1366: Chapter 113: When Will the Flowers Fall in the Dream 1366: Chapter 113: When Will the Flowers Fall in the Dream In the midst of that applause, Liu Fei Fei clapped with extra enthusiasm.

Her tiny face was flushed red, her eyes sparkled brightly, and her expression was proud and arrogant.

Initially, the classmates simply clapped in genuine appreciation of Nicolas’s response, but gradually, soone started the trend of banging on the tables and stomping their feet.

Bang Bang Bang!

Bang Bang Bang!

Without any rowdy encouragent or excessive noise that would disrupt classroom discipline, the rhythmic clapping and the shared knowing smiles were enough to suddenly make the two young wizards blush.

Liu Fei Fei swiftly turned around and rushed back to her seat, burying her head in her arms.

Nicolas stood there, unsure of what to do, looking from one classmate to another, until finally his pleading eyes turned towards Professor Li Qihuang.

The professor unusually did not comnt on classroom discipline.

He smiled and enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the classroom, and after a while, when the rhythm of the applause beca a bit chaotic, he raised his hand to signal for the students to quiet down.

“How nostalgic youth is, always presenting surprises when least expected,” Professor Li twirled his slender teaching stick in his hand and sighed, eliciting another round of sympathetic laughter.

“…But if everyone pays attention to my lectures, you should rember a phrase I once ntioned in class—’Magic-made love often resembles real love more closely,’ because both magic and love are unreasonable.”

The professor cleverly steered the conversation back to the classroom topic, skirting the recent discussion on the crafting of magic potions to switch to a textbook knowledge point:

“Now, let us review the common magic potions used to counteract love potions…”

Zheng Qing’s hand holding the feather pen paused, the tip leaving a deep mark on the parchnt.

The words “love potion” drifted his thoughts away from the magic potion class, to the San You Bookstore, to the sleeping Elena under the small tree.

He suddenly felt a pang of guilt.

He realized that he was thinking less and less of the gypsy witch with wine-red wavy long hair, dressed in a Bohemian long dress.

Indeed, he was busy—preparing for final exams, helping Lin Guo find the Black Mountain Goat, guarding against the potential Outer God lurking on Buji Island, handling work in the labs of both Professor Montelio and Su Shijun, and patrolling Lin Zhong Lake on Saturday night, among other things—but a voice deep inside him whispered that these were rely excuses.

He was just getting used to it; used to no longer waiting alone in the library for the fleeting presence of Elena, used to not feigning ignorance between two shadows, used to the arrogant and rude Little White Cat on the Cat Fruit tree.

The warlock’s confused gaze drifted over the front row of the classroom.

Then, as if stung by a bee, he quickly looked away and focused back on the parchnt on his desk where the feather pen had already left several deep stains.

Xiao Xiao, sitting next to him, noticed this anomaly.

“Stay focused during class,” he nudged the warlock with his elbow and whispered, “The professor might call on you to answer a question at any mont…”

Zheng Qing finally forced himself to gather so energy, striving to concentrate in the class.

He managed to maintain this until the magic potion class ended.

Professor Li left the classroom, and Nicolas and Liu Fei Fei also fled amidst the clamor of their classmates.

Zheng Qing’s gaze followed them, his eyes revealing a subtle hint of envy.

He, too, wanted a passionate and free love like those two young wizards.

But reality, like a quagmire, kept him deeply mired, every move burdened with unspeakable concerns.

With these feelings of guilt and envy entangled, Zheng Qing declined Xiao Xiao’s suggestion to go to the study room together and headed to the library alone.

By so divine coincidence or perhaps it was fate, when Zheng Qing arrived at the third floor of the library, the seats where he and Elena often sat were just being vacated by two young male and female wizards, who were laughing as they gathered their things to leave.

The warlock chuckled self-deprecatingly and sat down dispiritedly.

The noon in May was bright with sunshine.

The orange light filtered through the large floor-to-ceiling windows of the library, casting the unpredictable shadows of clouds and the mottled shade of trees into this tranquil space.

Zheng Qing sat on the high-backed hardwood chair in the library, a few textbooks spread in front of him, but his mind couldn’t concentrate.

After hesitating for a mont, he stood up and picked up a book called “Yunluo Nine Seals” from the shelf dedicated to Talismans.

Elena had used this book when she was studying Talismans.

The warlock opened the book cover, revealing the deep black title page inside.

Guru Dongxuan’s gilded na glittered in the sunlight with a rumored light.

Several spirited Cloud Scripts huddled together, tucked in the crease of the book, lazily stretching out, avoiding the glaring sunlight and the disturbance of readers.

Zheng Qing stared at the Cloud Scripts, his eyelids growing heavier.

At the neighboring desk, a warlock was writing fervently, the sound of his feather pen scratching against the parchnt mixing with the quiet ambiance of the library, like rain falling on a spring night, slowly relaxing his tense spirit.

Zheng Qing vaguely rembered a ti when he had playfully scratched those Cloud Scripts with a brush, laughing as they wriggled between the pages while a Gypsy witch chided him for his distracted explanation.

“Pop!”

A paper ball lightly hit the young funded student on the head, making him involuntarily shrink his neck.

Turning around, Elena was looking at him discontentedly:

“We haven’t finished this Talisman yet, why are you zoning out again?”

“I wasn’t zoning out, I wasn’t.” Zheng Qing touched his head and chuckled: “Your reminder ca at the right ti, I just rembered sothing… You’ve been learning a lot theoretically these days; you need so practical experience to test your learning outcos…”

Since their last agreent, the warlock had been tutoring the Gypsy witch in Talismans for over a month.

It must be admitted, although Elena was exceptionally talented in Divination, her comprehension of Talismans was sowhat unsatisfactory.

That paper ball made Zheng Qing suddenly realize that perhaps through practical operations, she could deepen her understanding of what she had learned and reinforce her existing knowledge.

“So why did you bring to Book Mountain Library today?” The witch was still a bit puffed up.

“There’s a laboratory affiliated with the library downstairs where we can conduct so safe theoretical tests.” The warlock pointed downwards and explained, “…We can study so theory, then go down to conduct a few experints, and then co back up to review the theory.

I think this will enhance the learning effect.”

The witch pursed her lips, seemingly sowhat persuaded.

The scene shifted, and the two were now standing in the laboratory affiliated with the Book Mountain Library downstairs.
