As for this result, Zheng Qing heartily agreed, and he too very much wanted a quiet environnt.
Avoiding Nicolas was because everyone simply didn’t want to deal with him anymore.

She could protect Nicolas from verbal harm, but she could not prevent others from ignoring him.
Nicolas used to be invisible because he closed off his heart; now he was transparent again because he was isolated by his classmates.
Zheng Qing intended to help Nicolas break this isolation—at least, he could go over and share a joke with Nicolas, slightly easing the atmosphere of isolation in the class.
But Xiao Xiao held him back.
