind lived three extra years. Face it—you're 20."

"B-But—"

"No buts! You're 20, so you're drinking with next ti!" Azazel grinned.

"Nooooo!" My scream echoed through the hospital.

I can't be 20 without a proper youth!

"Oh, by the way, Rossweisse is my new retainer," Rias said.

"Whaaaaaaat!?"
